Donghae wake up sobbing, his shaking waking up Hyukjae who quickly becomes alert at the sight of Donghae’s tears.

“Oh.” Brushing away the tears tenderly, “Tell me about them.”

Hyukjae is left frozen at Donghae’s words. Knocking their foreheads together, they’re close enough to breathe each other’s air. “You’re not lying to me, are you? You really saw me?”

Donghae nods, choking out a laugh when he sees Hyukjae’s eye dropping tears. “It was really us this entire time.”
