“You are really look bothered, Sunbae,” Suzy chuckled. She often called Jessica with ‘sunbae’ to annoy the older woman

“Am I?” Jessica plopped her back to the bench. She just had a trial and leisure at the park near the City Court.

“Yeah,” Suzy offered the can of lemon tea, “It’s not usual for you; even Junho realized that.”

“Yeah, something bothering me,” Jessica sips her drink, “My wife.”

“Huh? If Yoongi heard this, he would never believe.”

“Hahaha,” Jessica laughed dryly, “She asked me to resign.”

“What?” Suzy wider her eyes, “Are you serious? I mean, you are being a prosecutor for a long time. You are the best prosecutor in this city along with Chief Prosecutor Choi.”

“You are too much,” Jessica pushed Suzy’s shoulder, playfully, “I stepped outside before listening to her explanation. Maybe it makes she distanced herself from me. It’s been two weeks.”

“You need to make up as soon as possible,” said Suzy, “I know how you love her. She probably needs you more.”

“I know… Yoona has been said that her Dad looks so messy after that fight. I need to get her back. We need to make it clear.”

“That’s my favorite Sunbae,” Suzy raises her can to have a toast. It makes Jessica giggled before clink their cans together

“Anyway, how’re the files about Assembly Go that I requested before?” Jessica asked

“Ah, actually, I was about to tell you about the information. Soohyun and I found that the Assembly Go’s Lawyer was Stephanie Kwon.”

“What? Tiffany?”

“Yep,” Suzy nodded, “But she withdrew as soon as Assembly Go appealed to Supreme Court.”

“Why?”

“That’s… We have no idea,” Suzy shrugged, “That was odd. I mean, Lawyer Kwon successfully made Assembly Go’s conviction lower than the charges from the prosecutor. At that time, the prosecutor on duty is the late Prosecutor Han.”

“Suzy, do you feel like something off from this?”

“About the death of Prosecutor Han? The police concluded that was an accident even though his car was new at that time,” Suzy sighed again, “I heard this from Prosecutor Kim yesterday. The prosecutor's office was blocked from opening the investigation. The court said so, so at that time, they had no clue.”

Jessica nodded to Suzy’s explanation. She heard the case when she’s still a newbie from her Dad. And also, Kim Hyunbin, her senior, told a story about the odd case of the death of Prosecutor Han

“Are you really want to open up the case?” Suzy asked. She felt so nervous because this case actually a “hot spot” on the Gangnam Prosecutor Office because no one dares to touch it. Jessica wants to open up this case badly because Jang Kibum and Ha Donghoon, the victim and the defendant of her latest case, were related to Assembly Go.

“Obviously. I need to talk with Tiffany.”

“Are you sure?”

“I don’t know,” Jessica shrugs, “I never had a good conversation with her. Maybe I need to calm down.”

“You can do it, Sunbae!” Suzy grinned, which makes Jessica slapped her shoulders.

Jessica kicked her boots to the shoe rack. She scanned the shoes, and the blue sneakers are missing. Jessica sighed heavily, Taeyeon isn’t home again tonight

“Mom,”

Jessica turned her head and found Yoona looks at her. She tilted her head in confusion

“Hey,” Jessica smiled, “What’s wrong? I just came.”

“Yeah,” Yoona sighed, but she managed to smile, “Dad was called to the company just now.”

“Oh.”

“Mom,” Yoona tugged Jessica’s wrist before her mother walked upstairs, “Are you okay?”

“I don’t know,” Jessica smiled meekly, “Both of us have no idea why we avoid each other.”

“Let’s have a short holiday,” Yoona suggested, “I talked with Irene, and we booked a caravan this Saturday.”

“With your Dad?”

“She’s not answering, but even though I want to spend the day with you, Mom.”

Jessica extended her hand to caressed Yoona’s hair. She smiled upon the warm idea; it reminds Jessica of Taeyeon in her younger days. Yoona has resembled Taeyeon in many ways. That’s why she always sees Taeyeon in Yoona

“Yes, I’ll be there soon,” Jessica replied, “Have you eaten?”

“Yep. I ate with Irene after she finished her course. We talked about the plan though.”

“Okay then.” Jessica patted Yoona’s head. Yoona chuckled because it makes Jessica tiptoed; she’s taller than her mom and her dad is, surprisingly, shorter than her mom

“You still mocked me, huh?” Jessica pinched Yoona’s waist and the younger girl roared

“Hahahaha I’m so sorry, Mom!”

“Have a good sleep.”

“You too, Mom.”

“It’s a success!” Yoona barged into Irene’s room when the latter still reading a book

“Yah!”

“Oops, are you reading an novel?” Yoona teased while throwing herself into Irene’s bed

“It’s you, not me,” Irene slaps Yoona with her book lightly, “Are you asking mom?”

“Yep, she agreed.”

“Nice!” Irene shows her thumb up. She texted Taeyeon to tell about another plan. “That’s good. Dad agreed with the plan. So, we can let Namjoon Oppa drove her to the site and I will call her about us. Then, Dad will fetch her and they will spend the night in the caravan!”

“Sounds a good plan,” Yoona grinned, “As long as I hate Dad being clingy to Mom, I really hate when they separated like this. You know, when I met Dad that night, she looks so lifeless.”

“Mommy too,” Irene sighed, remembering how her Mom being so gloomy whenever they had dinner at home without Taeyeon

“This must be good or we will force them to speak coolly about this.”

“Hahaha, calm down, Unnie,” Irene chuckled, “Anyway, how’s you and Seohyun Unnie?”

“Well, we never met after that night. But don’t worry, we still communicate well,” Yoona grinned, “The biggest fear of us today is when our mothers caught us up.”

“It’s better to tell them sooner,” Irene closed her book, “I don’t want to see another mess in this house.”

“I promise, little girl,” Yoona ruffled Irene’s hair which makes the younger girl screamed in protest. They still quarreled when they heard steps approach Irene’s door

“Guys?” Jessica knocked on the door and opened a little, “You guys are here?”

“Mommy!” Irene called her mother while pouted, “Unnie is making a fuss in my bed!”

“Yoona,” Jessica walked closer to the bed, “You need to wash your feet and hand before bullying Irene.”

“Mommyyyyyy,” Irene whined

“Hahaha, sorry,” Jessica takes a seat on Irene’s bed, “It would be good if we sleep together.”

“I want it!” Yoona jumped from the bed, “I will change into PJ and wash myself first!”

“Take your time, Sweetie!” Jessica yelled at Yoona while the first daughter already ran outside. Jessica chuckled, remembering Yoona’s behavior; it’s so Taeyeon

“What makes you suddenly come here, Mom?” Irene snuggled to her mother’s arm. Jessica caressed her hair and hummed

“I heard you talked with Yoona. I just miss you guys.”
