Yuna whines as the sunlight hits her face, making her squint as she opens her eyes. Lifting her hands to execute a nice stretch, Yuna finds her right arm stuck, the high schooler turning to her right in confusion, only to see a familiar girl that never failed to make her heart beat faster. 

that wasn’t a dream? 

Yuna blinks in surprise, carefully bringing up her left hand to brush away the stray hairs on Lia’s face, the girl’s brows scrunched up cutely as she slept. “That’s no good.” Yuna pouts, placing her finger gently onto the girl’s brows, them gently as if trying to smoothen out her frown. A satisfied smile made its way onto her features when Lia let out a small relieved sigh and her stiff features finally relaxed. 

“That’s better.” 

“What is?” 

Yuna finds herself at a loss of words, and it was as if she was choking on something that wasn’t even there. Lia opens her eyes lazily, sending Yuna one of those smoky gazes that will never fail to take her breath away. Yuna doesn’t know if she should curse God at how perfectly gorgeous he made Lia, such that she was able to render her helpless at any point of time, or if she should bow down and thank him for the rest of her life for letting her meet the said goddess. 

“Hmm?” 

Yuna quickly snaps out of the trance the girl placed her in, shifting backwards and allowing more space between herself and the latter. Thankfully, Lia didn’t notice the shaky exhale she let out before replying, “Nothing? But good morning!” 

Lia smiles, rubbing her eyes before letting out a cute yawn, arms flailing before landing around Yuna, the younger girl freezing in shock whilst the older girl took in a deep inhale before exhaling with a satisfied grin. 

“You’re comfy.”

Yuna actually doesn’t know what to say or do when Lia proceeds to pull herself closer, nuzzling her nose into Yuna’s neck, arms wrapping around the latter tightly. Yuna’s phone alarm clock buzzed once more. The younger girl cursed internally and for the first time in her lifetime, wished she didn’t set her alarm as the older girl let out a noise of confusion before untangling her arms from Yuna’s lengthy body and getting out of bed. 

Goddamn it. 

“Who’s Ryujin?” Lia asks, head cocked to one side cutely. 

Yuna frowned, not understanding why Lia would remotely know her senior called Ryujin. 

As if sensing her confusion, Lia raised the younger girl’s phone, the alarm having a reminder of “collect biology notes from Ryujin.” 

Yuna’s eyes widened in shock. “Oh no, I'm supposed to meet her at her house in…” Yuna trails off, striding closer to the girl before squinting at her phone, not noticing Lia’s initial taken aback look of surprise at Yuna’s sudden assertiveness. “Ten minutes… Oh god! Ten minutes i needa go!” 

Yuna quickly rolls to the other side of her bed before standing in one quick motion, grabbing a crop tee and denim shorts before changing out. It was only when Yuna tugged down her shorts where she realised that a certain girl was in the room with her. Eyes widening and tugging up her shorts quickly, Yuna whipped around, sending the shocked Lia a sheepish smile, both their faces mirroring a shade of red. 

“I- sorry! Can you… turn around? You know what it’s okay i-i’ll just go to the toilet!” Yuna huffs, face burning in embarrassment as she rushes to the toilet, pressing her body against the wall to prevent hitting the older girl. Locking the door and throwing her clothes on the closed toilet seat, Yuna splashes waves of water against her burning face, hoping it’ll cool down faster. “Okay Yuna, don’t screw up anymore, just act like nothing happened! Yes that’s the best option right?” 

Groaning in regret, Yuna slipped on her change of outfit before the door clicked open, allowing her to see Lia sitting cross legged on the bed, wearing a similar outfit. “Ready?”

“Ryujin! Sorry for keeping you waiting! I overslept…” Yuna trails off, a sheepish smile on her face as she walks towards her senior, who seemingly didn’t mind waiting an extra ten minutes. 

“Nah, no worries, Chaeryeong isn’t here yet so, that’s okay.” 

Yuna sends her senior a cheeky sly smile, pairing it with her signature eyebrow wiggle, making Ryujin roll her eyes in despair. 

“So who’s that?” Ryujin asks, shifting to lean against a nearby pole. 

“Who?” 

“That girl. The one that’s staring at you across the street.” 

Yuna turns around, locking eyes with Lia who volunteered to wait for her instead of accompanying her as it might “make the situation awkward”.

“You walked with her too. So spill it, who is she?” Now it was Ryujin’s turn to give Yuna a taste of her medicine as she sends her a sly wink, making Yuna groan and execute a fake gag. 

“Hey, she’s cute, why the gag?” 

“I know she is.” Yuna says, peeking to glance at Lia once more, the older girl wearing a bright smile as she helped an older lady with her direc
