Prologue:

“Enough Tasanee!” Your father sent you a harsh glare, “no more music. It’s a waste of time for a young clever girl as you.”

“But daddy-” you tried again, trying to hold your tears back.

Music was your life! When you were down you always found your guitar and sneaked to away to play a lonely place. Always! When you were happy, you sang and danced around. When you felt alone you practiced making your own songs.

But your dad had found out. And he got mad. Really mad. He took your guitar and destroyed it against the marble-table outside your house. At the moment, the maids were cleaning up the mess. He had also burnt all your music papers and taken your CDs. He took away everything.

“I said enough! From tomorrow on you’re starting your new life at the lawyer-studies in Bangkok and in a handful of years you’ll be a successful woman and thank me for helping you away from that dirty world.” He was talking in a voice you didn’t dare to answer back at. You just bowed your head and looked at your feet.

“Yes daddy…”
