Description

Prompt: Jinyoung was born in a family of celebrities. However, he is just a nerdy college student who aspires to be a manga artist. One day he is roped into filming a commercial where he wears a dress. Another actor on the set, Mark Tuan, mistakes him for a woman and falls in love at first sight. (based on the manga anime Love Stage!!)

Foreword

So this is my story for the markjin ficfest on twitter. It was supposed to start in the the beginning of September but it got postponed for an indefinite period of time. I didn't got any notice or reply to my mails since then, so I am seriously worried that the ficfest won't be happening in the near future. After waiting some time I finally decided to post this story on my own. I apologize in case anybody feels offended or hurt by my decision.

It turns out the similarities with Love Stage are reduced to the bare minimum though. And I kind of neglected the demanded YugBam side pairing and made them just have a real good friendship. Sorry for that. I still hope everyone will have fun reading this.

It became way too long for a one shot so I will post it in four chapters. The other three will follow quickly.

Chapter 4: So I just recently finished watching the Thai version of Love Stage, and started jonesing for this story. It truly is a joy to read. I love everything from the Group Chat of the Heroes (hilarious), to Mark's oblivious groping, and Youngjae figuring it out. This story is so much fun. I also love and appreciate the changes that you made to the story to make it your own. Thank you for giving me such a great place to come and revisit.

Chapter 4: A few of my favorite things about this story : Youngjae's snarky intelligence, Jackson narrating Mark's life, Mark's naivete, Mary-Kate and Ashley, every bit of the group chat of the heroes. I was having a kind of rough week, so I came here to cheer myself up. Markjin is my Disneyland ("The Happiest Place on Earth"), and this is one of my favorite rides in the park. If you ever decide to revisit this au, I do believe that there is plenty more gold to mine in these hills. The families alone would provide plenty of plot lines. Anyway I am hoping to read the next chapter of WE Are Wondrous soon. No pressure.
