“Doctor, is there any way to get rid of these feelings?”

“Why do you want to get rid of these feelings? Isn’t it normal for people of your age to experience love?”

“As much as I want to experience it, my job and person of attraction makes it quite difficult to do so”

“I see. Well in that case, there are 2 ways to move on.”

“One, to confess and get rejected and two, to keep those feelings to yourself and accept the fact that the person will never be anything more than just a friend and move on”

 “But my advice is to not think of moving on straight away because you never know that the other party might like you too. You deserve to be happy too Chaeyeon.“

But that’s not gonna happen, not when the person I like is Saku chan, who is the same gender as me. God, she’s gonna freak out if she ever knew I harbour feelings for her. There is no way she would like me too. My only option is to move on.

“Which one would you suggest doctor?”

“I would suggest the former because after rejection, it is easier to accept that the person doesn’t feel the same way as you. But whichever way you choose, I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with having feelings for someone. Do think carefully because I don’t want you to regret your decision”

“Ok doctor, thank you for the advice. I will keep it in mind. Thank you for helping me understand these feelings”

“My pleasure”

With that, Chaeyeon make her way out of the room.

Chaeyeon has been thinking a lot about this conversation with the doctor ever since she accepted her feelings for Sakura.

To confess or not to confess?

That’s a question that Chaeyeon needs to answer so she tries to think of the scenarios that will happen when she confess or didn’t confess.
