All The Trouble... For This?

Princess³ - Etiquette² = Chaos

Sitting on the softest, the most luxurious seats their tiny little asses have ever planted themselves on, Kim Dahyun and Son Chaeyoung are… As stiff as a motherf*cking board. Here’s the thing- They weren’t expecting for Mina to actually say yes. When they wrapped up the tour and escorted the princesses away yesterday, they honestly thought that was going to be the last of their interactions. Sure, they did offer to show them A Whole New WorldTM like the good-hearted schoolmates they are, but after conducting a tour that ended up in absolute chaos, they’ve confidently assumed that it’s far too late for them to repair the damages and the new students have already been scared away. Hell, a part of them were expecting for Mina to approach the principal and request to be placed in a different class… So to now be seated within the girl’s goddamn limousine feels like a fever dream. Still suffering in dead silence and being sandwiched in the middle, Chaeyoung’s far too stupefied by their current situation to even breathe properly. She’s scared that the sound of her being a normal, living person would somehow be an inconvenience to the royalty, so she’s currently dragging each of her inhales and exhales for as long as she possibly can, much more comfortable with the act of simping to the extreme and straight up dying instead. Dahyun, on the other hand, doesn’t even look human anymore. Her new level of paleness alongside of her extreme stiffness makes her look like a marble statue from the Renaissance period- That’s on the brink of shattering into a million pieces due to suffering from a great amount of internal stress. However… they’re not the only ones panicking in their seats. Myoui Mina’s actually feeling just as uneasy as the two shorties. She’s just doing a better job at hiding it, with the only visible hint being her fidgeting fingers. As one of the most introverted human beings to ever exist on the planet, she’s been internally dying throughout her entire day at school. Although she manages to withstand her faltering sanity ’til the very end, she was greatly struggling with maintaining a calm demeanour, especially so when her new classmates flocked to her side in hopes to get to know her better (and to further bless their eyeballs with her unearthly beauty). Usually, Mina doesn’t even allow her bodyguards to intervene with her business unless it was a matter of life and death, so it’s extremely safe to say that she was far too overwhelmed by everything to try and stop them from yeeting her classmates away today. … And yet, despite of saying all that, the Myoui princess ultimately agrees on joining their abrupt after-school hang-out. … You bet your she’s confused herself, too. Sure, her brain has determined that she would much rather head straight home and hide in her new bedroom until she’s forced to face the world again, yet the words that came out of were ‘okay, I shall inform my butler as soon as possible’ as if had a mind of its own. Perhaps she was possessed by something for a second there, but she’ll never get to know it herself. All she knows is that her ex-tour guides’ desperate-looking puppy eyes may be as affective as Sana’s (and boy they were desperate alright, since they legitimately thought their lives depended on it), and now she’s on her way to a random- meeting… which she still has no idea to what it’s about. It’s far too late for regrets. Making the first major movement since they’ve entered the luxurious ride, Son Chaeyoung has finally accumulated enough courage to move her limbs. She whips out her phone in hopes to check the time, yet just as she brings it to her face, the glorious intro to ‘PPAP’ starts blaring from her hands. That easily scares the living crap out of everyone present- including the chauffeur and the whole squad of buff bodyguards. Obviously embarrassed, she tries to pick up the call as fast as she can, but even that turns into a challenge. She fumbles uncontrollably with the device until she finally gets a firm grip on the bastard, becoming a stuttering mess. “H-Hello, J-Jihyo-unnie?” “Chaeyoungie? Where are you?” Jihyo’s voice easily transcends the phone’s internal speakers, allowing the others to hear her nice and clearly too (but RIP Chaeyoung’s eardrums). “I’ve just reached the gates and I don’t see you guys. Am I legally blind or have I been betrayed by my closest friends?” “O-Of course we’d never betray you, unnie!” the girl quickly shakes her head with Mina and Dahyun watching in Jihyo’s stead, “We were there for like 3 minutes or so, but then we had to run away because Mina-unnie’s somehow capable of attracting people’s attention just by standing there.” “Crap, I should’ve known better… sorry to make you guys go through all that trouble.” Jihyo sighs into the mic, “Where did you run off to, then?” “We’re hiding in the princesses’ car and we’re parked at the back. There’s no way for us to go incognito mode in this snake of a vehicle though.” “Yeah, perhaps don’t hide in a freakin’ limousine when you’re trying to avoid attention next time?” “Thanks for the tip, but it’s a lil’ too late, unnie.” Kim Dahyun finally breaks her self-given spell and returns to her original human state, squishing herself closer to Chaeyoung in order to join in on the conversation as well. “So how are we supposed to meet up with you now, unnie? We’ve still got a couple of people staring at us from the outside.” “Hmm… I don’t think it’d be smart for either of us to go join the other, so why don’t we just go our separate ways from here?” Jihyo suggests after a slight pause, sounding a bit distracted. “Maybe you can ask for a ride to our meet-up spot, which is just the café near Jeongyeon-unnie’s house.” “Unnie, you do realise we’ve only known that sunbae for a single day, right?” Chaeyoung shoots back, “You’re not friends with a pair of creeps.” “My bad, my bad- then, have you girls heard of One in a Million Café?” “Oh, I think Chaeng has randomly dragged ourselves in there once.” “Okay great, then I’ll see you girls there in around 10 minutes.” “Wait- you want us to go in there and meet up with the sunbaes first?” “Yup, so please keep them under control until I get there, Chaeyoungie.” “And how the hell are we supposed to do that?!” “I don’t know, but good luck.” And just like that, Park Jihyo hangs up on the call. Chaeyoung’s left with dangling wide open, almost looking like ‘The Scream’ by Edvard Munch. Rolling along with the art references, Dahyun’s now staring at her friend with the expression of this one medieval baby painting. Mina, who’s been quietly yet attentively listening to their conversation the entire time, subconsciously alters her posture to which she now resembles Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa… though she’s faint-smiling for the sake of masking away her growing anxiety. Once the tiger cub snaps herself out of her trance, she proceeds to turn towards the elegant swan with a sheepish grin on her face. “Um… sorry to bother you again, Mina-unnie, but do you think your driver can find a safer spot to drop us off? I highly doubt we can walk in peace if people see us getting out of your limo. I don’t think your bodyguards will be able to do anything to make things better for ourselves, either.” To everyone’s surprise, Mina can be seen smiling softly back at the girl, once again finding her to be rather adorable. “Of course, and that is not a problem nor a bother, so please do not apologise for it. May you repeat the name of our destination for me again, please?” Thus, Son Chaeyoung fumbles with her phone again, going above and beyond the girl’s request by pulling up the café’s location on Google Maps. Kim Dahyun manages to get away unscathed despite of meeting her friend’s eyes and clearly mouthing the word ‘simp’, but karma soon punishes her by making her (metaphorically, of course) sh*t herself when the car abruptly starts moving without a warning. She’s now gripping onto the door handle for dear life, incapable of getting used to the vehicle. To her greater dismay, their supposedly short ride gets dragged on for a much longer period of time. They did expect themselves to run into some obstacles along the way- but damn are there a lot of them. The limousine easily steals people’s attention left and right (since it is pretty hard
