“Hey, you are awake,” Krystal whispered to her sister.

“Krystal…” Jessica meekly said. Her eyes are looking for someone, and when her eyes caught, she’s tugging a little smile

“She’s tired,” Krystal takes a seat beside Jessica’s bed, “She’s just asleep for 30 minutes.”

“Krystal, what happened with her cheek?”

“Ah,” Krystal drifts her eyes from her sister and watches Taeyeon for a while. Krystal told Jessica about the events which happened after Jessica hospitalized

“She loves you,” said Krystal, concluded her story

“I love her more.”

After Jessica discharged from hospital, Taeyeon actually stays beside Jessica. When she didn’t have overwork, Taeyeon would ride the bus to Jessica’s office and drove her to her house, before riding another bus to come home

But still, their relationship turned awkward

Jessica said that the engagement has canceled. Mr. Jung called Taeyeon and apologize for the hasty decision. Mrs. Kim also called Taeyeon and asked her, if she’s ready to marry Jessica, then she must be prepared

Today though, Taeyeon purchased a ring for Jessica. She wandered and ended up at the park near SG building

A single tear escaped Taeyeon’s eyes.

“Sica… I lost my confidence to make you happy…” Taeyeon cried silently. Unaware about the situation; actually someone is listening Taeyeon’s wail

Jessica had overtime today. She will get the first trial by tomorrow, and she’s so nervous. She wants to see Taeyeon and sleeps on her warm embrace which always makes her relax

“Why did she turn her phone off?” Jessica shook her head. She tried to call Taeyeon since one hour ago, but the latter doesn’t pick up. Jessica decided to come upstairs, she knows Taeyeon passcode anyway

Jessica was greeted by Taeyeon’s sleeping figure at the couch. The latter is wearing her usual attire for work, not minding to change

What makes Jessica surprised is the tears stains on Taeyeon’s eyes to her cheeks. Taeyeon looks so tired, and her face looks so sad in her sleep

“What happened?” Jessica whispered to no one. She’s down on her knees and put her head beside Taeyeon’s waist. She holds Taeyeon’s hand tenderly and slowly drifts to sleep

“Ugh,” Taeyeon blinks her eyes to adjust her eyes. She furrowed her eyebrows because her living room feels dim, she remembers that she didn’t change the lamp, “Sica?” Taeyeon got another surprise because Jessica is asleep on the floor, while her hand holds her

Taeyeon caresses Jessica’s hair, which makes the younger one grunted but back to sleep. Taeyeon can’t help but chuckle after seeing this. She carefully takes Jessica’s body into her arms and brings her to the bedroom

“Tae?” Jessica groggily called Taeyeon when her back touches the mattress

“Oh, you wake up,” Taeyeon smiled, “You sound so tired,” Taeyeon leans closer to pecks Jessica’s forehead lovingly

Jessica cups Taeyeon’s face with her hands, making Taeyeon’s eyes locking at hers. She stays for a minute before Taeyeon raise one of her eyebrows signing that she’s asking about Jessica’s action

“Why did you cry?” Jessica asked

“I’m not…”

Jessica released her hold and closed her eyes. Her lips are trembling due to anger

“I saw your tears stain, and now you are lying to me?”

“Sica…” Taeyeon wants to touch Jessica’s cheek, but the latter swayed her hand. Jessica turned her head aside and started to cry

“Sica, why…” Taeyeon moves herself to Jessica’s side and hugs the latter from behind, “Sica…”

“You didn’t reply my text the whole day, and now you said you do not cry even I saw the stains,” Jessica sobbed

“Sica…” Taeyeon tightens her hug, “I…”

“What happened, Taeyeon?”

“I…, I lost my confidence.”

“Huh?”

“I lost my confidence to make you happy…”

Jessica stunned upon Taeyeon’s words. Was her girlfriend lost her confidence? But why?

“Why…?” Jessica asked

“I don’t know… Seeing you and your family, can I make it? Can I make you happy like you are with your family?”

Jessica turned her body to face Taeyeon. She also speechless

Taeyeon has no idea about the next words, which should come out from her own mouth. Seeing Jessica tearing up in front of her, her heart hurt. Moreover, she’s the reason why Jessica chocked on her tears is her

“Don’t leave me, please don’t leave me,” said Jessica in the middle of her tears, “Don’t leave me.”

“I would never, Sica,” Taeyeon leans to pecks Jessica’s head again. She pulled Jessica into her embrace and caressed her hair, “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t go…”

“I’m not going anywhere,”

“Please,”

“I love you, Sica.”

Jessica went to her first trial with a messy heart, swollen eyes, and a throaty voice. She never expected that she would cry all night

“Are you okay?” Minhyun, Jessica’s first assistant, asked.
