Boyfriend?

You just finished shopping with Wonwoo and now you two were headed to your apartment. The entire time you were at the shopping district, looking for some practical but stylish clothes to wear for an interview, it strangely felt… perfectly normal between you two.

After everything that happened these past few months, you two were exactly the same. You two were the same from when before you confessed, when before you had feelings for him even. It was as if the little rift in your friendship never even happened and you were the exact same best friends that you have been all these years. You seemed to just picked up where you left off.

You laughed like absolute lunatics, finding the smallest of things amusing and talked nonstop during the ride home. You two caught up with each other’s lives, Wonwoo’s ballads softly playing in the background. It was weird almost how normal you two were but at the same time, it was moving and kind of impressive.

Wonwoo was chuckling, scrunching his nose because of how amused he was by something you said. It was such a small gesture but it was so purely Wonwoo that your heart exploded at the sight of it. He was back. The Wonwoo that you knew and fell for was back. You sighed silently in content, a faint and loving smile pulling at your lips.

It was nice seeing him smile and laugh like this, genuine and breathtaking. It was nice seeing the sparkle back in his eyes. He overall just looked so happy and knowing you were reason behind it only made things better. You were sitting quietly in the passenger seat, your body facing him as you shamelessly stare at his side profile.

The longer you stared, the more your lips tugged into a soft smile. Wonwoo was stealing glances at you while he was driving and seeing that you’re already staring only made his grin grow wider. You loved it. You love him. So much more than you could ever know.

You continued to just stare at him, watching his movements and tracing his side profile with your eyes, a dreamy, love-struck look plastered on your face. You were lost in his beauty, so lost that it kind of startled you when you suddenly heard him chuckle. He turned to you so quickly that you ended up holding your breath when your eyes actually met.

“So, are you just gonna keep staring at me or are you going to get down?” He so smugly told you. His head was tilted off to the side, a small smirk playing on his lips. You blinked several times to snap yourself out of it, quickly looking away to glance out the window.  You awkwardly coughed as you opened the car door. “I-I knew we were already here…” you mumbled when you got out.

Wonwoo only shook his head in an endearing manner and got down as well. He took out the food you bought for dinner and your new clothes from the back seat. When he walked around the car to join you, you held your hand out to help him with the bags but instead, Wonwoo transferred some of them to his other hand and took your hand in his.

He laced your fingers together with a knee weakening smile flashed your way and pulled at your hand gently to urge you to walk. Your cheeks were burning. That wasn’t what you meant to happen but it was such a smooth move from Wonwoo that your heart just rammed too hard against your chest and shot blood up your cheeks way too fast.

He wore a tiny grin on his face, knowing full well that you were a nice shade of pink just because of that. It was only when you were inside your apartment that he let go of your hand. He walked in first after toeing his shoes off, setting your new clothes on the coffee table before going into the kitchen to take your food out.

While he was doing all that, you took his shoes as well as yours and placed them neatly onto your shoe rack. You then took your bags of clothing from the coffee table to transfer them to your room and quickly went to the kitchen to help Wonwoo out with the food.

You grabbed a bag, sliding it towards you as you said, “Let me help.” You were about to open it up but Wonwoo stopped you and shook his head. “It’s alright. Just sit down.” You pouted at that but you didn’t protest. You just did as you were told, walking around the counter to sit on a stool. He smiled at you fondly for a moment just before continuing to take out your food.

Once he was done, he sat right next to you and the both of you started to eat.  You ate in comfortable silence. It was evident that both of you were hungry because you two would normal take ages to finish and would talk in between but right now, you were basically ignoring each other for the time being, focusing on your food.

You were just about to finish when Wonwoo finally paused for a second and turned to you. You were chewing rather seriously, eyeing that one wonton inside the take out box and wondering if you should leave it for him or just take it for yourself. Both your cheeks were puffed up with food, making you look like a little chipmunk with nuts in its mouth.

You were so adorable that Wonwoo couldn’t help but chuckle at you in both amusement and affection. A smile broke into his lips in the middle of chewing. You didn’t notice though as you were still very much battling with yourself over that wonton.

The guy rolled his eyes good-naturedly. He reached over to take it so you finally took your eyes off it and turned to you look at him. You thought he was going to eat it but then he placed it in front of your mouth. “Open up,” he said softly, sweetly. Your face light up almost immediately. You happily opened your mouth for him and smiled as you chewed on the last wonton.

You were being too endearing for him to handle. He just kept shaking his head and chuckling in pure fondness. He was already full but now that butterflies were dancing inside his stomach because of you, he felt even fuller. He just stared at you as you continued to eat, instinctively brushing loose tendrils of hair behind your ear so it wouldn’t get in your food.

As you finished, you smiled up at him and proudly showed him your empty takeout box. “All done!” you innocently beamed, laughing a little. Wonwoo’s heart went haywire. How could you be this adorable? This stunning despite your cheeks still full of food?

He couldn’t help himself. He was laughing, leaning in to give you a kiss on your pouty lips but you swiftly dodge it. “What are you doing?” you asked, narrowing your eyes suspiciously at him and chuckling a little. Wonwoo raised an eyebrow you, chuckling as well. He pouted. “What? I can’t kiss my own girlfriend?”

He leaned in again to try and kiss you but this time, you pushed his face away and got up to throw away your trash. You laughed at his ridiculously adorable pout when you did that. “What are you saying, Jeon Wonwoo? Did I ever agree to be your girlfriend? Huh?” you teased as you threw the take out box away.

He blinked at you, now confused. “Wait… What? What do you mean?” He pouted at you yet again and you giggled. You briefly shrugged your shoulders, grinning cheekily before turning around to wash your hands. “I didn’t agree to be your girlfriend, Wonwoo.” The boy’s shoulders deflated almost instantly. He frowned. “I thought it’d be a given that you’d agree…” he mumbled to himself, letting out a soft sigh.

“Alright then. How do I make you my girlfriend?” He flashed you such a confident smile that you couldn’t stop yourself from rolling your eyes at him, though jokingly. You wiped your wet hands on a kitchen towel and leaned against the sink, screwing your lips as you pretended to think about your answer.

“Hmm…” you hummed, tapping your chin. “I don’t know? Maybe… take me out on a couple of dates first before officially asking me? Convince me that you really do want me to be your girlfriend.” Wonwoo narrowed his eyes at you mischievously and leaned against the counter with his elbows. “So you want me to woo you, is that it?” You bit your lower lip to hide your smile and nodded timidly in response.

To be his girlfriend is something you’ve always just dreamed about. You’ve always really wanted it and now he was more than willing to give it to you but you just felt like it shouldn’t come this easily. You guess you just needed some assurance. He didn’t even exactly tell you about his feelings for you after all. You still had your doubts… Your heart still had what if’s in it.

You were scared that if you dove in too quickly, it just might ruin things for good. You two grew silent for a moment. You were both just staring at each other, your eyes shifting from one orb to another. You can tell he has something on his mind. You can see the gears inside his head turning as he looked at you but you weren’t exactly sure what he was thinking about.

You don’t know why but the longer the silence dragged on, the more your heartbeat started to pick up its pace. It was nerve wracking. You don’t know why you were so scared. “Done!” he finally spoke, breaking the silence. He smiled softly and stood up. “My name isn’t Wonwoo for nothing,” he so haughtily said as he strutted over to you.

He even winked, making you cringe and mentally face palm. He laughed a nose scrunching and low laugh at that reaction of yours, slowly resting his hands on the sink behind you, caging you between his arms. You shook your head at him but you ended up caving in and bursting in a fit of giggles when he wiggled his eyebrows at you.

You hit his chest lightly. “I’ll pretend I never heard that.” He just shrugged and attempted to lean in. You thought he was going to try kissing you on the lips again so you readied yourself to dodge it, but then you felt his soft lips land on your forehead instead.

You felt goosebumps run up your arms almost immediately. Your chest burst in warmth, spreading its way throughout your entire body. You exhaled slowly as he pressed his lips a little harder on your forehead. You placed your hands on his chest carefully, feeling his wild heartbeat beneath your palms.

You closed your eyes shut in utter bliss. You felt like melting. His lips lingered on your forehead for a moment but gradually, you felt him smile against your skin. Slowly, almost tentatively, he finally pulled away. In the same manner, you opened your eyes and found him staring at you.

You let out a soft gasp before swallowing and feeling your face heat up. You honestly used to be so good at keeping your reactions towards the things he does to you at bay but now, since he finally and actually knows that you have feelings for him, it was getting near damn impossible to keep inside. It has become too easy, way too easy for you to show him what he can actually do to you and how he can affect you.

He tucked your hair behind your ear and cupped your cheek gently, his thumb rubbing comforting circles on your smooth skin. “That was okay… right?” There was a little bit of apprehension in his voice, making you melt even more because of how sweet you found that little question to be. To reassure him, you nodded your head and smiled at him warmly.

He returned your warm smile, humming in thought as he combed his fingers through your hair. “What about…” he trailed off just before holding your chin and turning your head slightly to kiss your cheek. “Here?”  You bit hard on your lower lip to stop yourself from grinning. Your arms seemed to have a mind of their own. They s themselves around his neck and pulled him a tiny bit closer to you.

Wonwoo just chuckled. “Or… here?” he whispered, this time pecking your nose. You embarrassingly giggled like a school girl and hit him lightly. “Wonwoo, stop.” He scrunched his nose and softly knocked your foreheads together. “Just making sure,” he muttered back with that heart stopping smile of his.

Eventually, you two fell silent just getting lost in each other’s eyes with your arms still around his neck and his hands on resting on your hips. You were playing with the hair on his nape when he suddenly broke the silence to ask, “I can kiss you anywhere except for your lips, right?” You simply nodded in response.

“So it’s okay if I kiss you…” He looked down between your bodies for a brief moment, confusing you. When he looked back up, he had this dark, suggestive look in his eyes and he was smirking. You merely blinked at him but when it all started to click inside your head, your eyes slightly widened.

You didn’t think twice about punching his shoulder, shooting him an intimidating glare before slipping out of his hold. “ert!” you accused. He was laughing while whimpering at the same time, rubbing at his shoulder. “I was only joking! Sheesh.”

You just rolled your eyes and told him to just help you clean up in an annoyed manner.  “C’mon! You still have to drive back home since it’s getting late,” you added. He frowned, stacking up the empty take out boxes. “My place is literally like 20 minutes away… But, do I have to go? Can’t I just sleep here tonight?” he whined.

Your brows furrowed as you wiped down your kitchen counter. “No, Wonwoo,” you firmly said with a shake of your head. “Why not?” He pouted and you paused. Honestly, you don’t know either. So what if he sleeps over? It’s not like this’ll be his first time sleeping here.

He most definitely has multiple times already but… maybe you were scared this time? Because what if… What if you end up doing something that you’ll regret? What if, at the heat of the moment, something happens between you two again? Something that’s not supposed to?

You heaved a deep sigh, finishing up your cleaning. “You have class at like 8 in the morning tomorrow and mine is still in the afternoon,” you so lamely reasoned out. You went out of the kitchen and headed into the living room with Wonwoo tailing behind you, his brows in a furrow. “So? I’m not going to bother you in the morning, I promise!”

You turned to him with your arms crossed. “You can’t cook for , Jeon Wonwoo! How are you going to make breakfast if I don’t wake up early too?” He looked at you weirdly. That really isn’t much of a problem. You didn’t have to do that for him anyway. He just wanted to be with you much longer. “Then I won’t eat breakfast?” You shook your head. “No. You know your stomach is—”

“I’ll eat outside then!” Wonwoo quickly butted in seeing as you won’t back down. You opened your mouth to counter back but then you closed it back up. Instead, you let out a small sigh.  You know for sure you have no excuses left for him not to stay.

With your lips pressed in a thin line and your arms tightly crossed in front of your chest, you watched as the pleading on Wonwoo’s face began to fade and was replaced by a triumphant smile. You were about to try and reason out with him again but then he held his head and went, “Ah! Ouch!” Your eyes rounded in panic.

You rushed over to him and held his face in your hands. “What’s wrong? Are you okay?!” Wonwoo peeked at your worried face with one eye, making sure you were convinced before he continued to act. He whimpered for effect before mumbling, “Ahh… my head suddenly hurts.” He then walked straight into your room, still holding his head and whining.

“I feel so dizzy! I need to rest ASAP.” Just then, he plopped onto your bed and reached out for a pillow. He buried his face into, smiling to himself because it smelled just like you. All you could do was stand by the doorway and give him a deadpanned look. You couldn’t believe this guy. Does he really want to sleep over this bad?

As you were shaking your head at his antics, he turned to look at you with a boyish grin. He was already so comfortable on your bed. You had no choice now. You rolled your eyes at him and sighed. “Fine. Whatever. I’ll just go take a shower real quick.” With that, you heard him mumbled out a thank you into your pillow. He slowly closed his eyes, a warm smile stretching on his lips.

You rolled your eyes again but this time, affectionately just before disappearing into your bathroom to shower. When you were finished, you walked in to Wonwoo half way through falling asleep. You chuckled quietly at the precious sight of him nodding off. When he noticed that you were already done, he adorably forced his eyes open and got up to take his turn.

You were already in your signature huge worn in t-shirt that he’s sure is probably his. He smiled fondly at you as he snatched your towel to use it. “Hey! No, Wonwoo use a new—” You weren’t able to finish what you were saying because the guy suddenly pulled you in to kiss your forehead. “So beautiful…” he mumbled against your skin just before walking into the bathroom.

You became still like a statue, just standing there and staring at the bathroom door after that fleeting moment. You could hear the shower running but even louder than that is fast beating of your heart. Dear god, Wonwoo will be the death of you. He really doesn’t know what he’s capable of doing to you and your heart.

You took in a deep, long breath to calm your heart down and shook your head to pull yourself together. Finally, you moved and walked to your bed. As he was showering, you busied yourself with your skincare routine for the night to prepare for bed. A few minutes after you finished, he was finally out of the shower. You were already lying on your bed, lazily scrolling through your phone.

He walked straight to your closet, a grin almost immediately appearing on his face when he saw his little pile of clothing still there. He just comes to your apartment so often that he purposefully leaves some of his clothes here just in case. Despite having a few shirts and a pair of comfy jogging pants there, he only took out a fresh pair of boxers, put it on and he was all good.

He quickly hung up your towel in your bathroom then jogged to your bed and plopped himself beside you. He wiggled around until he found a comfortable position which is really him having his arms around your waist, his head nestled on your chest and his leg hooked on both of yours. He in a breath, taking in your scent that he loved just as much as he loved you.

He smiled wistfully as he tightened his arms around you, longingly saying, “Ah, I miss this. I miss you.” The moment he cuddle up next to you, you immediately played with his hair on reflex but hearing him say that made you pause for a moment.

You didn’t expect for him to randomly say that. It made you feel foolishly soft and mushy in the inside. You chuckled, locking your phone to put it aside. “I miss you too, Won,” you replied softly, wrapping arms around his shoulders. You buried your nose in his hair and couldn’t help but laugh because he now smells just like you.

For a long while, there was silence between the both of you, a calm, comfortable silence draping over you like a thick and cozy blanket. Wonwoo didn’t seem like he was moving anymore so you assumed that he was asleep. You, on the other hand, just stared up at the ceiling. You were still playing with his hair, combing your fingers through it and even caressing his cheek ever now and then.

Being able to do that, being as affectionate as you possibly can even in these tiny little gestures without worrying if he might take it the wrong way felt so liberating, relieving even. It made your heart swell and you just want to shower him with so much more.

In the middle of you brushing your thumb against his cheek and getting lost in your thoughts, Wonwoo looked up to stare at you. “Oh? I thought you were asleep already?” He didn’t say anything. He just stared at you and let his eyes flit across your features. Slowly, his gaze traveled down lower to your neck.

You swallowed. You didn’t know what was on his mind right now. It kind of made you nervous why he was so suddenly staring at your neck like this. He’s not getting any ideas, is he? You were unknowingly holding your breath, waiting for what’s to happen next and only letting it go when he looked back up into your eyes.

He had a cheeky grin on his face when he said, “Remember when we ed for like a week straight because I was so stressed out in school? And I covered your neck and chest with bite marks and hickeys?” You were taken aback by that, momentarily feeling your cheeks warm up before chuckling and going, “How could I ing forget?”

You looked away to stare up the ceiling again, laughing at the memory. “We had to have lunch with your parents the next day and they were wondering why the hell I was wearing such a thick turtle neck in the middle of Spring! Not to mention me having to spend a fortune on concealers to cover it all up.”  Now it was Wonwoo’s turn to laugh.

He moved away from you to lying down on his stomach, his elbows propping him up as he looked down at you. “Oh, shut up! You got me kicked out of my old apartment remember? The neighbors were complaining about the loud ?” You quickly shook your head.

Not as bad as you ing breaking my bed!” you said in between your laughter.  “And you didn’t even get kicked out. You moved out because you were too embarrassed,” you pointed out, making Wonwoo glare jokingly at you. “Okay, fine. But I bought you this one which is much bigger and way more comfortable that your old one!”

You two just kept talking like that, reminiscing and not having a single care about what time it was or how your much topics jumped from here to there. You muffled your laughs with pillows or even your own hands, afraid that you were going to disturb your sleeping neighbors. Your voices gradually got softer too until you were just whispering into each other’s ears.

There was a lull in the conversation all of a sudden. You were rubbing at Wonwoo’s bare chest mindlessly, feeling yourself get sleepy when you noticed there was an elongated bumped somewhere on his chest. You fought with your sleep, lifting your head up from his bicep to look at that weird bump you felt. It was a scar.

You’ve seen it multiple times before consider how your relationship was but you never really mentioned it to him before. You were curious but you chose not to ask about since he didn’t initiate on talking about it either. Wonwoo was getting very sleepy too but he noticed that you were repeatedly touching his scar so he opened his eyes, humming.

“What is it?” he murmured as if he knew you had a question in your head that you wanted to ask. You shifted slightly to look at up him, your faces millimeters apart. “I never asked this before but I’ve always been curious.” You paused for a moment to touch the scar again before continuing and saying, “What happened to this?”

Wonwoo tucked his hand under his head, chuckling sleepily. He took your hand that was on his chest and pressed a light kiss on your fingers. “It’s not that much of story. I was just really curious as a kid… and also really clumsy.” You both chuckled at that before he continued on with his story.

“I saw this nest up on the tree that was in our backyard. I wanted to see if there were eggs up there so I climbed up.” You looked up at him, listening intently while he looked up at the ceiling and drew circles on your shoulder. “It was much higher than I thought and when I looked down, I kind of got scared. I lost balance somehow so I fell.”

He chuckled to himself, imagining that very moment in his head. He said he thought he was going to die when he fell. The scar was because of a branch but more than that, he had bruises as well and dislocated his shoulder from the fall. You winced, just imagining a younger Wonwoo suffer like that. You felt so bad for him and unknowingly hugged him tighter as a form of comfort.

He only scrunched his nose at you, quickly shifting to face you. “What about you? You have a scar somewhere on your thigh too. Where is that from?” He looked down at your leg but he didn’t touch you there out of respect.

Your scar was a little high up your thigh and you were only in your underwear after all. He probably didn’t want you to think he was taking advantage or anything. You smiled proudly at that. You stared at him and couldn’t help but chuckle because he just seemed so excited to know about the back story.

For the rest of the night, you two ended up exploring each other’s bodies in the most innocent way possible. You talked about your scars and looked for moles and birthmarks. You’re not sure when exactly you fell asleep but it must’ve been very, very late because in what only seemed like a minute of you two closing your eyes, his alarm went off.

You both groaned, him reaching over to your nightstand to shut his phone up while you shifted to lie down on your other side. You were so sleepy still. Getting up and cooking for him is the last thing on your mind right now. Wonwoo checked the time on his phone with one eye open and set it back down immediately.

He scooted his way closer to you, wrapping his arms around waist as he closed his eyes again. You were about to drift back into sleep but you forced your eyes to open when you noticed that Wonwoo hasn’t gotten up yet.  You turned around to face him, his arms still around you. “Hey…” you murmured, your voice hoarse with sleep.

“Wonwoo, wake up. You have to get ready or you’ll be late.” He mumbled incoherent words and just pulled you closer to him, rubbing his nose against yours. You immediately broke into a smile. You rubbed at his back telling him, “C’mon, now. Get up.” Your voice was too sweet and soothing. It didn’t really help that you were rubbing his back too. He didn’t want to get up at all now. He wanted to stay.

You kept convincing him but he was very stubborn. You just sighed. You told him you’ll give him 5 minutes more but afterwards, he really needs to get up. Wonwoo whined. “Screw it! I’m staying here. I don’t want to go to uni.” You laughed, slowly pulling him away from you. “Won, you can’t just miss uni because you want to sleep in! C’mon, I’ll get up too.”

You were about to sit up already but Wonwoo pulled you back down and wrapped his arms tightly around you, restricting your movements. “No, baby. Let’s just stay here and sleep. It’s fine if I miss one day.” You tried to ignore the fast beating of your heart when he called you baby with his deep morning voice and raised your eyebrow at him. “Who’re you calling baby? C’mon, Jeon Wonwoo!”

You tried. You really did but Wonwoo really had his mind made and wouldn’t budge at whatever you did to convince him to get out of bed. In the end, you just gave up. You let him have his way and sleep in more. You knew he was still very tired anyway since the both of you basically stayed up all night talking about the most random things.

You were too so it wasn’t hard for you to fall back asleep as well. You two were all cuddled up, warm and beyond comfortable in each other’s arms. So much so that even you missed your own class in the afternoon. When you two were well rested and ready, you finally decided to get out of bed.

You were both starving from skipping two meals and were now in your living room eating to your hearts’ content. You two hadn’t even showered yet. He was still only in his boxers while you were also still in his old t-shirt. You were both intently watching a series on Netflix, eating when he suddenly said, “I’m still sleeping here tonight, okay?”

You peeled your eyes away from the TV screen just to furrow your brows at him, a look of disapproval plastered on your face. Before you could even open your mouth to say something, he quickly said, “I want to be with you more! Please? Please, please?” He pouted at you and even hugged your arm to beg.

Oh god, you’re way too weak. How could you say no to him when he’s like this? When he’s being this adorable? “Fine! Okay, okay!” you muttered, feigning annoyance despite the smile that was fighting to stretch at your lips.

Wonwoo grinned up excitedly at you and pulled you into a huge bear hug. He kissed the top of your head, repeatedly saying his thanks. A bubbling giggle escaped from your lips. “Since when did you get so clingy?” you wondered out loud when he finally let you go.

You weren’t really expecting a reply since it was an aimless question anyway but when he actually did reply to you, your heart skipped a beat. “Ever since I fell in love with you.” You paused from feeding yourself and slowly turned to look at him. He was staring at you with his eyes sparkling, dancing at the sight of your slightly flustered face.

“As your best friend, I wanted to spend a lot of time with you too but now that I realized what I truly feel for you… I want more. I want to spend all the hours, all the minutes, all the seconds of my day with you. I want to be with you and nobody else. We don’t even have to do anything special. This is enough,” he finished off gesturing between the both of you right now, bowls of jajangmyeon in your hands.

“Even if we’re just eating and watching Netflix in our underwear. It’s more than enough as long as you’re with me.” You had to look away to hide your flushed face. Actually, even your ear felt hot. You were caught way off guard by what he was saying. Where did that even come from? Where did all these sweet, heart fluttering words come from? Your heart was going wild inside your ribcage.

You were at a complete loss of words and you were so dumbly opening and closing your mouth like fish. You heard Wonwoo chuckling as he put both your bowls down. He scooted closer to you pulled you in for a hug yet again, one arm around your shoulders, the other cradling your head gently.

He tucked your head at the crook of his neck with his huge hand and rubbed his cheek against your hair. You slowly wrapped your arms around his waist, melting into him as you closed your eyes in content. You two stayed like that for a while but eventually, he pulled away from you. He was still very close to you though, cupping your cheeks and searched your eyes.

“I don’t know if it’s too soon to say this but…” he started, looking so deep into your eyes you felt shy. “I love you.” You can see it in his eyes how much he meant those words. You could hear and feel his pure sincerity. Your heart wanted to just burst right then and there in utter bliss. You felt your tears stinging your eyes just then so you slowly took his hands off of your face.

“Wonwoo…” you started, trying hard to hold back your tears. “You didn’t have to say all that, you know? I have such a soft spot for you that I’d agree either way,” you continued to say in between tiny chuckles, still trying to keep your tears at bay. Wonwoo rubbed comforting circles at the back of your hand. He knew that you were at the verge of crying. He can see your eyes glistening with unshed tears.

“I know,” he laughed. “I just wanted to let you know.” With that, he caressed your cheeks with the back of fingers before cupping your cheeks again. He pressed a soft kiss on your forehead then your nose. You held your breath when you thought he was going to kiss your lips.

He still didn’t do it though, merely pausing, the two of you breathing each other in. He was still so close and your foreheads were pressed against each other. Tiny giggles bubbled out of your mouth as you brought your hands up to grab hold his wrists. “I love you,” he cutely mumbled, rubbing his scrunched up nose against yours.
