[ One week before Hyomin left Seoul to study aboard]

It was one Saturday night at Jiyeon’s birthday party where most of all her close friends could make it eventually, including Hyomin and Eunjung, beside their circle of close friends, there were some of Jiyeon’s friends were invited to the party too. At a party a guy seemed to lay his eyes on Hyomin for a while, until he came into a view and introduced himself to her. Throughout the party, Eunjung was seated beside Hyomin, until Eunhyuk who wasn’t even trying to hide his gaze on her got a chance to sit with them and approached Hyomin

Eunjung appeared to be friendly and nice to him for he was Jiyeon’s friend, but nobody knew what she was thinking. A moment later, Eunjung excused herself but she didn’t go back after a while, so Hyomin started to worry about her and went to look for her

“Are you alright?” Hyomin found Eunjung sitting by a swimming pool all alone

“Yeah, I’m good” Eunjung was snapped out of her train of thought once Hyomin spoke up

“You weren’t going back so I thought I should check on you” Hyomin informed, concern was clear in her eyes

“The view is nice here, so I stop by” Eunjung came up an excuse of half truth

“I should join you here then” Hyomin sat herself down

“We can go back and join them, it’s not fun here” Eunjung suggested, acted weird

“Eunjung, tell me what’s wrong?” Hyomin couldn’t convince herself that Eunjung was fine, the aura around was changed, she looked cheerful a while back, but not now

“I’m just thinking about something” Eunjung, again, tried to smile for Hyomin, but her friend knew her better, Hyomin wasn’t going to buy it

“Should you talk it out? I’m all ears” Hyomin persuaded “ You’re not yourself”

“Nah, it’s really nothing” Eunjung denied then took a large sip of her drink, Hyomin was sure something was wrong.

“Eunjung, this isn’t fair” Hyomin sighed, unpleased.

“You have been there for me in my lowest days, you were a shoulder I cried on during my weakest moment, you gave me strength to make me rise back, and I couldn’t thanked you enough” Hyomin looked back on her tough time.

Eunjung kept silent because she didn’t know what to say or how to start, she was hesitant. The longer Eunjung became silent, the more frustrated Hyomin became.

“But look at you now, you barely open up to me when you clearly have something weighing you down, and keep it for yourself” Hyomin got upset

“That’s not truth, I’ve always confided to you” Eunjung contradicted, Hyomin shook her head

“Tell me about it, what kind of a best friend I am who didn’t even realize her best friend broke up with her boyfriend, not until a month later, which you know how much I felt bad for not being there for you Eunjung” Hyomin started

She never talked about this before as to avoid touching a fresh scar in Eunjung’s heart back then, but now she couldn’t hold it anymore for she felt so useless.

“Hyomin ah, let’s forget it, it was nothing, and all you need to know I’m happy now” Eunjung wasn’t lying when she said so, if there was something Hyomin didn’t know would be a fact that Eunjung wasn’t sad about her break-up, and she forgot to tell Hyomin first because back at that time Eunjung was busy focusing on cheering Hyomin up, and helped her to get back on her track.

The more Eunjung refused to talk, the more Hyomin was hit by unknown feeling of self-worthless

“See? you’re not going to tell me” Hyomin smiled bitterly, she then gulped down half of her drink at one

“Whoa, that’s going to knock you down” Eunjung was alarmed

“Why should I care?” Hyomin guzzled the remaining half in her glass in no time

“Yah, that’s not water” Eunjung warned, she shook her head in disapproval

“Stop caring about me if you’re not going to let me do the same for you” Hyomin was uncontrollably upset

“Don’t be like this Hyomin ah” Eunjung begged, trying to reach for her hand

“I’m here but there isn’t anything I can do for you” Hyomin started rambling, feeling helpless “You know what, sometimes I feel like I’m nothing to you” Hyomin said bitterly, although she knew it wasn’t true but she was too upset, and let her emotion get the best of her , plus alcohol didn’t make anything better.

“Don’t ever say that…again” Eunjung was struck by Hyomin’s word, she felt offended, she didn’t expect to hear it from a person she loved dearly.

“You have no idea how much you mean to me” Eunjung was shaken by her emotion, her voice was slowly rising

“Are you sure Eunjung, do I even matter to you anymore ? Hyomin regretted saying so but she wasn’t going to give in

"Of course you do, and because you mean too much to me that I couldn’t just say everything I wanted to say” Eunjung was hurt by Hyomin insulting her own place in Eunjung's heart.

“I couldn’t just tell you I liked you for I knew you might be confused, I couldn’t say I was jealous beacuse you were going to realize how I felt for you, I couldn’t ask you not to go out with them for I knew you were going to lose your chances of love, I couldn’t just tell you how much I loved you and longed for you because I knew you might give up on someone better just for me, and I couldn’t beg you to stay if going there is your dream and it’s going to make you happy… I couldn’t hold you back from something better or where you should belong so I chose to hold myself back” Eunjung paused “ That’s all because I love you too much Hyomin”

The truth that Hyomin didn’t expect to hear nor Eunjung ever thought she would confess, not at the right moment, found its way out. An overwhelming confession blew Hyomin’s mind away, she didn’t see it was coming, she was too stunned to react, none of them was willing the break the silence and let it engulfed them whole and once again, Hyomin found herself speechless, she couldn’t form word to say, while watching Eunjun walking away

“Why did it take you so long Eunjung?”

Hyomin felt her sight was blurring with her own tear

As Hyomin assumed, Eunjung didn’t show up at the airport to say goodbye to her, only Qri and Jiyeon dropped by to bid goodbye. Qri was complaining, because it wasn’t like every day your best friend hopped on a plane to go aboard for study, and it was unlikely she would come back home anytime soon. Jiyeon, on the other hand, tying to call Eunjung, hoping she would be late, but her phone calls were dropped. As time ticked by, Hyomin gave her friends hugs and was about to leave, she then remembered something. Hyomin asked Jiyeon to pass a letter to Eunjung which earned a questioning look from her younger friend, but Jiyeon chose to drop it, respecting Hyomin’s privacy.

Later on that evening, Jiyeon dropped by at Eunjung’s place to give her a letter, Jiyeon wanted to give her a scold, but dropping it after witnessing Eunjung’s face, she looked unusually sad, much to Jiyeon’s dislike, she saw piles of work, computer and beer cans on Eunjung’s table, it seemed to her that Eunjung intended to bury herself with work for some reasons. Jiyeon didn’t know what happened between the two, on her birthday party, she was so busy talking and drinking to notice when they left.

When Eunjung was all alone in her room, it was some time after Jiyeon left, and Eunjung was still holding a letter tight, contemplating whether to open it, she didn’t make any contact with Hyomin since the night she confessed, she wasn’t afraid of the answer or anything, she just avoided Hyomin to make it easier for her best friend, Hyomin should not change her plan because of her. Eunjung kissed on a letter before delicately opened it.

Hyomin’s Letter :

Dearest Eunjung,

It has been long since a last letter I wrote to you, back in our high school on our graduation day, and honestly, I don’t know how to start.

By the time you read this letter, I shall be on my way, out to reach my goal, something you trust that I can do. I know you keep saying this is just temporary and we will be apart for good, but I can’t help this feeling, it saddens me to think that I won’t be able to go to you anytime like I always do, and you won’t pop out of nowhere standing inside my house, also drinking or shopping wouldn’t be the same without you.

I don’t want to admit it but I miss you already, this whole week went by so slowly without hearing from you, but I know you’ve got your reason, like you always do, although sometimes I don’t like it but I have to respect you because respecting other is what you are serious about, and slowly implanting into me, it’s something I admire you for, among those million things I liked about you which I don’t think I have enough space to describe what are they, but all I ever knew, they were roots that planted something deeper in me as time went by, and by the time I realized it, I have grown to love you more than I could ever imagine and I would be lying if I didn’t convince myself at some point that you felt the same way too, but again my sense could be wrong so I was waiting until I couldn’t wait any longer.

I really had no idea how hard for you to see me with someone else, I guess it might be the same way I felt when you were dating someone too. It amazed me how we could unbelievably bear such bitter feeling for so long, perhaps it was part of growing up, we tried, we made mistake , we learned, and that’s who we’ve became, mature and accepting, but above all I learnt that crush would go away one day but love doesn’t.

I’m sorry if I couldn’t react on your confession sooner, but believ me when I say how much I was happy to hear it , I knew you didn’t want to listen to what I had to say at that time, however the fact that you walked away before I could speak, allowing me sometimes to look back on what we did and what we were going through, and I couldn’t be more confident …

Present 

Eunjung couldn’t come up with the best answer to satisfy herself as to why it took her so long to get where she is right now, where she belongs. Lying next to a person she has loved and always loves, seemingly likes a nothing new because Eunjung has grown familiar with sleeping over at Hyomin’s place on her bed, waking up next to her and watches her sleeping, but today she is greeted by a whole new different feeling she has never experienced before, Eunjung is waking up with a person she could actually call her “mine”, and it’s amazing just like that.

Hyomin is shifting on her bed, eyes closed, mumbling something Eunjung can’t comprehend but smiles anyway, she fixes a blanket to cover Hyomin’s bare shoulder possessively, then bending over to give her a kiss on her forehead, long and lovingly as how much she missed her, and needless to worry that she might get caught, because there is nothing left to hide anymore. That what makes going from friends to lovers way much better for them , Hyomin and Eunjung are free to genuinely express their feeling, affection and intimacy toward one another without holding it back anymore.

While they are taking their friendship to the next level, a status which could be titled, the two hearts are willing to work on this relationship, however with some degree of love, understanding and respect, they have always had for each other, they don’t have to try so hard nor change who they are to please one another, they can still be themselves and effortlessly fall for each other over and over, they could never be happier.

“You didn’t wake me up” Hyomin complains as she walks out of her bedroom to find Eunjung is making them pancakes

“You look tired, and there is no need to get up early, it’s holiday anyway” Eunjung flips a pancake

“Why are you up so early then, it’s more like your holiday here?” Hyomin walks closer to Eunjung

“I guess my body clock is still confused” Eunjung reasons, Hyomin finds herself ridiculously blushing at certain word.

“It smells yummy” Hyomin tries to get rid of pink hue on her cheek

“The least I’ve learnt from you” Eunjung states

“Can I try?” Hyomin asks

“Sure thing” Eunjung says

“Mm, very yummy” Hyomin takes a bite

“Thank you” Eunjung smiles, proud

They sit across each other on Hyomin’s kitchen counter serves as dining table, enjoying their simple breakfast, over their simple conversation until they hear a doorbell ringing, Hyomin gets up to answer the door where she is cheerfully welcoming her guest. Eunjung is introduced to a Korean woman named “Fei”, a new friend Hyomin met in this city. Fei seems to be surprised to see Hyomin is having a guest, she keeps her cool and passes flower to Hyomin

“Aw, that’s sweet, you don’t have to unnie” Hyomin smells the sweet scent of flower in her hand

“I happen to pass the same flower shop and think about you” Fei says, smiling

“Aw, thank you” Hyomin leads her to a sitting room

The interaction between Fei and Hyomin didn’t go unnoticed by Eunjung while they are seated in the sitting room, having a chit chat and Eunjung is warming up to Hyomin’s new friend.

“I didn’t know you have a guest, I was going to invite you out for brunch” Fei states her intention

“Eunjung just arrived yesterday” Hyomin tells

“Oh, all the way from Korea?” Fei initiates a casual conversation to include Eunjung in

“Yes, I came here to spend holiday with Hyomin” Eunjung answers politely

“What’s a great friend you are” Fei comments, Hyomin and Eunjung just smiles

“Do you want me to cook something for you since you’ve not eaten yet” Hyomin offers

“Don’t bother, I just dropped by to see if you would be free but I guess you are not now” Fei states, with a hint of disappointment

“I’m sorry unnie, I have to take this girl around , she spent a lot on her ticket, and it would be a waste if she just stayed in my apartment” Hyomin says, amused

“Understood, take your time girls, I can wait until later” Fei assures

“How about we grab a drink together later?” Eunjung proposes her idea, she feels bad for Fei

“Sounds cool” Fei is excited

Fei spent a little more time with them until she excused herself , Eunjung noticed a lingering stare Fei was giving Hyomin before she left , as if she had something to tell Hyomin, something important that they needed to be alone for a right moment.

“I haven’t heard about her, I mean Fei unnie” Eunjung has a side glance at Hyomin while the latter rummaging through her closet for something to wear for outing.

“We haven’t talked to each other much lately, have we?” Hyomin still keeps her focus on picking her outfit

“Ah, yeah you’re right” Eunjung hisses at the truth, during these six months away, they kept their contact at minimal, exchanging text message and chat for very casual conversation on daily basis, not a deep one they used to talk all night long.

Hyomin notices the silence; Eunjung seems to be in her deep thought.

“Well, I met Fei unnie around 3 months ago, at my friend’s party, she is a cousin of my classmate” Hyomin recalls “She was born in Korea, and her family moved here when she was 10” She adds

“Is she interested in you?” Eunjung ignores the detail parts and goes straight to her question

“What’s a straight forward question?” Hyomin smirks

“Yes or no?” Eunjung repeats her question

“Yes” Hyomin doesn’t need to lie

Hyomin walks closer to Eunjung, she smiles when she remembers a pink sweater she sent for the older one, didn’t expect to see her wearing it in front of her this soon

“It looks good on you” Hyomin fixes Eunjung’s hair, and moves it backward.

It may be a gentle touch, the sweet scent of her perfume, or even that warm stare, Eunjung starts to get possessive of them all.

“I love it, thank you” Eunjung shows her gratitude by panting a quick peck on Hyomin’s cheek, a person who gets attacked by sudden affection tries to hide her smile.

“And what did you say?” Eunjung is back to where they left, a question about Fei

“About? Hyomin momentarily forgets

“About Fei unnie” Eunjung goes straight to her point, Hyomin heaves a sigh

“She was quite clear, stating her intention but I told her I couldn’t be anything but friend, she accepted it but hoped one day I might change my mind” Hyomin reveals

Eunjung gulps a lump in , it’s not something she’s happy to hear, that’s why some said it’s better not to know something, but she couldn’t leave herself wondering.

“I’m not too late? Am I ?” Eunjung anticipates the answer

“It might take you longer but you’re not too late, we are never too late” Hyomin looks into Eunjung’s eyes , she means everything she said.

No one else Eunjung wants to embrace as much as a woman in front of her now, she couldn’t thank her enough for waiting for so long . All that is worth, and she knows they are worth it.

Popping up on Hyomin and Eunjung’s phone screens are non-stop notifications of a same group chat they both joined as members. Eunjung glances from her cup of coffee, while Hyomin holds it up to check

“What are so urgent?” Eunjung asks nonchalantly

“Nothing urgent they just get excited” Hyomin turns her phone to let Eunung take glimpse of the group

“I guess I know what it’s all about” Eunjung takes another sip of her coffee

“You’re so supposed to be the one replying them, you drop the bomb” Hyomin tells while she scrolls up to read all chat messages from all members

“I miss them” Hyomin says

“They miss you too” Eunjung smiles

Taeyeon : Everyone, did you see the latest post on Eunjung’s IG ?

Jessica: Wouldn’t it be easier if you screenshot for us?

Taeyeon: Oops ! Sorry love

Taeyeon: *Sent a photo*

Yoona: What’s on earth! Weren’t you with us at the party last night Eunjung?”

Jessica: Earth to Im Yoona, that was the night before, are you still drunk or something?

Yoona: Whatever, but how did you get there and why are you with Hyomin?

Qri: Thank you for asking that for me Yoona

Yoona: You’re welcome

Jiyeon: Yah Eunjung unnie, you didn’t tell us where you were going to spend the Christmas and we were all worried that you might be alone, you wasted my time, you’ll gonna pay for it !!

Qri: Well, it’s nice a photo though

Jessica: Hyomin ah, I almost forget how you look like, it has been a while since I’ve seen you posting anything but your face. I am complaining not, thanks to Eunjung.

Yoona: LOL

Jessica: It seems all members here have read the chat messages

Taeyeon: Good eyes, honey

Jiyeon: Come on, don’t make me fly all over to get you to speak up

Eunjung: Morning guys

Jessica: Um …..

Hyomin: Jessica ah, I’ll try to update more photos of my selfie, anyway I miss you

Jessica: Miss you too

Taeyeon: Seems like someone just posted a selfie just now

Jiyeon: Ahem , can't be any more obvious lol? 

Qri: Anyway, care to explain to us why you suddenly showed up there Hahm Eunjung

Jessica: None of us knew about this plan

Eunjung: To my defense, it’s a surprise visit, so what’s the point of surprising if many people know about it , right ?

Hyomin: Exactly

Jiyeon: Ahem, that’s so obvious Park Hyomin, you are not siding someone here, aren’t you ?

Hyomin: Park Jiyeon, you’re not getting anything from here when Eunjung goes back

Everyone: LOL

Eunjung then, invited them for video group chatting, which turned out to be a lovely catch-up among their gang, through their harmless sarcasm, teasing, and non-serious bickering, they all knew they were happy to finally see Eunjung and Hyomin all smiling, and most importantly they are together now. And even none of the two has confirmed anything verbally, their gesture announced the loudest, that’s what Jessica, Taeyeon, Yoona, Qri and Jiyeon have witnessed all along but there aren’t much they could do as their mutual friends because relationship is not something to be forced, and friends should not be playing important role on persuading and pushing them but to support their decision.

Hyomin and Eunjung are waiting for a check before leaving a café for their tour, when a waiter arrives with a bill on his hand, he smiles and says something , Hyomin takes a look at a bill

“What did he say?” Eunjung asks Hyomin

“Oh, he said, it’s a special offer promotion for best friends, we can enjoy 20% off” Hyomin roughly translates

Eunjung nods understood then grabs a bill from Hyomin’s hand, she takes out her credit card and passes it to a waiter

“Please charge us a full price, we are not eligible for the offer because we are not friends” Eunjung tells him in English, he smiles nervously and takes a card.

Hyomin shakes her head but smiles at such a act , she loves it though

Hyomin sighs for the umpteenth times of the days, she keeps checking on Eunjung’s temperature but what she gets only increasing her worry, her fever is not going down a bit.

“I’m sorry I ruined our plan” Eunjung mumbles, tired, she only has last two days left before she is headed back to Korea, but then her plan to spend such a wonderful time with Hymomin and make a memorial moment failed because she got sick, and everything are bound to be cancelled

“Eunjung ah, it doesn’t really matter” Hyomin responds to Eunjung, a back of her palm placing on Eunjung’s check and forehead , she could still feel the warmth, Eunjung is just pale as paper.

“I’m sorry” Eunjung sighs, disappointed

“If you ever repeat it again, I’ll leave you home alone and go out for a fancy dinner as your original plan, but all by myself” Hyomin threatens, “ That sounds even better to you?”

Eunjung doesn’t know which one sounds bitter, but she chooses to be quiet.

“Don’t go” Eunjung catches Hyomin’s hand as she gets up

“Silly, I’m not going anywhere, I’ll make some tea for you” Hyomin rubs Eunjung’s hand lovingly

Hyomin is back with hot tea in one hand and her laptop on the other, setting everything down before sitting on her bed, which is on the floor level, half of it is being occupied by a sick person.

“I’ll look into some flight for you, in case you might have to change it, if you’re not getting better” Hyomin opens up her laptop, turning it on .

“I don’t think we should change anything, even though I want to be here a bit longer, but that’s not my option” Eunjung protests stubbornly

“A couple more days shouldn’t hurt?” Hyomin offers an option

“I can’t take any more days off, I’ve got loads of work waiting back home” Eunjung insists her original plan

“But if you are not well like this, I don’t think I can let you get on a plane alone, what if you get worse on board, it’s a long fight, I just can’t imagine“ Hyomin reasons, she is worried about her girlfriend

“I’ll get better enough to fly, don’t worry” Eunjung says without so much energy, Hyomin can only sigh.

“Then get better for me, I don’t want to see you like this” Hyomin’s face is sadden, while holding Eunjung’s hand.

“I will” Eunjung gives a reassuring smile but it doesn’t make Hyomin any less worried

“Get some sleep, won’t you?” Hyomin brushes away stain of Eunjung’s messy hair

“I slept all day already and when I sleep time goes by so fast, I don’t want to” Eunjung whines , she is mad at herself for getting sick during this time, when she could have spent it more memorable with Hyomin if it’s not for this stupid fever.

“Either get better or get your flight changed” Hyomin offers choices that only making Eunjung sulking

“Alright” Eunjung gives in, unwillingly "I just want to spend more time with you” the last part is so soft as if she is talking to herself

Hyomin knows how Eunjung feels, two weeks together doesn’t make up to six months apart but she doesn’t want to see Eunjung in this condition anymore, it gets her worried to the point that she can’t sleep well all night, but that’s nothing, she could give up on her sleep nights if it could make Eunjung get better.

Hyomin slowly squeezes herself on a bed, lying down next to Eunjung, her arm sneaks through a blanket and crosses all the way to give Eunjung a side hug around her waist

“Are you sure you’re not going to catch it from me?” Eunjung asks though her gentle smile

“It is not like something contagious, or even it is, I told you I was vaccinated” Hyomin snuggles closer to give Eunjung more warmth

“You’re so warm, are you positive you’re not sick too?” Eunjung questions, concerned while her hand is holding to the warmth

“Shoo, let’s get some sleep” Hyomin says

In Hyomin’s embrace, Eunjung couldn’t be more comfortable, her eyes are getting heavier as each moment passes by, as she is about to doze off to her slumber ,she hears a sweet whisper

I love you, get well soon

Much to her worry, Hyomin couldn’t feel at ease when the morning comes and Eunjung is only slightly better. Eunjung forced herself to get up and walk around, but ended up resting her head on coffee table, with her puffy eyes and red hue in her cheeks. Hyomin, at the kitchen, is working on something on her computer and with a last few clicks, she’s done.

Looking over a separate counter, her attention darts back to her girlfriend who is seated on the floor in a sitting room, her luggage and stuff are everywhere on the floor, Eunjung doesn’t even start packing, she just stares at them mindlessly, Hyomin shakes her head, she doesn’t think Eunjung has enough energy to put things back, let alone packing neatly like she always does, and she must step in to help, ignoring the older’s protest

After struggling to sit up for a while, now Eunjung is resting her head on Hyomin’s thigh while her girlfriend is folding clothes for her on the floor. Hyomin would adore the sight more than this if a clingy person underneath her now is not sick, she finds packing consuming more time when she is limited to a certain move, Eunjung refuses to go to rest on a couch. Avoiding to hurt a sick woman, Hyomin time to time has to carefully shift Eunjung’s head which rested on her thigh to a pile of folded clothes when she has to reach for certain items across the floor to pack but when Hyomin is back to sit on the same spot, Eunjung moves her head back.

“Eunjung ah, get yourself comfortable on a couch, won’t you?” Hyomin suggests

“It’s cold there” Eunjung reasons

“As if the floor is not cold” Hyomin starts putting the clothes in luggage neatly

Hyomin never realizes how much she enjoys doing it until now, a new sensation of pleasure when her fingers traces along Eunjung’s clothes, each piece of fabric, each pattern of her clothes, every one of them reminds Hyomin of when she saw Eunjung wearing it, or how often she likes to wear it or even each specific moment she wears it, like a photo captured in her mind. She guesses it how you love someone so much , that you can remember such every details.

Now I know why you love to do my laundry, Hyomin thought

“You are almost done, aren’t you?” Eunjung asks, she wants to spend a little more time with her while Hyomin is not busy

“Yes, I’m almost done with your luggage, but I still have mine to pack” Hyomin informs

“Huh?” Eunjung isn’t quite sure of what she heard

“I have my luggage to pack and you heard it right” Hyomin repeats

“What?” Eunjung frowns in confusion, the younger of the two can’t help but finds it adorable, she lightly huffs Eunjung’s cheeks

“I rescheduled my class, I booked my fight and I’m accompanying you home, is that clear?” Hyomin explains, Eunjung widens her eyes in disbelief.

“Are you really?” Eunjung slowly gets up from her lying position, she searches for any of hint of joke, but she can’t find.

“Don’t get too excited though, I will be back only two weeks, and then come back here to do that I have to do” Hyomin adds more informtion , “ But meanwhile, I’m going home with you” she smiles

Eunjung’s lips turns into curves that anyone seeing it would know she is smiling, a happy smiling face, she couldn’t ask for more, it’s like a good news on her blue day, as she thought she would have less time to spend with her Hyomin, now she is given another two more weeks, and she is going to make the most of it.

“Thank you” Eunjung hugs Hyomin’s waist while they are sitting, Hyomin hugs her back

“You’re going to have me all over for yourself on a plane , so for now, go and rest in a couch or a bed before your back is going to kill you” Hyomin forewarns with her caring tone, Eunjung follows her instruction as she stands up and walks to a couch obediently, causing Hyomin to laugh lightly

“Hope you are not pretending to be sick” Hyomin jokes

“Feel it here, it’s still very warm” Eunjung argues while placing a palm on her forehead , Hyomin shakes her head.

On their departure date, Hyomin feels thankful to herself for making such a decision, if not she would be horribly worried, Eunjung is getting better, but still not fit enough for such a long flight, they had a little discussion with the airline counter, they seemed to be hesitant to allow her on a plane but Eunjung is not going to give up easily, not that they could refuse business class passengers anyway.

Throughout the fight Hyomin is there to look after her, she couldn’t imagine leaving her to travel alone like this, Eunjung looks dazed and pale

“I don’t know what I would do without you” Eunjung rests her head on Hyomin’s shoulder while they are waiting for their connecting flight.

“I’m doing it for my peace of mind” Hyomin fishes out a bag of dried fruit snack to feed Eunjung

“You know it’s much better when you are here” Eunjung feels safe somehow

"Thanks me later, now eat more, you will need some energy” Hyomin encourages, though Eunjung doesn’t feel like eating but she eats anyway.

“Are you mad at me?” Eunjung chews a snack

“Why should I be, I’m just worried” Hyomin softens her voice,

“I’m sorry to be a burden” Eunjung feels bad somehow

“If taking care of a girlfriend while she is not feeling well means burden then I don’t know how you would call it for us taking care of each other for the rest of our life” Hyomin bluntly states, she wipes away crumbs from the corner of Eunjung’s lip

Eunjung is touched by Hyomin’s statement, “For the rest of our life” sounds very long, and no one knows how long it’s gonna be, but for sure she wants to spend it with Hyomin. She is so tired of her exploring and experiments when her answer is still the same and she is more than ready to settle down with the very first person her heart set to.

“Hyomin ah”

“Hm”

“Thank you for taking a good care of me”

“That’s what girlfriends are for”

Hyomin tiles her head and gives Eunjung a kiss on her forehead, while her arm wraps around her protectively.

In sickness and in health, in tough time and joy , tear and smile, they have been through them all besides each other but from now on, no one knows a road ahead, it could be rough or smooth, full of thorns or laid with flower, not that Hyomin nor Eunjung would worry about. They once feared of losing, that they never took a chance having, they learned the pain from it all. Now everything has gone and what matters is now, having each other in their arms, nothing they ever want more than to make one another happy, cherish every moment and learn to love each other deeper.

A/N: This is really the last chapter for this story, the reasons behind Eunjung and Hyomin’s actions in chapter 3 ( When I am here) , clarifications given in flashback part, and in Hyomin's letter. I guess for now, an epilouge  “When we are together ” part is the finally conclusion. I kinda portrayed more characters of EunMin’s friends to show the difference and level of friendships when EunMin treat other and when they treat one another. Fei character is inspired by a sister show where Hyomin and Fei from Miss-A were paired up, I love their reaction though.
