Yuna jolted out of bed at the sudden ring of her alarm, the seventeen-year-old having a love hate relationship with the incessant ring she hears every morning without fail. It never failed to give her a headache, but it was a small price she would pay to be on time for school. Putting her uniform on and carefully straightening out the slight creases on her collar, Yuna gave her reflection a bright smile, the same way she’s been starting her day since seventeen years ago. It’s scientifically proven that you’ll feel happy when you smile, and Yuna held that fact dear to her heart. 

Her brother greeted her with a milo packet flung at her face at high speed, the girl yelping in surprise before dodging out of the way. “Ya! Shin Yehyun, stop acting like a child.” Yuna clicked her tongue as her younger brother adjusted his tie and bolted out of the door, a loud goodbye declaring his exit. Letting out a sigh, Yuna bent down to pick up the thrown milo packet, the yellow post it note stuck on it making her smile. Her brother could be a pain in the , but he was always better with his words than his actions. 

Tearing it off and placing it with the others, Yuna stared in awe as her rainbow was half complete, the yellow section almost full. “He’s such a child.” Yuna sighed once more, her smile betraying her words of irritation to her dear brother. 

Her last alarm set off, making her jump in shock. 

Oh no i’m going to be late. 

Yuna dashed out of the door, locking it and gulping down her milo in one go, thankfully not choking embarrassingly. She reached her school a minute before the bell rang, to which Yuna let out a relieved grin. She hated morning runs, but her legs would never fail her. It was only when Yuna realised that she didn’t know anyone here, and that she practically barged into a random class, panting and sweating all over the place, that she actually stopped to check the class she was in.

“I’m sorry,” Yuna bowed slightly before exiting the class, her legs bringing her to the next class, hoping that it was the right one. After walking for a few minutes, Yuna let out her first frown of the day. “Where’s 4A3 gosh. Why am i in the 3 section now.” 

Yuna scratched her head in confusion, the girl desperately looking around for her class. This was the one dear Yuna had when their family decided to move to leave Suwon and move to Seoul. Yuna was great at interaction, don’t get her wrong, but she was… terrible at directions. 

“Move.”

Before Yuna could react to the girl’s voice, she was met with a rough shove, making her jerk forward in surprise. “Excuse me! That was rude!” Yuna exclaimed, her disapproving frown deepening as she turned around, meeting face to face with the rude girl that had shoved her. But what she didn’t expect was to lock eyes with a jet black haired beauty, her eyes bored yet fierce, lips curved up in an impatient smirk. 

“I’m not asking twice, move out of the way. I gotta get to class.” 

Yuna blinked in surprise at the girl’s unwelcoming tone, instinctively shifting to the side and letting the girl through. The girl let out a scoff before starting to walk, only to be stopped once more. 

“What’s your problem.” 

Yuna gulped in fear, carefully letting out a smile, heart thumping nervously. She hoped the girl would let down her menacing aura a little. “I- do you know where’s 4A3? I’m new here so i got a little lost.”
