A Plan

"Your highness, did you call me?"

"Ah.. General Lee," the King smile at Kaeun, "Come here, I've got a serious thing to talk about"

She nod and made her way to stand closer to the King. 

"You remember Oubusha Empire?"

"Yes, your highness. I remember Emperor Oubusha and our mission to build connection with him"

'By sending a toddler to be their servant exactly..'

"I'm going to invite him for a meeting this week" he said, "Please prepare your men, and tell Yujin to prepare as well"

Kaeun nod, "Is there anything else Your Highness?"

"I'd like you to tell Yujin..." He sigh, look hesitant,

"Nevermind, you can go back to work"

Kaeun can sense how the air in that room become heavy when the King turn his chair around. She sigh softly before excuse herself to get out of the room. 

Once she's outside, she mumble to herself, "Both of them have a lot of difficulties to communicate with each other," she walk her way to the field, to meet her troop and sisters for training, "It'll be better if these two spend their time with each other more, that'll help"

The two of them stare at each other. Yujin was the first one who sigh and tear away from the awkward stare. 

"So..."

"I'll work on this part, are you okay with this one?"

"Uh... Yeah..." He said, looking at the paper in his hand, "Yujin-"

"If you're going to talk, then finish it first. I can't talk while working on assignment at the same time,"

His head hung low already. He took a seat on the opposite side of the table. 

They're stuck with each other again. After Yujin knock him out, Daniel didn't come to school for two days. Probably because of embarrassment. They'd likely avoid each other whenever they can but now, their class was supposed to work on assignment in pairs.

Magically, she end up with Daniel. 

It was rather a simple task. It's a class about National Defense and both of them are the best student at it. Doesn't take long for them to finish it up and getting back to the awkward silence. 

After a long long pause... 

It was Daniel who start to talk, "I'm sorry about before.. For... Insulting you"

She look at the window, to the field. Seems uninterested. 

"I do realize that I've been such a jerk at you.. I'm really sorry" he's trying to keep his composure by looking at Yujin but knowing that the girl is not paying attention make him feel so small. 

Now, Yujin take a look at him. His ears turned red, head hung low, clearly embarassing and feel bad. Probably he just realize that he's messing with King's daughter and he might get killed. 

She sigh before asking, "Are you sure you're sorry?"

"Yes I am... Your Highness..." He said it, his voice is clearly wavering. He's scared. Although Yujin wasn't mean to intimidate him, he could feel goosebumps all over his body when Yujin talk. 

"Then made an oath"

He look up, deep in confusion. Until he realize what she's asking. His eyes widened, he was flustered. 

"R-right now?"

"Yeah, why?"

Daniel is a part of another strong noble family. His family had the biggest influence for business. Duke Kang assigned to be the head of Ministry of Finance. Getting his son to make an oath for her, it'll help her once she took the throne. 

"Nothing... Your highness"

Yujin nod, "I'm waiting"

He nod, took a deep breath as he straighten his back. He look at Yujin, and start to deliver his oath, 

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully serve Prince Ahn of Liveth, and will to the best of my ability to preserve, protect and defend Prince Ahn with my who
