Moonlight 「 reposted 」

Taeyeon stopped playing the piano and turned around. Her eyes rolled in an instance as she turned back around to face the piano upon realizing that it was none other than Tiffany, who was clapping and approaching her from behind.

Tiffany smirked. She had her hands gathered on her lower back while she kept on staring at Taeyeon, who was obviously avoiding her.

"You've a lovely voice." Tiffany commented.

"..."

"No wonder Jessica fell in love with you."

"..."

"Oh." Tiffany cocked an eyebrow, "Are you sure you are going to keep ignoring me like this?" She refused to stop herself from tempting Taeyeon.

On the other hand, Taeyeon was not even considering the presence of the other girl and proceeded to continue playing with the piano.

Tiffany could not help but to get annoyed as seconds passed. She exhaled loudly, "You know what? it! I don't care at all!" She turned around, pretending to leave, in hope that Taeyeon will prevent her from doing so. No matter how impossible it was for such thing to happen.

"Hey." Taeyeon spoke up. Her eyes fixated on the piano keys.

Tiffany stopped with her arms crossed on her chest, "See? I know you can't resist me-"

"Don't forget to close the door after you get out."

"That's enough, Kim Taeyeon!" Tiffany turned back to Taeyeon. She straightened her arms on her sides and her hands were already forming tight fists.

Taeyeon was surprised when the dark haired girl suddenly raised her voice. She could sense frustration in her voice and it was not something usual. Nevertheless, she refused to budge.

"You 're killing me, did you know that?!" Tiffany's chest was heaving up and down and her eyes got watery, "Did you know how hard is it for me?! Did you think I'm enjoying this?! I know you can feel it, but you pretend like you don't! I don't ing care if you do that to Jessica, but I beg you, don't do the same thing to me! It hurts!"

"What are you talking about? If you are trying to, like, show me your acting skills," Taeyeon shooked her head, "This is not the place for you."

"I love you." Tiffany blurted out.

Taeyeon snorted with Tiffany's sudden confession and shook her head again in disbelief,  "You are not in your right mind."

"Yes! I'm not in my right mind for falling in love with you and betraying my own best friend!" Tiffany eventually burst into tears. It hurt her to think that it was nothing but a forbidden love. It hurt to stare into the eyes of someone that she was not supposed to fall in love with. It hurt to realize that she was betraying her best friend. She knew her foolishness but at the same time, she could not help it either.

Taeyeon was completely at a loss for words. She was stunned that she could not do anything other than looking at Tiffany. It was dumb to think that Tiffany could be so ignorant. Just like her.

"I'm sorry." Tiffany sobbed. She dropped her gaze onto the floor, witnessing her own hopeless tears. It was already so wrong to let her tears fall for the wrong person.

"You should apologize to your best friend. Not me." Taeyeon remarked coldly and left the scene heartlessly by slamming the door behind her.

Tiffany continued to cry her heart out in her attempt to get rid of the pain for being a complete fool. She could not deny it either that she felt more guilt for Jessica, her best friend. And she knew she had no one to blame but herself.

"I'm sorry."

Taeyeon  entered the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of orange juice from the refrigerator. She then took a seat at the dinning table, wetting her dry throat with the juice while playing with her phone.

Meanwhile, Jessica had just finished her lunch and she was washing the dishes at the same time when Taeyeon came. Knowing that Taeyeon would not lay a finger to do the housework, she voluntarily took in charge ever since their maid left for a reason that she had no idea about. Even so, she had no complaint at all.

Taeyeon sipped on her orange juice with her eyes glued on her phone and she accidentally spilled the drink on the table and stained her white blouse.

"For 's sake!" Taeyeon jumped up abruptly, which had caused the chair she was sitting at to fall backward.

Jessica turned to Taeyeon's direction almost immediately, thinking the latter had injured herself. After discovering the real situation, she instinctively grabbed a box of tissues and approached Taeyeon without hesitation.

Taeyeon kept on cussing under her breath for her own carelessness. She did not even bother to ask for help nor do anything to clean up the mess.

Jessica placed the box of tissues on the table and pulled out some with the intention to clean up the stain on Taeyeon's blouse.

Taeyeon, however, did not give Jessica a chance. She snatched the tissues from Jessica's hand before the latter could do anything on her. She tried to clean it on her own while ompletely ignoring her wife, who was just staring at her in a frozen state.

"Why doesn't it go away? !" Taeyeon muttered in frustration when she failed to clean up her blouse. In fact, she only made the matter worse. And she did not even realize that Jessica was already smiling while observing her behavior.

Jessica thought that Taeyeon was undeniably cute.

"Tae, I think... we have to wash it first." Jessica suggested timidly.

Taeyeon stopped upon hearing Jessica's words. She looked up at her from trying to clean her shirt and when she was about to open her foul mouth, she froze at Jessica's unexpected action.

Jessica gently brought Taeyeon's hands down while avoiding her eyes. She then carefully ed Taeyeon's blouse with care and tenderness. Her eyes were getting drowned with tears as she picked on the buttons, one by one, delicately.

"Wh- what are you doing?" Taeyeon frowned, getting flurstered.

"If love is too hard for you... at least let me carry my responsibilities as your wife." Jessica gave a little smile. Silently, she felt guilty every time she thought about their marriage. She felt that she had not become a good wife for Taeyeon. She thought that she had failed to fulfill the promises made on their wedding day. She felt guilty for everything they had to go through. She realized that love alone was not enough.

I want to be everything you need.

I crave to be everything you need.

"I want my presence to have meaning in your life."

"..."

"I want-"

"Stop it." Taeyeon brushed off Jessica's hands. If she was to be honest, she was touched by Jessica's intention yet for some reasons she felt rather annoyed. And thus, she walked away without guilt nor mercy and went straight to her bedroom without turning even once.

Again, Jessica let her tears flow freely. For the umpteenth time.

Taeyeon managed to obtain the pass to enter the nightclub after a few attempts to bribe the bouncer. Indeed, money was everything. As soon as she entered the unfamiliar place, a song titled Worth It by Fifth Harmony feat Kid Ink was playing. A frown formed on her face while she unknowingly covered her ears.

Afte minutes of wandering around aimlessly, Taeyeon spotted Yuri, who was dancing around and toying with random girls near the bar.

At the same time, Yuri also came to realize Taeyeon's presence. She took the glass of alcohol she prepared for her best friend and brought it to her. They came to face each other among the crowds, where people were busy dancing and getting drunk.

"Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!" Yuri greeted Taeyeon with a big smile as she handed over the drink to the latter.

"What are we doing here?!"

"Have, what else?!"

Taeyeon rolled her eyes in annoyence. She looked around and saw a familiar person, who was dancing like there was no tomorrow. But she just shrugged it off and averted her attention back to Yuri.

"Come on! Can't you feel the beat?!"

"It's too noisy and smelly!"

Yuri laughed at Taeyeon's words and shook her head in amusement. She started to do random types of dance and screamed amidst the loud music, acting like she was really enjoying the atmosphere surrounding them.

Feeling embarrassed by Yuri's behavior, Taeyeon decided to left her dancing all by herself before being accompanied by random people and went to take a seat at the bar. She would rather stare at the bartender until dawn than to watch and join the chaos around the place. Especially with Yuri.

Time passed and Taeyeon did not realize that she had drank the drink that Yuri gave her due to boredom. Instead of making her drunk, she suddenly felt dizzy.

At the same time, an intoxicated female dressed in a short black dress took the seat beside Taeyeon, who was slowly losing her consciousness.

Taeyeon rested her elbows on the bar and began to rubs her fingers on her temples, gently massaging the areas in order to get rid of the dizziness with her eyes tightly closed. She was mentally hoping the dizziness would be gone soon but it was actually getting worse.

"Hey! Kim Taeyeon! Are you okay?!"

Taeyeon could hear Yuri's voice out of nowhere. But she did not have the strength to even turn her head nor to find the voice. She felt like her head was going to explode in a second. Even then, she tried to gather her strength to stand up with the thought to leave the place.

"Taeyeon! Where are you going?!"

Step by step was taken and Taeyeon was already unable to hear anything and all she could see was the darkness. The throbbing feeling in her head was getting louder and her legs became weak which made it harder for her to even stand properly.

In the end, Taeyeon completely lost her strength and collapsed.
