Wooyoung drove the two of them back to their humble abode. Throughout the whole journey, she caught him staring at her; however, that meant he caught her staring at him, too. Her mother assisted her get in the house as Hayeon welcomed them with a tight hug. Jiwoong, on the other hand, hurried to him and helped him with the luggages.

It was late and he was planning to leave. She stared at him blankly as she held onto Hayeon’s hand. He was about to turn his back before her father stopped him and insisted that he stays in for the night. Her mom agreed saying it was already too dark and that he would have a difficult time seeing from the lack of lighting on the streets. He sighed in defeat, not having anything to say back to her parents besides ‘Okay’ and ‘Thank you.’

He could tell she was opposed to him spending the night in the same roof as her. She immediately asked where he was going to sleep, in fear that her parents might offer the free, ample space on her double bed. Jiwoong even joked how erted she was, having the thought of him sleeping beside her. She let go of Hayeon’s hand briefly to smack her brother’s back quite cruelly. Both her parents laughed it off while her face blushed intensely.

Jiwoong was off to a midnight party and said that he’d be sleeping over his friend’s house. With that, he offered his own room for him to sleep in. Her parents agreed and he saw her agree, too. They all then set off to their own rooms as Jiwoong left for the midnight party.

In her brother’s room, he looked around. On the edge of his bed laid some clothes and a note. In that note, her mom suggested that he change into Jiwoong’s shirt and shorts. He did not hesitate and took the clothes to change, because he didn’t really think sleeping in a tight polo shirt and jeans was comfortable at all. He started changing by taking his polo shirt off first but she just had to enter the room at that very same time.

“AHHH!” Taeyeon screamed, placing her hands over her closed eyes. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t know you were... ,” she apologized sincerely while still covering her eyes.

Wooyoung quickly put Jiwoong’s shirt on and made his way over to her. He laughed a little before grasping her hands from concealing her beautiful eyes. “I’m really sorry...” she said shyly. Wooyoung smiled at her, tucking a loose lock of her hair behind her cute, giant ear.

She pushed him slightly, keeping their distance from each other. “I just needed to get some pillows,” she paused. “Well that’s ‘cause the extra pillows are kept inside Jiwoong-oppa’s closet, if ever you’re wondering.”

Wooyoung watched her reach for the handles of the very high-placed shelf. He laughed softly at her perseverance, making her turn back to scowl at him. “Need a hand?” he offered. Taeyeon snorted in derision, “I don’t think I would want another one because I wouldn’t want to look ridiculous having three arms stuck on my body.”

Wooyoung snorted even louder as he replied, “I’m quite certain I offered my hand, not my arm, Miss Sarcastic.” Taeyeon opened only to have it closed right back, having nothing to snap back at him. She took a step to her right, paving the way for him to do the job. “That’s what I thought,” he smirked.

Taeyeon watched him reach and open the shelf with ease. Wooyoung grabbed a few pillows with one hand and closed the shelf back with the other. He turned to Taeyeon who kept a displeased expression on her face. “What?” he asked, raising one of his eyebrows. Taeyeon narrowed her eyes at him more as she tried to seize the pillows from his grasp. Dodging her attempt, Wooyoung snickered quite proudly before Taeyeon loses her balance and falls on top of the taller man.

“Haha! I got you!” Taeyeon laughed delightedly as she landed flat on Wooyoung’s body. “Get off! You’re heavy!” Wooyoung complained, pushing Taeyeon off of himself. Taeyeon did not stir, putting all of her weight over the man.
