"There was a paparazzi outside your house that took a picture of us" Jungkook started and continued on telling the story to IU, she was quietly listening while treating his wounds

"So yeah that's what happened" Jungkook finished

"it's finish" IU said and setting aside the cream while Jungkook got her shirt and wore it again. They sat facing each other waiting for one of them to say a word

"You should have called the police" IU said

"But it may get on headlines" Jungkook answered 

"Then you should have let the paparazzi go" IU said

"That picture can ruin the career you have established all your life" Jungkook answered 

"My career? It's because of me?" IU said, surprised at what she heard

"I-i mean our career, my career, bangtan" Jungkook said trying to save his slip of tongue even though he knows it's too late

IU looked down but shortly looked back up

"Thank you" IU smiled bitterly

His heart would always flatter when IU smiles but this smile made his heart wrench in pain. He doesn't know what's wrong or he just doesn't want to know at all. It was a smile he doesn't want to see. 

"You better go it's getting late, i'll come with you downstairs" IU suggested and Jungkook complied

It was so silent on their way down it was killing him but no one dared to talk.

He got on his car without uttering a single word. He looked one last time at IU but she didn't look back. He started his engine and got going 

His heart was in pain through out the car drive and even when he arrived he also think that it won't fade until IU talks to him again. 

He got on with his schedule with a heavy heart but armys let him forget his problems for awhile so he was very thankful but whenever IU comes back into his mind. He can't help but get sad all of a sudden. 

Days passed but still there is no sign of communications between them. Jungkook didn't have any courage to call her. 

IU on the other hand decided to work until she get tired but to no avail she never did. 

When there is no work she can't stay put so she looked for things to do. Her heart feels heavy but she doesn't know why, she decided to go drink some soju outside.

She doesn't know why she wanted to drink, she actually is not fond of soju since she doesn't have the time to drink but she felt she needed it this time.
