Good Night, Sleep Ti... Nevermind

Princess³ - Etiquette² = Chaos

Scientific facts state that up to 60% of the human body is made up of water- And Park Jihyo swears in the name of God that she just lost more than 50% of that 60%. It’s not a likely occurrence for the student president to shoot herself in the foot, so today’s most definitely a special day… an exceptionally bad day. By putting herself responsible for an unconscious giant (whom she never knew existed until a few minutes ago), she earns herself an exclusive home-commute experience that she’ll probably want to delete from her brain as soon as possible. She praises Jesus when her Uber pulls up to the correct house, meaning the driver didn’t find her suspicious enough to drop her straight to jail. Hell, if she was in his shoes, she would’ve called the police on herself without a single hint of hesitation. ‘Hello officer’, she’d say, ‘there’s this weirdo shoving this unconscious tree of a human being into the back of my car, can you send some backup?’. But to her surprise, her ride home is perfectly smooth. Even when the vehicle comes to a stop, the driver says nothing but the most bored-sounding, monotonous ‘have a good evening’ Jihyo has ever heard. His extreme level of apathy makes it seem as if he wouldn’t even bat an eye if his passenger turns out to be a serial killer on the run (which is pretty damn similar to what the female student looks like right now), and boy is Park Jihyo impressed by his negative amount of s. Well, it’s for the better, so good for her. The student president is far too exhausted for explanations, so thank God than none was asked. She still has the task of getting themselves indoors, and that alone requires all the remaining strength she has left within her body. “Jesus-” she wheezes after she finally opens the door, the miracle only happening thanks to her head, shoulders (no knees nor toes), back, and booty. By the time they’re completely indoors, Jihyo’s already sweating like a wh*re in church, while Tzuyu’s… well, still very unconscious. She spends her final drops of energy on heaving her unexpected guest into her room and onto her bed, incapable of giving a damn about how there’s probably some nasty school germs, dirt from the gym floor, and a whole- ketchup stain on Tzuyu’s uniform. At this point, if Jesus Himself comes to her up to heaven, she’d welcome him with open arms and follow him without a single word needed. Her will to live is no longer to be seen, anyways. “I should… I should go take a shower…” Park Jihyo grumbles weakly to herself after lying on the floor for three solid minutes, finally regaining enough strength to move again. “I’ve never perspired this much in my life... nor felt this disgusted about myself, damn…” So after she cleans up the Jihyo-shaped sweat-puddle and double-checking to see if all four of Tzuyu’s long limbs are tucked safely beneath her blankets, she slowly drags her lifeless-self into the bathroom to revive herself with a much-needed shower. Knowing how much she deserved it, she takes her sweet, sweet time in there, soothing her sore body with cool water whilst scrubbing herself clean. She’s also pretending that her soul’s getting cleansed, though she knows too damn well she’s far too traumatised by her idiotic friends to ever recover. She can never look at jump ropes in the same way ever again. “What am I supposed to do with those idiots…” the girl sighs after partially drying her hair with a towel, soon wrapping it around her body. She didn’t bother grabbing a clean set of clothing beforehand, but it’s not like that actually matters, anyways. It’s her house, so even if she wants to go wandering around -, she has all the rights to do so. Only God can judge her- and God would probably be proud of creating such a masterpiece. Usually, she’s not the type to walk around the house with only a towel shielding her glory. However, it’s just that (as mentioned previously) her s are currently out of stock. Plus, she did say she’s going to be home-alone for the next couple of days. There’s absolutely nothing for her to worry about, right? … Ah, but she’s not home alone, is she? Unfortunately for Park Jihyo and her remaining three braincells, they end up getting reminded of that fact through the hard way. By ‘the hard way’, it means she finds herself entering a staring competition the moment she swings her bedroom door open. Her opponent, of course, is the convenient-for plot, now wide-awake Chou Tzuyu. Cue the loud- screaming of pure terror. And times that by two. They’re now in a spontaneous screamo duet, with Jihyo’s ear-piercing screech being the trigger to Tzuyu’s participation. In Park Jihyo’s defence, she’s facing a complete stranger head on with only a towel on. In Chou Tzuyu’s defence, she has no ing clue to what’s going on. Literally, the Taiwanese girl doesn’t even know where she is, let alone why there’s a screaming semi- lady before her. All she knows for certain are two things: 1. She needs explanations ASAP- lots of it. 2. The semi- chick has a pretty y bod’. … She’ll have to blame her childhood friend for contaminating her with The Gay. Amazingly, the girls each hold their high-notes for 30 seconds before Jihyo snaps out of it, realising that screaming’s not going to help her get dressed. ‘S-SORRY, JUST GIVE ME ONE SECOND!’ is all she shrieks before dashing towards her wardrobe, grabbing whatever her hands comes into contact first and yeeting herself out of the room once she feels like there’s enough clothing to cover herself up decently. Tzuyu, who’s once again left to be with nothing but her own thoughts in an unfamiliar room, has now accumulated 100 question marks above her head. Despite of getting head-shotted by a sturdy basketball, her memories are still intact and she can recall how the school’s indoor gym was supposed to be her last location… or at least it’s the last location she voluntarily walked into herself. Yet here she is, sitting above someone’s bed without knowing how the bloody she even got there. However, when Jihyo returns with an outfit that consists of a pair of booty shorts, a turtle neck, and her Adidas track jacket, Tzuyu doesn’t speak. Unfortunately, the basketball head-shot didn’t miraculously unlock immediate Hangul skills, hence she’s still incapable of communicating properly. All she can do is stare blankly back at the beet-red girl with her doe-like eyes. Jihyo (reasonably) becomes a bit confused to why her guest is so quiet, but luckily she’s able to muster up enough courage to break their silence first. “H-Hey uh... I’m really sorry that you had to see me in that state.” she tries her best to arch out a grin, looking incredibly awkward but adorable nevertheless. “I um, I didn’t expect for you to wake up while I was out, so that’s why I got carried away by my shock. I’m sorry if I startled you…” She shuffles uncomfortably when she receives nothing but silence. Tzuyu’s still boring holes into her eyes, though the tall girl’s intense gaze is intentional. The lost foreigner is trying her best to figure out what on Earth Jihyo had just said, after-all. Unable to understand anything other than the word ‘sorry’, Tzuyu’s hoping to get some hints through Jihyo’s body language and eyes. However, to her dismay, both Jihyo’s body and pupils are expressing the exact same thing- and that’s how she’s dying on the inside. Still, the room-owner’s not giving up on her self-claimed duty. She’s determined to treat her guest well, no matter what crazy sh*t led them to this point. “How’s um… how are you feeling?” There’s still no response. “D-Does your head hurt at all?” Another moment of silence. “Are you… are you okay…?” And all she gets is a single blink. Jihyo frowns as she tries to analyse her previous failures. There’s a hypothesis in her mind, but she’s not 100% certain. Hence, she crafts out a question that may help her figure things out. “Hey uh, can you hear me…?” And at last, the moment she’s been waiting for. Tzuyu finally switches up her answer of nothing… To an unstoppable sneeze. And that was it. Jihyo takes that as a ‘no’, which quickly turns her face from red to white. She can feel her heart dropping down to her stomach, her hands now covering her gaping mouth. “Oh my God.” she whispers in horror, her large eyes trembling within their sockets. Tzuyu merely tilts her head in confusion, understanding that Jihyo’s shocked but not knowing why. She can only stare on as Jihyo slowly points a finger at her face, the girl’s entire hand shaking uncontrollably as she comes to her own conclusion of: “Jeongyeon-unnie knocked you out so hard, you became deaf in both ea-” Annnd cue the doorbells. She ends up cutting her absurd ‘discovery’ off as she flinches from surprise (with Tzuyu flinching on the bed, too). Jihyo’s confusion comes from the fact that she didn’t invite anyone to her house, while Tzuyu’s still confused about… well, everything. It’s thanks to their confusion that they’re now frozen in their respective spots for a couple of seconds, with neither of them knowing what to do next. However, the unexpected visitor knows exactly what to do- And that’s to repeatedly assault the doorbell like there’s no tomorrow. It’s thanks to that unwanted hint, Jihyo can now identity who’

Chapter 11: OMG... just by reading the chapter also can feel the chaos!!!! I’m very curious what Tzuyu was trying to say to get that Google translate - some Korean typo from Tzuyu + google’s translation “at its best”! Hahahah. Was she trying to say to them that they can just follow her home later?!
