Eating breakfast with Chanyeol and his mother really felt weird, when was the last time eating with a family?...considering how he have been threatened maybe he never did

His mother was so funny and happy and Baekhyun didn’t stop himself from acting as the mood maker again making her laugh and laugh hardly to the point she excuse herself to the bathroom saying “oh my god I can’t” running outside leaving just the two there Baekhyun look at Chanyeol with a smile in his face “your mother is lovely” he said and Chanyeol nodded

“Yeah she is”

He look at the big clock in the middle of the breakfast room it was almost 7 and half “Class at 8 maybe I should excuse myself”

Chanyeol nodded “I should go too and talk to Kyungsoo! You want to go along?”

Baekhyun just shake his head a no “reporters will be everywhere around you today”

Chanyeol take a deep breath his expression was disappointed “okay” he replied, he want to ask why he is afraid of reporters like that but he couldn’t, his mother came back and Baekhyun excuse himself because he should take a taxi to where his car is then go to the university which will take much more time with a sudden hug the mother gave she said “please take care of my son his maybe get angry too easily but he have a good heart”

Baekhyun just nodded with a weak “yes” then left the room with Chanyeol who was going out leading him to the door

The two stopped at the door Baekhyun smiled with “see you around” and wanted to leave but Chanyeol stopped him calling his name

“Baekhyun!”

“yes?” he said turning back looking at Chanyeol, he saw him hesitating then start to get nervous even he could clearly see his cheeks start to get a little red

“About what mother said”

He finally said and Baekhyun mind was screaming a ‘DON’T’ but before Chanyeol could finish his sentence he was the one speaking “I know she thought of us wrong don’t worry!” he hit his arm with a smile “we are friends right?” clearly can see the disappointment in Chanyeol face but what to do he can’t accept his feeling! His good his famous he have a perfect family…he deserve someone better then him

Baekhyun just left taking a taxi to where his car is, he tried his best to not think about it he fight the urge inside of him that keep saying you better give it a try he just purely likes you because of you not because of how you look or he want something, how he shyly wants to confess a little while ago no one ever do that to him! Doesn’t he should give it a try? Maybe open up a little?

No…because the moment he know he is lying…he will hate him…

Arriving to the university Baekhyun find a lot of reporters around a lot of body guards around he put a sun glasses and a paper mask on his head because the major of students in this university do that in days like these, except the one who doesn’t care like Sehun over there who calmly coming in and when reporters came to ask him he always say the same words every time “good work everyone” he keep repeating it till even the reporters start to know he won’t say anything and start to ignore him

Getting in the class Baekhyun take off his glasses and mask going to where Kyungsoo was seriously spacing out next to him

“Everything is good?” Baekhyun asked

Kyungsoo look at him with a very worried expression “Baekhyun’aah you didn’t get any messages this morning?”

Baekhyun just shake his head a no and Kyungsoo put his phone next to him for him to read the message

From an unregistered number: Do Kyungsoo better leave Chanyeol side or your family secrets would be exposed – Lie or Die

Baekhyun eyes got wide open reading the message “who else get the message?” he asked loudly and the class mates look at him one of them said “I bought a new one and when I open it, I had a message about Chanyeol”

“me too”

“I had the same thing”

“me too”

Students around start to say in the class even Sehun came in with “I got a weird message guys”

Looking at each other Baekhyun asked “what you guys will do?”

Kyungsoo shrugs “I don’t know what father did in his live to reach the position! Good things bad things I don’t want to ruin the point he reach it because of a friends ship doesn’t completed a week, am sorry”

Baekhyun nodded understanding he look at Sehun “what about you?”

Sehun shrugs too “same goes for me I guess how matter I hate my father and mother but both of them did their best to let me live in peace, I don’t want to risk with those hackers they almost killed us yesterday”

Reporters start to be heard outside, must be Chanyeol arrived to the university, and yes minutes later he came in the class with “good morning” but no one respond

Chanyeol take a back for few seconds! They usually say a good morning and Sehun always the first, but this time he was avoiding looking at him, even when he sit next to him he just put his phone next to Chanyeol who read the message  with a shocked face, Sehun just said a “sorry man!” and stand changing his place to another chair

He felt bad, really bad, he look around, the students were giving him a very bad glances, like he is the cause of every bad thing in their live! But reading that message maybe he was going to do the same, just it hurt because they were kind to him and now they had the idea that someone bad out there know everything about them…he can’t blame them

He take his books and start to open them just reading whatever there waiting the teacher, everyone start to talk to each other but no one will talk to him…feeling a book being put next to him, the students were suddenly quite looking surprised at Chanyeol direction

Chanyeol look at the book and look at Baekhyun who was standing there then sits next to him looking at him with a smile then wink

“Baekhyun?” Chanyeol said more surprised than anyone there

“I left you yesterday at the party! But am not leaving you today” Baekhyun said shrugging his shoulders

Kyungsoo was the one speaking “are you crazy? What about your family?”

Baekhyun look at Kyungsoo with a smirk repeating “family?” yeah what family he have? He doesn’t have one even his name doesn’t have one 

“You guys stay afraid of mistakes your family did! No one will blame you as children anyway!” Baekhyun look back at Chanyeol with a soft smile “I say this Lie or Die better not play with my friends”

Yes he said that because his heart couldn’t keep seeing him like that! Memories of his childhood came running across his mind when he saw him like that sitting alone with no one around, he experienced that feeling before because of his mother job, he wanted just one person to come to him and say this is not because of you, you didn’t do anything wrong, he won’t let him have the same bad feeling he had before no not Chanyeol

“You really are something Baekhyun” Sehun said admitting it “but why you didn’t get the message?”

Everyone now was looking at him strangely

Baekhyun shake his head like he doesn’t know “i guess they are not good enough to find something to threatened me with” Baekhyun know that those words will break one of the rules he had to made no one to dig about his past, Questions now start to go over the class who is he what his parents do? Where did he came from but Baekhyun doesn’t care anymore! If he was going to do any good in his life he will gladly doing it for Chanyeol even if it his last before he will be exposed.

The teacher came in and the students start to focus on the class, he heard Chanyeol asking him with a low voice “what are you doing?”

Baekhyun look at him “saving your from a real embarrassment”

The class end and the students start to leave the university, Chanyeol take his bag and was heading to the outside, he didn’t say a word to Baekhyun or anyone he just left, he headed to the outside but he felt someone moves to his side with fast steps, Chanyeol look at his side

“Leave Baekhyun” he said in anger

“Why?” Baekhyun just said simply like nothing happened wearing his sun glasses and paper mask

“Please it not the time for you to act” Chanyeol replied

“Why so serious?”

Chanyeol stopped looking at him “You saw how this lunatics want to make my life miserable I don’t want you to get involved in something like that Baek”

Baekhyun hearing the half of his name and how it been called with his deep voice, his heart skip a beat because he like it “I made my choice”

“No!” Chanyeol almost screamed “I can’t even have the idea of you being hurt in any way because of me! I would prefer to die before that” 

Baekhyun stayed silent for few moment then he said “too late”

“What?” Chanyeol asked he didn’t know what he meant but then he look in front of him and found reporters already coming to his direction and taking pictures of them, Baekhyun just wave to him “see you later” then left trying to maximum avoid seeing directly in the cameras, he get in his car and drive off leaving Chanyeol just looking there surprised at him, and reporters start to ask

“Mr. Park we have been informed that the Lie or Die start targeting your friends sending them threaten messages to leave you what your comments about that?”

“Mr. Park who was with you seconds ago?”

“Is he confronting the lie or Die by staying beside you?”

“What your relation?”

“Whose son is he?”

Chanyeol tried to open his way between them not saying anything he just hardly reach his car and Suho drive immediately to the company, arriving there Chanyeol asked for a meeting to this time know the company situation, probably no one would lie to him now with a very serious expression he hold the meeting and everyone felt his aura that if you lied your fired, hours passed till now it was darker outside, Chanyeol was on his office stuck with plenty of files and numbers, till the secretary knock then gets in

“Sir I will be leaving now”

“Okay” Chanyeol replied

“And sir just for your information there is a worker just put his leaving papers now it not a big position his just in the security guard department”

“Okay find a replacement” Chanyeol replied still looking at the papers

“Yes Sir, goodnight sir” she said then wants to leave

“Wait” Chanyeol look at her “what his name?”

The secretary look at here agenda “Byun Baekhyun”

Chanyeol eyes got wide open “why?” he asked standing “is he still here?”

“He just left sir” the secretary said a little unsure of her answer

Chanyeol just left everything in the office and run outside moving to the elevator and seeing it going down already he didn’t wait and take the stairs, why he is running like this? He doesn’t know? Maybe he got threatened by those Lie or Die guys and made him leave? Is he okay? Many bad ideas start to form up in his mind he runs to the parking and saw it there the blue car was still there but it start the engine moving the car Chanyeol runs standing behind the car where Baekhyun was going out of the parking back words he felt the hit from behind and immediately stopping the car going out of it scared with “ARE YOU CRAZY” looking at Chanyeol who was on the ground

Chanyeol look at the frightened Baekhyun who lean down to see if his okay but Chanyeol just take his face with his both hands “are you okay?”

“What?” Baekhyun asked with a strange expression “you’re the one who got hit ”

“Why did you left?”

Baekhyun roll his eyes hitting Chanyeol hands then stands “to not be suspicious studying there and working here”

Chanyeol stand also “they didn’t get to you right?” he asked concerned

Baekhyun huffs going to his driver place “trust me Chanyeol if someone should be concerned about being around someone else that would be you not me”

Chanyeol look at him with a rise eyebrow “meaning?”

Baekhyun didn’t have the time to reply because his laptop voice out a sound like an alarm Baekhyun immediately turn to his bag and open it taking his laptop opening it with “what the ?”

“What?” Chanyeol look at him with a worried look “what happened”

Baekhyun close the laptop then the car door “I need to go someone just break into my house?”

“I go with you” Chanyeol immediately said

“No!” Baekhyun replied

“BAEKHYUN” Chanyeol yells making the other just looking at him he saw him moving to get in next to him and he did with no other word he start the engine heading to his house

For Chanyeol surprise they head to the richest part of the city where his house was just few blocks away, he stopped in front of a fancy villa that Chanyeol every morning pass by it in the car saying it look awesome better than his traditional one.

“Stay here” Baekhyun said with a serious tone

“What if there is a thief?” Chanyeol couldn’t finish his sentence of ‘are you going to fight him or let call the police first’ he was surprised how Baekhyun open the car drawer and take out a gun loading it fast then get outside the car

“Damn!” Chanyeol said going out of the car too moving behind him seeing him writing the code and the door got opened and every light inside got opened with it surprised how this villa was intelligent, he was shocked seeing it all upside down like someone was searching for something and doesn’t bother of doing it secretly, but for his surprised Baekhyun didn’t look like he is bothered with it, he lean down to take a note on the ground next the door reading it
