Suzy was coming back from the beach when she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her feet. She was surprised that she dropped the towel that she was carrying. She looked down and realized it was her daughter, she picked her up and hugged her. 

“What are you doing here? Where is Rosé, did she bring you.?” she asked, her daughter's hair “Eomma I miss you, don’t ever leave me I was scared I didn’t know where I was I thought you were never coming back.”  Jang-Mi said with tears almost coming out of her eyes 

“I will never leave you okay…Now let's head inside it looks like it’s going to rain.” This time she moves her direction towards her house and sees Rosé's face all red. That’s when she remembers that she had dropped her towel and was just in her bikini. She quickly puts her daughter down and grabs her towel and wraps it around her. 

“How long have you been standing there.?” she asked embarrassed. “I- umm not too long don’t worry I closed my eyes I- didn’t see anything.” Rosé said stuttering the last word  

“Okay, well let’s head inside it seems it’s starting to rain,” Suzy said, grabbing Jang-Mi’s hand while heading inside Rosé following behind them. Once inside Suzy saw how dirty her daughter's clothes were and decided it was best for her to take a shower. 

“Did you come here in a hurry, by the looks of Jang-Mi’s clothes I am guessing you did.” She said “OMG I'm sorry I barely realized she got dirty because of the food I gave her.” Rosé said worriedly coming towards Jang-Mi 

“It’s fine, it happens, we will be right back. I am going to shower her and I need one as well. You can make yourself comfortable, once I am done we can talk about why you are here.” Suzy said leaving the room to go upstairs with her daughter. 

Once alone Rosé sat down on the couch wondering why she was there in the first place. She got out her phone and checked for messages, she saw there was none so she closed it and started walking around. 

She saw how the house lacked furniture, judging by the looks of it this house was barely used. There was a table, couch, centerpiece, and tv but other than that it was pretty much empty. She moved towards the window watching the rain come down, and it seemed like it wasn’t going to stop anytime soon. 

She heard footsteps coming down the stairs so she went to sit down on the couch, once they were down Suzy sat Jang-Mi right next to her and the tv. “What do you want to watch?” she heard Suzy say “Netflix.” her daughter shouted 

Suzy put on a kid's show and told her they needed to talk so they moved to the table. 

“What are you doing here?” Suzy asked her “you weren’t answering your phone. Hyeri was worried she was going to come but I told her I could come instead. Before you say why Jang-Mi was crying and I didn’t know what to do you weren’t answering, this was the best solution to get her to stop.” she said hoping Suzy doesn’t get mad “I guess I forgot to text her back and I’m sorry my phone must have died. I haven’t checked it since I got here.” “Don’t worry, I already let her know you are here. Well - I- should probably head out.” she said 

“What no, it's still raining and I don’t think it’s stopping soon, it’s dangerous out there. I don't think I'll forgive myself if something happens to you… Please stay.” Suzy said 

“Okay I’ll stay,” she said giving her a reassuring smile which was returned to her 

“Have you eaten anything? I could make something real quick before coming I picked up some groceries.?” Suzy said to her getting up and heading to the kitchen “I- sure would like for me to help you.?” “No it’s fine I can do it, it won't take long, but do you mind watching Jang-Mi sometimes she likes to wander around.” “yeah sure no problem let me know if you need help.” she said leaving towards the living room

Rosé sat down with her daughter who was explaining what was happening in the show. She tried to pay attention but her eyes would wander to Suzy who was very concentrated on her cooking. She stopped looking because she was almost caught, so she went back paying attention to Jang-Mi. 

She wondered if this would have been her life if she made the first move when Suzy was back from Paris. Would they have been a happy family, but at the cost of her career, would she have been ready to quit and get married at a young age. She knew she would have done it but she didn’t want to blame anyone in the future, especially Suzy and her daughter. 

She couldn’t turn back time where she would be there to watch her daughter grow up, but from now on she could enjoy every moment she stays with her. She was brought back from her thoughts when she heard Suzy say the food was ready, Rosé got up and headed towards the kitchen, she was followed by her daughter. 

“I wasn’t planning on staying, that's why I bought so little ingredients, but I was able to make a spicy kimchi stew you do eat this right.?” Suzy asked her sounding nervous hoping she says yes 

“Yes, don't worry, I mostly eat everything except avocados.” She said making a disgusted face which earned a giggle from her daughter 

“Okay good… and for you, Jang-Mi here is an egg omelet,” Suzy said handing her the plate 

They sat in silence eating the food, enjoying the memory they were creating. From time to time their daughter would make them talk but other than that they enjoyed the silence only the sound of rain could be heard. 

“Thank you for the food, it was delicious.” she said standing up and picking Jang-Mi’s and her plate and going towards the sink to wash them “yeah it was nothing… wait, I'll wash them leave them there,” Suzy told her standing up and going towards her 

“No I can do it, at least let me do this… are you done with yours.?” she asked “I- umm yes and thank you,” Suzy said handing her the plate, for a moment their hands touched and she felt bolts of electricity explode. 

She quickly turned away facing the sink and started washing instead of thinking of what that meant. 

Suzy on the other hand was on the couch with her daughter watching frozen. “Eomma why did you leave me with her.” Jang-Mi asked her curiously “I went to check on someone and needed you to be taken care of. Why did you not like it there.?” She asked 

“I did but I was scared I woke up and you weren’t there next to me, I thought you had left me forever like Appa.” she heard her daughter say sadly “Oh baby I would never do that…Minho didn’t leave you he I- how do I say this. I think you understand what I say to you so I should just tell you the truth can you take it.?” she asked her 5 year old holding her 

“Yes I can, I am big, remember, I won’t get mad at you because you are my mom.” the little girl said to her hugging her 

“Okay Minho wasn’t your Appa, he was my husband but he wasn’t your real father. I- know this must  be confusing but Minho was just there because he was together with me, he did love you though but he had to let us go so we wouldn’t get hurt anymore.” she said
