taeyeon’s pov

”ex—cu—se me tae- --tae” I heard someone say

then I felt an added weight
I look back and saw the girl falling slowly on the ground

I immediately caught her and wrap my hands around her waist to support her

I carried her in a bridal style to make it easy for me to assist her

yuri then saw me
she quickly helped me to put the girl inside the car
I sat next to the girl

I was about to pull the car door
but I saw yuri froze for a moment

”yul? Wae?” I asked

she came back to her senses and answered “uhh.. nothing and you owe me an explanation”  with that she let go of the car’s door
 walked towards the driver’s seat and sat down quietly

I stole glances at the girl.
she seems to be uncomfortable so I lifted her head and placed it on my lap

as I looked at her I just notice her skin was so flawless when you touched it you can feel it’s softness

but I still felt sorry for her
she had lost her parents

actually, I don’t really intend to tell her to be my maid
I could leave alone in fact it’s just I just can’t let her sleep on streets
even though I think she looks from a good family .. I mean financially comfortable

I unknowingly brushed her bangs away from her face
this is the first time I saw someone so peaceful not to mention she looks like a goddess

”sleeping goddess” I mumbled

I then noticed her lips and touched mine

soft? Kissable? Pink?

She must be even more beautiful if her lips will show some smile

I tried to imagine this loud girl's face when she smile

but I just couldn’t get it right

I chuckled so loud that made yuri took a glance at me
I quickly stopped and avert my gaze to the window

and then I still caught her stealing glances at the back not on me but to the girl who’s sleeping peacefully

”where did you get that girl taeng?” she asked with an accused tone

”hey, don’t make it sound like I’m a bad guy” I said flatly

” it’s not what I mean.. it’s just. I mean..uhmm u-uh” she kept on stuttering

”eh? What?” I asked curiously

”actually, she was kinda familiar.. uhmm not sure..” she paused for a while “and before I forget about this one! I kept on reminding you that you need to enroll now or else.. sigh.. just enroll okay? And don’t worry just make sure we’re going to be in the same class taeng”

”hey.. what’s with the stressed tone.. are you girlfriend ermm?? Argued?” I asked and eyed her suspiciously


”what? Of course not.. she’s just having a problem with her friend.. and I felt sad for her” yuri finally let it out
”and I guess it’s really unfortunate for her best friend”

”eh ? why?” I asked

”she ran away from their house in America because of arrange marriage.. and now her parents were crazily looking for her”

”ooh” that was all I can say

”sigh.. arrange marriage..?? huh? Really unfortunate” yuri said and immediately stopped the car

”taeng we’re here”

”oh thanks” I said as I carried the girl out of the car

”seriously, taeng why did like to be here? Did your parents and you ? uhmm you know get into a fight again?”

yuri knows when I stay here in my grandfather’s house when me and my parents fought

”yes and I permanently moved out.. I can’t stay in that hell anymore.. and this place meant so much for me..” I said calmly as I breathed softly

in this house I can move freely and it reminds me of my grand parents

and my parents won’t stopped me either I told them don’t ever look for me again because no matter what I won’t agree and that’s final

but I’m still gonna hold our company

I’m still the heiress
and for now I’m sure they’re just letting me do what I want.

”yul, gomawo you can go home now, sorry for disturbing” I said sincerely
then she patted my shoulder

”anytime taeng and no problem I’m your best buddy you know.. okay I’ll go now” she said and leave the house

i felt my arms were going to surrender
so I immediately run upstairs and put the girl on the bed

she looks so pale
she must be tired from all the running she made

I quickly go downstairs and walk towards the kitchen 

I opened the cabinet to look for something

and my eyes immediately lit up

”it’s been a long time since I cook” I smiled and grab those things I need from the cabinet

I looked upstairs I hope she’s going to sleep for more hours.
because I might take long. Sigh I really missed cooking
