For Chanyeol the classes end at 12 today he still have one at the evening but he will skip it since he decide to do a statement and talk to the reporters to not get any other day like yesterday! He was aware that they may ask very sensitive questions so he didn’t mind he prepare himself mentally, he knows the company situation is getting worse because of some financial problems in the selling as he concludes from the meetings he did with the workers and the subjects they have been discussed 

Going out of the class after chitchatting with Sehun he heard Kyungsoo shouting “see you tonight Chanyeol?” Chanyeol look at him with a smile “sure” moving to the parking lot he saw Baekhyun talking to his driver, laughing with him Chanyeol clench his fist! Here he goes again starting to get nervous! He get closer to the two seeing Baekhyun notice him he look at him with a fast glimpse then turn to his car which was parked in the next spot.

Wait! Did he just ignore him? Where is that fake smile he always do when there eyes met? wait! Why do I want that?

Clearing his throat Chanyeol said loud for the little one to hear “your coming to Kyungsoo party?”

Baekhyun stopped near the opened door of his car turning to look at Chanyeol with the smile he asked for in his mind “no”

The driver look awkwardly at the two! so he just move back to his driving seat trying to not overhearing the conversation 

“Why?” Chanyeol asked directly he knows that non of his business but he just say that

Baekhyun take out a little laugh and roll his eyes clearly give the feels of ’none of your business’ but Chanyeol didn’t like it didn’t like the attitude!

“I don’t attend parties” Baekhyun said with a tone of mocking 

Chanyeol sense that something is off he said “i heard it was your idea! Why aren’t you attending it? now you like to see kids waisting their parents money for things like that without even going?”

“What?” Baekhyun didn’t expect that his face was shocked really shocked that even Chanyeol noticed that maybe he did exaggerate

“I work night shifts” Baekhyun said with an angry expression getting into his car and drove it off leaving Chanyeol there standing then with a little “damn” he get in the car mumbling “your so stupid Park Chanyeol”

The driver look at the mirror “Am sorry sir for overhead your conversation”

Chanyeol just shrugs with “it’s okay!”

“thank you sir” the driver said starting the engine and driving the car 

“You know him well?” Chanyeol asked out of the blue and the driver was surprised 

“What!...yes sir! maybe!” The driver replied 

“What your name?” Chanyeol asked 

“Am Suho sir” the driver replied again

“Tell me Suho what do you know about Baekhyun?”

The driver look at the mirror surprised “did he do something wrong sir?” Suho asked

Chanyeol huffs “maybe”

“But sir he is a hard worker never been late and do his job really good, like he do have eyes everywhere Ain those cameras he sitting behind, he even make the staff feel so up and so positive” Suho start to defend him out of no where

Chanyeol shake his head not believing it! why everyone really defending him? “Isn’t that makes him more suspicious” Chanyeol said he doesn’t care if he was talking to a driver but it killing him inside how a student of Seoul most expensive university work as a security surveillance cameras “look where he study and look where he work”

Suho just keep quiet after hearing what Chanyeol said “hmm...” he start to think about it humming “talking about that! Maybe your father paying his fees?”

Chanyeol look at him with a questioning look “my father? Why he will? Did he even know he exists?” A little of his tone was sarcasm because yes his a security why his father will give intention to one!

“But...” Suho said then stop

“What?” Chanyeol now give his full intentions because this driver do know something 

“Sir! I don’t know if I should say this but your his son am sure he won’t mind! so after your father get out of the hospital he should have been resting but in a night he called me secretly and ordered me to came and drove him to an unknown bowling place down town with my own car for no one to see him and for my surprise he went and meet Baekhyun there asking me to not tell anyone about it because he doesn’t trust anyone anymore”

Chanyeol eyes got wide open what? Why? His mind was just asking many questions at this moment! Why the hell his father going to find him right after he get out from the hospital sinking in his deep thoughts Chanyeol now arrived to the company the reporters wasn’t at the entrance this time they must be preparing them selves inside. Stopping the car he noticed a blue known one there his mind immediately screams ‘it Baekhyun car!’ He gets in, directly to his office finding the secretary already put a suitable suit for the Live broadcast he move to the bathroom changing his clothes and move down to where the reporters are with crossed fingers he won’t blow things up

Stopping the car in anger “what the hell he think himself to say something like that?” He just talk to himself inside the car “and you stupid ByunBaek why the did you hesitate back then! Why do you feel uncomfortable around him! is it because of that kiss?” He keep talking to himself “hold yourself together! I don’t stand here today because i want to! Am here because I have to! No one will want you anyway! No one! No one” he said the words more then 5 times then he start to calm down he get out of the car and say hi to the door guards 

“Baekhyun! your early!” A guard said 

Baekhyun smiled shrugging his shoulders “the boss called he said he urgently need me in that y reporter thing” he said the last words imitating the head of the security guards voice and that made the others laugh hard, he pass through them directly to his work room where he found the day worker sitting there 

“Baekhyun your here!” He said to him and Baekhyun smiled with “good morning”

The worker knows that Baekhyun always works alone so he just let the place with “I will be around for any technical issues on the ground you call me if you need me”

Sitting on his usual chair he take out his laptop from his bag and his headphones again opening it he put a loud music that he start to nods his head with it and start mumbling the song lyrics he put his hand in his jacket pocket and take out his favorite flavor strawberry lollipop he look at the hour “2 hours and 23 minutes to the class”

Standing in front of the reporters who start immediately taking pictures the moment he step in the room, he introduced himself as “Park Chanyeol the CEO of the Park company” then immediately reporters start to strike with questions financial ones to know the company situation first then personal ones to know if he is good enough asking about his father health also to see if he was going to be the CEO from now on, he managed to pass a lot of questions smoothly he really was proud of himself, Sehun father start to show them some reports on how the company is still well managed Chanyeol eyes got up to where the company camera is he just look there for few seconds dazing thinking if he was watching this live!

Baekhyun indeed was watching him and he did notice how he was looking at the one camera that wasn’t recording the broadcast but recording the daily things!

Baekhyun look at him with a huffs “please! Just stop looking at me! What do you want Park Chanyeol?”

Completing the reports it was almost a Half of an hour now since he start, the right hand asked an “anymore questions?” And the reporters start to look at each other 

Chanyeol smiled proudly from inside he really wanted this to go smoothly and yes it did so he thank them with a respect and want to leave but hearing his name he w stopped looking at the reporter who called

“Mr.Park! what do you think about the cause of your father attack?” 

Chanyeol answer with a questioning look “I already said my father over work himself and now am glad his fine and take a rest for sometime”

“That wasn’t my question sir!” The reporter said “my informer said that your father loses all his shares and fortune and the shock made him get in the hospital for more then a week your company stopped giving any information to the outsiders”

Chanyeol look at Mr.Ooh with a very shocked face! Why no body told him this? the flows in the reports they gave him were stable? 

The report continue “Mr.Park we have been informed that your father has been threatened from the ‘Lie or Die’ is it true? And if it is how the company lived after confronting them?”

Chanyeol didn’t understand what is he even talking about? he was speechless what he should do? What they are talking about? Mr.Ooh tried to talk and said that this is all lies but the reporters didn’t care they start to take pictures and ask questions about the subject “What your hiding?” “Did your father get involved in any dirty works?” “Is the company will lost everything?” “Do you have any relation with them”

Not knowing what to do his phone vibrated in his hand he saw a message came from a unregistered number reading it his eyes got wide open 

“Lie or Die  -> Next target : Park Chanyeol”
