“missed me sweetie?” lisa asked as soon as i entered the door; finally home after serving half a day at the hospital i work for.
she was leaning over the kitchen counter holding up a bottle of wine celebrating both of our returns back home. she almost always just emerges out of nowhere.
“let me think.. maybe i did”, i with a smile while i stepped out of my shoes.
“maybe?” she grinned, stealing a strawberry from the countertop and popping it into , “i think you’re lying, darling.”
“no i’m not,” i leaned back against the wall, playfully arching my brow slightly, “i don’t lie.. well, maybe sometimes.”
“i don’t believe that”, she placed the bottle of wine on top of the counter and walked closer to where i was standing.
she rested her arms on my hips, leaning into my face slightly.
she always enjoys leaving me all flustered and wanting.
“okay.. maybe i did miss you,” a playful grin formed upon my face as i winked at the tall blonde in front of me, “..a little.”
“a little?” lisa knitted her brows, “well if you didn’t miss me, then perhaps i should be going”, she said as if about to pack her bags.
“to where?” i challenged.
“to a time wherein you did,” she replied feeling victorious over this little flirting game that we’re playing.
“fine.. i did miss you”, i sighed as i surrender.
