It was one afternoon in Art Room 6 of the Art Department. The warm sunlight hardly entered the room due to the thin fabric curtains after the big window, wherein a young lady stood by, staring blankly at her artwork.

Son Naeun had been daydreaming a lot these days.

“should we get to know each other more, Lee Taemin-ssi?”

Recalling her own words even sent goosebumps to her skin. Was she out of her mind? Saying that was really not her. Was she posessed? Who was that?

Why did I say that?

But thinking through about it again and again wouldn’t change anything. It had been two days since that occasion and of course, nothing happened ever since.

“Taemin-ssi probably thinks I’m a typical girl pushing herself on him now. Just great, Son Babo,” she murmured.

After a while, she decided to finally end her daydream and started packing up her stuffs. Naeun had just taken off her apron when she found one used brush lying on the floor. She sighed at her carelessness and bent down to take it, when she heard someone entering the room. Her eyes widened at the figure.

Is this real?

Lee Taemin was there standing before her, with a smile on his face.

“Hello.”

It took Naeun a blink to respond, “H-Hi... What brings you here?”

“Um.., I feel bad for leaving you on the other day...”

“Ah...”

That happened. Even before Taemin could finish his coffee, he got an urgent call regarding his upcoming dance competition. It ended their first meeting just like that. But for Naeun, it’s not just like that. They didn’t even bring up their “getting to know each other” plan after it left Naeun’s mouth. That made Naeun felt miserable to say it in the first place.

“I think it’s impolite of me, leaving before we could talk much,” Naeun could only nod, he’s being polite. “So, would you mind giving me a chance to make it up?” He continued, “I said ‘I’d love to’, remember? I mean it. I want to know you more.”

Naeun’s eyes widened. He doesn’t despise me?

Taemin noticed Naeun’s expression change as he frowned, “ah, sorry if I make you uncomfortable. I mean I want to know more about Son Naeun-ssi personally. Umm, you may take it as friends,” he glanced down. “I have no ill intentions. Please don’t misunderstand.” he said sheepishly.

He’s flustered. The thought brought her a relief that she smiled unknowingly and later said, “I’m not uncomfortable at all.”
