"I'll find you Jennie, I promise,"

"Lisa!!" I yell out as I hastily sit up with my hand on my heaving chest. I quickly look around and felt my heart beating in anticipation as I heard rushed footsteps making its way to my room. But seeing as it was Rosé rushing in, I had suddenly exploded in loud cries as I buried my face in my hands.

"Oh my God Jen!" Rosé quickly sits beside me and embraces me with her hand wrapped around my neck. I quickly removed my hand off my face and then wrapped around her waist as I buried my face into her neck to muffle my cries.

It was as if I was finally grieving over my fathers death and losing Lisa all at the same time and it hurt. Oh how it hurt.

"She's gone Rosie! She left me!" I cry out as I held onto her tighter. Rosé sighs and sniffles lightly as she began to rub soothing circles on my back,

"Jisoo is out there right now looking for her okay?" Rosé reassures. But how can I feel any type of reassurance when it's already been a week since I last saw her. When I woke up the next day all I found was a note from her awful but cute hand writing that said 'I'm sorry.'

"What if she's really gone Rosie? What if she turned back into a Siren and forgot all about me?" I whimper out. Rosé pulls back and immediately placed her hand on my tear stained cheeks,

"We have a week left okay? And I don't think she will, considering the fear she has for the sea," Rosé says. I sigh and cry softly,

"If she did then why isn't she here with me right now?" I ask. I wanted Lisa with me. I wanted her to hold me and tell me everything is going to be okay. I needed Lisa because,

"Hello?"

"Mom," I whisper out through the phone as I laid on my bed staring blankly at the ceiling. I felt empty.

"What's wrong baby?" My mother immediately asks. I remain silent for a moment and sighed as another tear rolled down my cheek,

"I remember," I whisper.

"What? I can't hear you," she says. I gulp down a cry,

"I remembered how dad died," I stated a little louder. I hold in my breath as the line went silent.

"How?" My mother asks lightly, but I could hear the tremble in her voice. I let out a long breath while wiping my tear,

"It doesn't matter. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. I bite my lip as my mother remained silent once again before sighing in defeat. I hear a screech of a chair scraping the wooden floor indicating that she was probably sitting down now,

"The police told me when they found you and your father laying lifeless on the beach they had thought you were also dead. But you had jumped up screaming and crying so they had to immediately sedate you. And when I went to the hospital to see you, you looked so lifeless baby. You were tossing and turning and mumbling words. You were even begging to forget and crying in your sleep that I couldn't find the heart to tell you how your dad died after finding out you had amnesia," my mother explains. I could hear sniffling.

"And you made it easier for me when you never asked how he died. You just accepted it," she says. I clench my eyes tightly as more tears continue to roll down my eyes. I sit up and lean my back against bed rest while placing a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Mom," I call out. She hums in response while sniffling lightly.

"Why did you say Lisa looked familiar to you?" I asked. My mother sniffs and dryly chuckles,

"Well, when I was maybe 6 years old. I was looking through a photo album and saw a picture of my great aunt in her wedding day. And she wasn't getting married to man. She was getting married to woman that looked exactly like Lisa," she says causing me to smile lightly and nod my head, forgetting that my mother couldn't see. Lisa was only acting weird the day my mother met her because she wasn't use to that kind of skin-ship with anyone else who wasn't me.

"Oh and Jen? My great aunt looked exactly like you," she says causing my eyes to widen.

"M-mom I'm going to have to call you back," I stammer out and without waiting for her reply, I quickly hung up. I swiftly stood up and rushed towards my closet,

"Any luck?" Jisoo asks as I sit myself across from her and Rosé on our table. I send a pained smile while shaking my head. Rosé sighs and pushed an extra cup of coffee to me.

"Don't lose hope okay? She's out there somewhere, we just have to figure out where," Rosé says while taking a sip of her own drink. I huffed while nodding my head taking a big gulp of the coffee,

"Jen I'm worried about you. You haven't eaten or slept properly since that day," Jisoo points out with a pained look. Feeling the ache in my chest return, I quickly avert my eyes away. They were right. I've gotten skinnier and I have never had eye bags so excessive in my life. I look down at my hands and clasp them together,

"I just need to find her. It doesn't matter if she's still human or not. I just need to know if she's okay," I said. Jisoo sighs and gently placed her hand over mine,

"Knowing that idiot, she is probably trying to get her thoughts ready before she sees you again, okay?" Jisoo tries to reassure me but I was done listening to any form of reassurance until I see her smile again. I look up at the duo and smile slightly,

"Thanks girls," I said. But we all knew it wasn't genuine but we just pretended that it was. In reality, none of us can feel confident with any words that were being brought out of our mouths.

We've looked everywhere but I kept having this nagging feeling that we missed one place. And that feeling was annoying the kraken out of me. Jisoo groans and begins to massage her temples,

"I swear, once I find that idiot I am going turn her into fish stew!" She frustratingly says. Rosé chuckles dryly and rubs soothing circles on her girlfriends back,

"With a side of kimchi fried rice with tuna," She teases causing us all to chuckle for a moment. But silence immediately surrounded us as  our thoughts began to race. Rosé goes to speak but the sound of my ring tone going off quickly caught our attention. I look at the screen and furrow my eyebrows as I saw the caller ID.

"Who is it?" Jisoo asks.

"It's Sunmi," I said while answering the phone and lifting it to my ear,

"Hello?" I called out while taking a sip of my coffee.

"Hey Jen? I heard you've been looking for Lisa," she suddenly says causing me to choke on my coffee and cough aggressively. I swallow thickly before feverishly nodding,

"Y-Yeah why?" I asked. I hear her sigh,

"I should've called you a few days ago but—" I cut her off angrily as I knew where this conversation was heading towards,

"Wait, you've known where she was this whole time?!" I ask. She lets out another breath,

"Yes but I have a somewhat good reason! Last week I found her passed out on the beach shivering. So I helped her into the store and was getting ready to call you but she begged me not to and passed out again. She barely woke up today," Sunmi explains.
