CHAPTER 4

“I’m sorry, miss; we couldn’t find that name in the system and I cannot tell you more detail” the receptionist said to Tiffany. Today we went to the hospital nearby, trying to find any information about me as we just want to try our lucks. I let out a long sighed as we walked out from the hospital. 

“Don’t sad, Tae. We can try again” Tiffany tried to cheer me up.

“But I don’t want troubling you again…maybe I should give up and stay as ghost forever” 

*stop walking* I turned behind when noticed Tiffany wasn’t beside me. She frowned.

“W-why?...” I asked, feeling nervous. 

“Please don’t say like that” I looked at her. “I don’t like when people easily give up, Tae”

“B-but what if we cannot find anything. I-I mean what if that I really dead and my body was buried somewhere, not in the memorial park, not in the hospital but a place where no one know. We are just wasting our time. I don’t want to waste your time.” I was feeling down. 

“Tae…” she walked to me and tried to hold my hand but yeah… it stills same. I cannot touch her.

“You don’t know how bad I really wish I can hold your hand. It stresses me a lot, Tiffany. I couldn’t show it to you. You are just kind… I felt like I kinda use you”

“That’s not true, Tae. You never use me. I’m the one want to help you. If it is true that you’re dead, we should find the truth Tae”

“I’m just afraid, Tiffany...”

“You have me, Tae. You’re not alone” She smiled “So please don’t give up” I smiled warmly, trying to vanish all my bad feeling. 

“T-thanks, Tiffany…”

“Cheer up, Tae” I nodded. 

“Do you want to know what I always do when I’m sad?”

“What it is?”

“I go to my favourite place”

“Favourite place?”

“Shall we go there tomorrow? Who knows it can make you feel happy” 

“I’m curious to know…” I smiled.

“Y-your favourite place is mountain, Tiffany?” I said, panting harder as I followed the girl in front me, hiking the mount. We were at Mount Gwanaksan. She said that this is her favourite place. I was like what?! I haven’t goes hiking for so long. My stamina is really low right now you know. 

“I-I’m tired…” my mouth and my legs works at the same time.

“Fighting, Tae. We almost there” She walked backward to see my condition.

“Hahaha…” I glance at the signboard beside me. 1km to the top. “Wow, we almost there…” I said in sarcastic tone.

“Woof!”

“And why you have to bring prince along?” I said as I looked at Prince, walking faster in front tiffany but he get tied by a dog rope on his collar so he cannot went far. “Because he loves hiking. I always bring him here”

“Woof!” Prince barked while looked at me. I raised my brows. Why I felt like this dog tried mocking me. He then walked faster again. This won’t do! I won’t lose to this dog. I took a deep breath, collect all my energy and…. 

“Yahhhhh!” I run faster, passing Tiffany and prince. You see dog, I won’t lose to you! Heh!
