Moon Byul-Yi's POV

I heard muffled voices from a distant. There were so many of them I could not even tell where they came from. "Help!" I heard somebody screamed somewhere but they were overtaken by menacing growls soon after. I suddenly opened my eyes. Nightmares. It had been a long time since I had them. I reached for my phone to check the time but I was simply greeted by its blank screen. I put it in its charging dock before I washed myself clean.

I came home hours ago to an empty house. I could not find my family anywhere, however, I did find the letter my wife wrote. I read it again. My heart broke as I traced her handwritings. I did not go after her. If it's time she needs, I'm giving it to her. I wiped up my eyes and I then put the letter down. I walked into our walk-in closet. It's almost empty. She might be away longer this time. I could not get to her either. Her mother hated me and our relationship.
