Mina’s ears perked up at the soft sounds coming from her windows, sounding suspiciously like pebbles hitting the glass. She glanced at her phone, finally noticing a barrage of Discord notification from a certain person that always brings out a smile whenever her name is mentioned in Mina’s vicinity.

The obnoxious sounds dissipated quickly as Mina moved to open her window. Peering down, she sees Tzuyu’s figure, waving giddily under the moonlight. Even with a surgical mask covering her face, Mina can easily recognize her.

Tzuyu lowers her mask, beaming a smile as she leans on Mina’s neighbor’s walls. She presses her phone to her ear at the same time Mina’s phone rings.

Mina giggles, accepting the call while still leaning on the window, admiring how relaxed Tzuyu looked despite a) it’s dark and Tzuyu is afraid of the dark b) she’s only finished her shift an hour ago.
