The Silent Coffee Prince“That’ll be $3.25,” the cashier cheerfully informed the tall, sleepy boy. The customer nodded, fishing those long fingers into deep pockets for the remainder of the change, just like always.
Today—no beanie, though. Donghae smiled wide, beaming at the fluffy chocolate-colored locks slightly hidden by his hoodie’s hood. He was so happy that he noticed things—now he could appreciate those shining, pretty locks, too.
The customer handed over the change to Donghae, who thanked him, and turned to the register to enter the amount.
“No snacks today?” the cashier asked the boy politely, who took a second to reply. He blinked bleary eyes back, slowly digesting the words as the receipt of sale was handed to him for the coffee.
“Mm, no,” he mumbled back to the brunette. “Not today.” He took the coffee in hand, making to turn to the exit, finished with this strenuous conversation already.
