Prelude
Mrs. & Mrs. KangJoy was nervous. The last time she felt this nervous, as far as she could remember, was the first time she walked in the runway.
Her hands felt clammy and she was sure she was sweating badly despite the air conditioner in the venue. Her heart was hammering in her chest, and she badly wanted to rip her dress off and run away.

“Miss Park?” the organizer—a beta, Joy realized—called out, a bright smile in her face that would have irked Joy if she weren’t so nervous. “Please get ready.”
