Looking at the note he slam the door with his foot saying “they are probably gone by now”

Chanyeol look at him strangely “you don’t seem bothered with all this” he pointed to the mess inside of the house

Baekhyun shrugs looking around “they won’t find anything here anyway”

Chanyeol look at him going and start taking things from the floor “you sure this is your house?” he saw the other stop turning around and looking at him weirdly asking “why?”

“I just never saw you in the neighborhood” Chanyeol tried to explain

“Ooh!” Baekhyun nodded “well this isn’t my only house”

“And why they came to this one exactly?!” Chanyeol asked again

“Because this is the only one registered in my name” Baekhyun goes and continue arranging things

“You really keep surprising me, let me help you” Chanyeol said

Baekhyun just refused it “no need! You can go to your house it not that far I guess” he then look at the house “I will just be here all the night”

Chanyeol just didn’t bother to listen to him he take a broken vase and he said “where is the kitchen? I think I need a trash can”

Baekhyun knows that he won’t give a damn to any word he would say he just point to the direction and Chanyeol smiled going there, he gets in and was more shocked now even the kitchen was upside down “really they have the time for all this?” he said loudly and heard Baekhyun replying

“You think they came here by themselves! They are hackers they just open the door code, and other gang do the field jobs”

Chanyeol nodded in understanding and start to search for a trash can, the two stayed silently doing the cleaning till Chanyeol spoke again “where is your parents?”

“am living alone” Baekhyun directly answered

“Not in Seoul?”

Baekhyun stayed silent for a moment should he lie? Should he till the truth? But just keep himself busy with the staff he arranging he said “A single mother and I run away from the house five years ago? Maybe 6? I don’t remember”

Chanyeol stopped with wide eyes looking at him he couldn’t find the words to answer that reply “am sorry! I didn’t know” hoping his words doesn’t hurt Baekhyun because he usually not good at moments like these

“no one knows before you anyway” Baekhyun said not looking at him he move his hand to take some glass on the ground but he end up cutting his finger, Chanyeol was looking at him at the moment he just take his hand like there is nothing and continue to take the shuddered glass

“Are you okay?” Chanyeol moves to him taking his hand and seeing the cut

“Am fine! It nothing” Baekhyun take his hand off but Chanyeol took it back

“Stop acting look how it bleeding” he look around “let me grab something to bandage it” he said leaving him and moving searching for something in the kitchen he didn’t find any first aid there so he went to search for the bathroom he open a door and yes he found it, he goes in to the washbasin where the bathroom cabinet before he open it his eyes catch the bath, looking at it, it had some blood drips in the corner and some razors that probably been washed but not that washed because they were still there thrown randomly with blood in them, Chanyeol heart skip a beat thinking of the day he grabs Baekhyun and found bandages in his arms, he said it a kitchen accident that day, he look at the bath cabinet and open it to find just bandages with blood fingers print and some razors and sleeping pills, he take the bandage and left the bathroom hoping what he is thinking of, is not true.

He move his legs slowly to where Baekhyun was, he was already continuing cleaning

“are you that usual with it?” Chanyeol had to ask he can’t just leave his brain have an inside war thinking if he doing bad things to himself or not!

“What?” Baekhyun innocently answered

Chanyeol just stretched his hand with the bandage that have blood in it “is this blood yours?” with him saying that he clearly saw Baekhyun expression changed, shocked serious dark gloomy exposed he couldn’t say the exact word to describe how he looks right now but he tried to say again “I won’t judge you Baekhyun I just want the truth” he said putting the bandage in the side he gets near him taking his shoulders between hi arms “Baek! are you hurting yourself?”

Baekhyun just take his two hands off and turn around giving him the back side “we all have our secrets Chanyeol! So please don’t ask me, better if you leave now” he said then move to where the bedroom were going in and closing the door

The no denial really felt heavy on Chanyeol heart which mean he is, but why? Why a person like him a happy person a lively one do things like that? What he was hiding? No what happened in the past to make him do that?

Chanyeol move outside the house he open it and stayed there for few seconds, no he shouldn’t turn his back to him now! If he love him he should be by his side whatever past he have, Chanyeol slam the doors closing them and goes directly to that room where he just open the door and find Baekhyun sitting in the dark on the ground cuddling his knees to his chest and putting his hand on his arms pressing his fingers on them with all he might

“Baekhyun!” Chanyeol said going to him and leaning down to his level touching him but the moment he put his hand on him he felt the push coming from the small one with the scream of the word “LEAVE”

“NO!” Chanyeol screamed also in anger “AM NOT LEAVING YOU” he said taking Baekhyun arm with force and make him look at him by taking his jaw “AM NOT LEAVING” he said looking at each other eyes “I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU LIKE THIS I DON’T LIKE IT”

Seeing a tear coming from Baekhyun eyes his heart felt like it shuddered to million pieces “BYUN BAEKHYUN AM INSANLY IN LOVE WITH YOU” he just say it maybe it wasn’t the right time for a confession but no he doesn’t want him to think he is just a friend taking him in his arm with a very tight hug like it life depends on it “I don’t ask you to love me back! This is my heart and I couldn’t control it, and if I have to I will try my best to make you fall in love with me, I will never stop trying, your past your present I will never ask till the moment you will came by yourself and tell me, what am asking about is your future because it’s the only thing that am sure I will be in it and I will do whatever to let you happy everyday”

Saying what was in his heart the small one in his arm didn’t move, didn’t say a word they just stayed like that for few minutes till he heard a very weak “thank you” from him, Chanyeol smiled he smiled happily because he just give him a chance to prove how he is in love with him, he didn’t got rejected immediately so he was having hope he loosen the hug then look at Baekhyun who start wiping his tears

“Chanyeol” he heard him saying with a weak voice

“Yes!” Chanyeol asked anticipating what he will say to him

“Am hungry”

Chanyeol just laugh his heart out he really doesn’t know why but he found it funny he smiled “I will see what you have in the kitchen”

Baekhyun nodded and Chanyeol stands reaching his hand to him “let go together” he said not wanting to let him alone here so he was happier that Baekhyun take his hand and stand with him going to the kitchen

Chanyeol was just talking and talking to not make the place silent again he said whatever he had in mind food, job, company and everything Baekhyun was just hearing him and looking at his body that was busy preparing dinner for them, maybe…he thought…he will give himself a chance and if he broke his heart, he know the results…the one that he was going to do years ago in that bathroom…

“Am sorry for all of this, Lie or Die things, you sure have your own problems” he said stopping what he was doing

Baekhyun look at him with a rise eyebrow “told you it my choice”

“Your choice to what exactly?” Chanyeol huffs thinking that he just bluffing because he have no reason to do this, Not like he is in love with him or something because he said it before they are friends

Baekhyun shrugs “hoping to meet an old friend”

Chanyeol turn to look at him with a weird expression but he said he won’t ask anything about the past so he just turn back to continue cooking

“Lie or Die” Baekhyun said “I think I know one of them” he explained and Chanyeol look at him now more surprised

Baekhyun shrugs “well it not knowing that much, I just met him years ago when he was still developing the programme”

Chanyeol nodded in understanding the two stayed silent till Baekhyun spoke again

“Chanyeol! If someone want to hurt your dignity what he should do?” Baekhyun asked looking suspicious at him because if that supposed to be their next step

Chanyeol think about it “hmm…” he tried to find something but he couldn’t “I really don’t know”

Baekhyun just nodded “just be careful, because that should be their next target”

Chanyeol nodded “so you knew all along?”

Baekhyun shake his head a no “you can’t expect how even if you know what, I knew they will target your friends but I didn’t know it would be by phones and personal information”

Chanyeol put the plate on the table “let not talk about those things let have our first meal together” he said shyly and Baekhyun just laugh on that

The night has passed the two kept cleaning then just went to sleep Baekhyun insist on sleeping on the sofa because he doesn’t want the bed and Chanyeol go in the bedroom and slept there

Chanyeol wake up at 7 am he look at the big numbers in the wall, he stands and go to the bathroom he look at it then cleaning it before he leaves he should go to work today, he pass by Baekhyun who was sleeping there on the sofa he want to wake him but it the weekend maybe he should let him sleep more, he look at the table next to him and found his laptop there and the sleeping pills he clench his fist in anger, he thought he slept last night but obviously he didn’t, taking a deep breath he said with a very soft voice “see you later Baek” he leans down giving him a kiss in the forehead with a smile he left the house.

Heading to his house on foot Chanyeol start to hear a loud voices and a police whistle he move with fast steps to his house direction and yes reporters, police men, were all in front of his house, his mother was on the door talking to an officer and she was crying, not knowing what going on is his father okay? Bad ideas came across his mind he get closer but the moment the reporters spot him they run to his direction asking questions

“Is it true” “who was the girl?” “What your statement about it” “the girl in a critical condition”

Not knowing what they are talking about he saw the police coming to him and with force they grabbed him and handcuffs him

“What the ?” he said in anger “what going on?”

The policeman said “Mr. Park Chanyeol you are accused of the victim lee ji myeon you can keep silence till you have your lawyer”

Chanyeol shocked face was priceless he look at his mother who fall on the ground crying “who?!” he said but no one even listen to him because they forced him to get in the police car, and drive off with all reporters running and taking pictures behind it

Chanyeol was shocked he wants to say no but those guys won’t help him anyway then it hit him Baekhyun question last night
