Lisa stumbles back until her back hit the wall as she couldn't remove her eyes from the picture in my trembling hand. With a shaky hand, she slowly points at it,

"W-where'd you get that?" She asks breathlessly. I wipe my tear off my cheek and narrow my eyes,

"It doesn't matter where I got it! Is this you with my dad Lisa?" I ask with my tone laced with betrayal and confusion. None of this was making sense. My dad knew Lisa? Lisa gulps and averts her eyes to the floor,

"Yes," She whispers causing me to drop the picture to the floor and stumble back as my knees had suddenly felt weak. I gasp lightly as the back of my legs hit the edge of my bed causing me to plop down on it.

"You knew my dad and never told me," I stated in a whisper. I didn't know what to feel. The fact that the woman standing here in front of me had known my father all along and never thought of mentioning it to me. I grit my teeth as Lisa refused to say anything or even meet my eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. But, again, Lisa refused to say or do anything. I stand up and kick the book to the side causing Lisa to flinch,

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yell out. And in that same moment Lisa looked up at me with pain in her eyes,

"I-I couldn't," She stammers out. I furrow my eyebrows and clench my fist tightly,

"Why?" I asked. Lisa looks away and combs her fingers through her hair in frustration and huffs,

"I can't say," She firmly says. My heart instantly clenched at the sight of her cold and fearful eyes. But the pain was more of the betrayal and the frustration that she has refused to say anything to me.

"Tell me Lisa," I demand as I took a step forward. Lisa shook her head and looked away from me,

"No," she says causing me to scowl,

"Tell me now!" I angrily say. Lisa clenches her eyes tightly as tears instantly fell from her eyes and began to shake aggressively,

"I said no Jennie!" She yells out as she quickly tries to turn away and make her way out of the room. I quickly rush towards her and gripped onto her wrists stopping her escape,

"Why?! Why can't you tell me!? You've been hiding things from me about my dad and what happened back at sea! You asked us to help you become a human but refused to help yourself! Don't you think you owe me an explanation? Tell me the truth Lisa! Please!" I begged. And before I knew Lisa had swiftly removed her wrist from my grasp and faced me with tearful eyes,

"Because I promised you!!" She yells out. I widen my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as we stared at each other, breathing heavily from frustration, confusion and sadness.

"What do you mean you promised me?" I asked. She rubs her face roughly from tears and cries lightly,

"I promised you that I wouldn't remind you of that night," She whispers brokenly.

"What night?! What are you talking about? I never went on the boat with my dad Lisa. Let alone meet you." I frustratingly said. She drops her hands and stares at me with the same pained expression,

"Who do you think took that picture of your dad and I?" She suddenly asks. I furrow my eyebrows even more and gripped onto my hair as nothing was making any sense. That was until something had immediately clicked inside me. I look over at Lisa and narrowed my eyes,

"You made me forget didn't you?" I asked. She stays silent for a moment before nodding,

"Yes, you told me to," She says. I nodded my head before walking up to her again,

"Now I'm telling you to give me my memories back," I demanded. Lisa widens her eyes and feverishly shakes her head,

"N-no. I promise—," I quickly cut her off with a shake of my head and sharpened eyes,

"To hell with that promise! You owe me Lisa," I stated. She hesitates for a moment before wiping her tears away and nodding in defeat. Without a word Lisa had stood in front of me and closed her eyes as as she slowly placed her hand on the back of my head and placed her other hand over my eyes.

"You will be getting your memories back but not the way you'd expect. You'll be living through your memories all over again," Lisa says. I nod my head and trembled in anticipation. Lisa lets out a shaky breath,

"I'm sorry," She whispers. And before I could reply her hand started to glow and pierce through my eyes, causing my head to burn. Without me realizing it, I had started screaming as the pain in my head increased as if it was going explode when suddenly,

Everything went black.

Where was I?

"You're now in your memories Jennie" Lisa voice echoed in my mind.

"Open your eyes."

I slowly flutter my eyes open as I felt the familiar sea breeze flow through me and the sway of the boat.

I was no longer in my room.

I gasped as I noticed I was standing on a boat in the middle of the sea. I began to breath heavily as I looked around,

"Lisa?!" I call out as I began to turn around to find a certain silver haired girl. But turning around I realized I wasn't alone on the boat. I was at sea with a man. But he was no ordinary man,

"Dad?" I whisper as I stared at his back while he was whistling a tune as he was fishing patiently. I slowly —and nervously— took cautious steps towards him until I was facing his side. He looked young and so happy.

Just like his picture.

A single tear fell from my eye as I stared at my father who was smiling widely. I remembered that smile. I slowly reached over and tried to touch his face but my hand had just went through him causing me to gasp and pull away. I slowly backed away,

"Woah!! I think I got something!" He yells out in excitement while trying to reach for the giant net next to him,

"Jennie!! Come here and get the net for me!" He yells out causing my eyes to widen in surprise. I had thought he was talking to me until a little girl had ran through my body causing me to yelp in surprise. I felt my eyes trying to jump out of my sockets as the girl was me!

"Got it!!" The 10 year old me says as she reached for the net and handed it to my dad. He groans but laughs,

"This is a big one alright!!" He yells out as he continued to reel it in. The younger me laughs and hops in excitement as she looked over the edge of the boat causing a warm smile to paint my lips.

"I think I see it!" She or me says. My dad grins,

"Alright! Here it comes!" And at that same moment he had quickly lifted the net and immediately got the giant fish inside and pulled it on the boat. But the moment he dropped the net on the boat all three of us gasped in surprise,

"Lisa?" I whisper while taking steps closer to
