Joohyun regrets a lot of things in her life. If she’s asked to ‘list your regrets in life’, she could make a book out of it. Joohyun’s friends once said she’s so boring, that she’s so strict to herself. 

“Unnie, one more and you’re done” the staff said. Bringing Joohyun back to reality

“cool. So, after this I can go home?” Joohyun hoped it’s the last schedule. She’s been working nonstop, her body is begging her to take a rest. the staff replied with a shrug

One thing Joohyun liked about her new staff that it doesn’t go onto her business that much, the last one was asking her too many questions and Joohyun doesn’t like that. She doesn’t like people who steps on the line. So, she asked her manager to transfer the old one to another model.

“Unnie, your phone is ringing” Joohyun was once again brought back to where she was.

Suuungwan is calling

Looking at the name, Joohyun cringed. She could've name it normally like 'wendy' or ‘A WEIRDO DON’T ANSWER’

Joohyun let out a long sigh then pressed the green button

“Hey babeee” there she is again, with her raspy voice. Joohyun thinks the blonde is working on a new album

“don’t babe me” Joohyun said while refraining herself to roll her eyes, still fighting herself not to ask the blonde about her voice

Don't overwork yourself. 

“not gonna ask why did I call? hmm, someone’s getting attached” She was so sure the blonde has that stupid smile on her face

“goodbye” Joohyun replied and followed up with “eat and rest too” almost a mumble

“I heard that. aw, you are worried? do you like me already?  I’m gl-

“shut up” Joohyun cuts the blonde. There was silence from the other line that made joohyun think the call ended, she was about to put her phone down when the blonde spoke

“I will and you should too, joohyun..”

Joohyun just hummed, she still have a CF to finish and she got no time for this.

“Hey, I was wondering if you would like to have a drink tonight with me, If you’re free of course. If not, then it’s okay” The singer sound so nervous, which gave Joohyun an Idea. A revenge

“where?” Joohyun said with a smirk

“The bar where we met. I’m singing there tonight so, I just thought I’ll ask you” she can sense that the blonde was nervous based on her awkward laughs

“Sure” then Joohyun ended the call

Joohyun smiled at herself in the mirror and said ‘In your dreams, Son Seungwan’

After the stunt she pulled on the blonde, she never heard about her since then. Joohyun wasn’t worried about it, in fact she was glad. No more cheesy pick-up lines and calls from the blonde. She won’t be annoying her anymore.

“HA! YOU’RE JUST ONE OF THOSE GUYS WHO JUST WANT ATTENTION FROM ME!” She Let out loud laugh. She doesn’t care if its wee hours and there are people who are still sleeping. She’s happy that she finally got rid of the singer.

“I wish I did this sooner” Joohyun thought its another one added to her list of regrets

regrets on not getting rid of the blonde sooner or...

“Okay Joohyun, time to get ready” for the first time, she’s eager to work today.

Is this the end of the moment
Or just a beautiful unfolding

Joohyun doesn’t understand herself, she should be happy right now but why is she looking at her phone every five minutes. It doesn’t help that the radio in the car is playing one of wendy’s song

“why? it’s a good song. Anywhere but here, a cheesy title but did you know that Wendy wrote this when she was in high school, She wrote this for a girl she liked. Also, she never wanted to be a singer before so that’s a bonus sh-

“I don’t care if it’s for a girl she liked or whatever amazing she did. Change it” Joohyun said while blankly staring outside.

Joohyun keeps on looking at her phone, checking if there’s any messages. Her manager already noticed it and shook its head with disappointment.

“If you wanted to use your phone whole day, Better go home then” her manager sternly said which made her put back her ‘model mode’ back. But that doesn’t mean she’s still not annoyed at herself for acting like this

like she misses the singer

Her Schedule for today is full, as always. Her last schedule today is an interview. she hates it... 

“Joohyun. What’s up with you and the Singer Wendy? the fans are curious about it, the song she wrote about you” the girl in front of her smiles

fans? more like you guys just wanted to create an issue, Joohyun wanted to say but she went with “I don’t know the Singer personally, maybe she’s just inspired by me like everybody else that’s why she wrote the song”

it’s true she doesn’t know the blonde personally, other than being annoying. They’re barely friends.

“I see, what do you think of Wendy as a Singer?”

“Don’t you have other question that might be relevant to my line of work?” Joohyun was pissed

The interviewee then apologizes then proceeds to the ‘actual’ questions

Joohyun didn’t know why is she even here, she could be sleeping by now. Instead she went straight to this bar. Looking for someone? maybe

“One more song? okay, just because I love you guys”

‘what do you think of Wendy as a singer?’

“She’s…different” Joohyun said out loud. The bartender gave her a look of '???' but she paid no attention to that, only the singer on the stage.

“come on dance with me!” The blonde said while jumping as she reaches the pre-chorus. Joohyun joined the crowd but still keeping her profile low, afraid that the girl might see her

as if, this place is crowded

Joohyun thinks Wendy casted a spell on her because she’s having fun. too much

Wendy was sure having fun dancing that she jumps of the stage to dance with the crowd. Joohyun didn’t expect that and moved farther from where the blonde is. Joohyun might be drunk and having fun but she didn’t want the singer to spot her.

But you know what they say ‘the more you avoid someo-

“Where have you been, my disco?”

Wendy was looking at her right now, she can’t explain if the blonde was happy to see her or not.

'Hey where have you been, my disco?'

like I care, Joohyun thought then decided to leave the place. She knows Wendy is still looking at her, she knows.

because later that night when she was doing her night routine the singer texted her

I’m supposed to be mad at you, but I can’t 😉 I'm glad you showed up tonight, my disco lol

Good night Bae

Joohyun raised an eyebrow, she’s about to put her phone down when it beeps again

also, you look hot earlier wearing crop top matching with the tight skirt. Damn Bae, you are on F-I-R-E

The model didn’t respond and continues to do her thing, with a small smile

She isn’t mad at me

Ever since then she never missed any of the blonde gigs. The singer still texts her cheesy pick- up lines even though she's not responding.

Joohyun thought this is one of her ‘what the hell am I doing moments’ she is so sure about it. Because who in their right mind would go to every gigs of that annoying/talented blonde? The fact that she hates the blonde doesn’t add up why is she even doing this.

Seeing Wendy having fun on stage, singing her heart out made her feel something.

Did I became a fan without me realizing it?

or maybe because it was her dream before, and seeing the blonde enjoys herself on stage makes her feel happy? she doesn-

“Hello, Bae”

Joohyun let out a scream, she pushed the laughing blonde.

“woah it’s just me,you looked like a scared bunny right now” wendy said between her laughs

Joohyun rolled her eyes then grabs her martini to drink, She was angry at herself for not hiding from the blonde, again.

or maybe she wanted to be seen by her

“this is the third time? eight? idk, I lost count. You must like me that much huh? to come at my gigs” Wendy said while leaning on the counter.

“In your dreams” Joohyun answered back, but Wendy wasn’t done

“Come on, I know you like you me” The singer nudged her

Joohyun hit her shoulder then said “Really? You should wake up from your delusions I will never like you, ever. Now get lost”

“Um, sorry to interrupt but I need to speak to wendy”

Wendy nodded at the purple head girl

Joohyun hates purple now. She thought that was so random of her. she thinks she's just drunk, yep. totally 

“Bae Joohyun, you keep on saying that. But then you keep on attending my gigs” Wendy whispered in her ear then proceeds to walk away

“ I ing hate you so much” Joohyun muttered under her breath and drinks her second drink in one go
