*KNOCK KNOCK*

Jongin turned his head to the door of their practice room.

“Any of you expecting someone?” He threw a questioning look at his team but walked towards the door anyway. Jimin and Moonkyu who looked as confused as him shrugged, while Taemin raised his eyebrows.

As he totally didn’t expect the girl behind the door, Jongin gasped out loud, “Gosh. Oh, it’s you.”

Slightly flustered, he opened the door wider, “Come in.”

As the girl entered the room, Taemin’s face lit up and he exclaimed happily, “Naeun-ah!”

Naeun spotted him immediately, a beam expanded on her face but it faded a second later as she noticed a clear difference on him.

His hair...

His voice called her back, “You came!”

Brushed off her thoughts, Naeun chuckled at the happy puppy. “Annyeong.” She nodded shyly to the other guys beside him, they responded with the same gesture.

Still smiling ear to ear, Taemin patted the empty space beside him, “Here, sit down.”

Naeun smiled at his caring act, she approached him while stealing glances at his new appearance.

After making sure Naeun sat down comfortably, Taemin spoke up, “Ah. Naeun-ah, this is the first time you meet Moonkyu, right?”

Jongin butted in, “Actually, I haven’t properly introduced myself to her either.”

Taemin furrowed his eyebrows, “Really?”

“Yeah, but I feel like knowing her already since you keep talking about her aaall the time~”

Taemin slapped Jongin’s thigh. “Ya!”

“That’s the truth!” Jongin stuck out his tongue.

The guys laughed out loud enjoying the besties’ fight. “Boo, Lee Taemin is busted!” Moonkyu shouted while Jimin laughed louder, provoking the fight to expand. They ended up wrestling with each other making a weird formation. Naeun couldn’t help but laughing.

Hearing Naeun’s laugh, Taemin got up and scratched the back of his neck shyly, “Sorry.”

Naeun grinned, “Aniyo. I should be the one saying sorry for disturbing your practice.”

“No worries, we’re taking a break anyway,” Jimin said. “Please knock some sense into that hyung for us. He’s been unable to focus.” He eyed Taemin teasingly before standing up, Moonkyu followed him and dragged Jongin along. “Kaja.”

“Ten minutes, Taem!” Jongin said jokingly.

Taemin laughed, those brats were really considerate sometimes. “Eo!”

As the trio left the room, Naeun heaved a sigh she was holding. Taemin chuckled, “You feel uncomfortable don’t you? Sorry.”

Naeun quickly waved her hands, “Aniyo. I’m just... not familiar with them yet.”

Taemin grinned. She’s saying she feels comfortable around him, right?

Naeun glanced at him shyly, “Oppa, your hair...”

Taemin touched his hair, “Black? Yeah, I dyed it yesterday.”

She nodded slightly, “Ah, I see...” She bit her lip.

Taemin raised one of his eyebrows, “What were you trying to say?” He titled his head to her side, “Finish your words, miss.”

Naeun pouted, “Don’t make fun of me.”

He chuckled, “You’re so cute, you know that?”

She blushed, eyes widened. “That’s unfair. How do you talk so smoothly?”

“What? Smooth??” Taemin laughed hard. Too cute!

He stopped his laugh and smiled gently at her, “Then you should say what you want to say.” He propped his tilted head on his knee. “Tell me.”

Naeun looked forward, avoiding his gaze. “Geunyang... Y-you look good.”

Taemin pursed his lips and shrugged, nodded few times, “I was hoping you say I’m hot or something, but okay, pass!”

Naeun laughed at his words, hitting his arm, “What are you even saying!”

The next moment, she comfortably told him about her encounter with Soojung the other day and how they made friends.

“Whoa jeongmalyo? That’s great! Hey don’t you think your social skill has improved?”

Naeun pouted, “As if. It’s all thanks to Soojung’s friendly personality.”

“Anigeodeun (No it’s not), Soojung doesn’t behave that way to just anyone. She's an ice queen.”

As Naeun furrowed her eyebrows, Taemin continued, “You saw her arguing with the man? That, that’s how she normally is.” He pointed his index finger, emphasizing the statement.
