DARA'S POV

 

"Just die!"

 

I was thrown hard to the wall, that it's hard for me to stand.

 

"Mom please don't do this to me.."

 

I'm crying helplessly.

 

 

My mom is holding a knife. Little by little she's coming toward my direction

 

 

"Why do you need to ruin everything!"

 

 

"Mom..."

 

I'm too afraid, but all I can do is to look at my mother.

 

 

Mom reaches my direction, and hold my face tightly as if she wants to cut off my head.

 

"Mom please... Stop this..."

 

Mom looks directly to my eyes. She looks like she's possessed as she looks at me.

 

"Tell me Dara, do you love mom?"

 

"Mom... Please it hurts..." 

 

All I can do is just to cry.

 

"Tell me Dara, my baby.." she caressed my face using the back of the knife she is holding.

 

"Mom... I'm begging you please stop this.."

 

I cried and plead helplessly.

 

"YOU UNGRATEFUL ! I'M ASKING YOU IF YOU LOVE YOUR MOM!"

 

She pointed the tip of the knife on my neck... 

 

"I.." 

 

I can't continue what I will say, I'm afraid... I fear my mother

 

"I? yes baby? What do you want to say? Mom is waiting."

 

My mother looks at me and then looks at the knife she was holding.

 

"I... I... I love you mom..."

 

My mother smiled weakly and then hugged me.. I cried silently...

 

I thought everything is alright. 

 

"Since you love me baby. Can you do me a favor?"

 

My mom looks into my eyes once again.

 

"W-what's that mom?"

 

 

She smiles, but not the smile I wanted to see.

 

"Can you kill someone for me, because she's the reason why you're mom is sad."

 

 

I was shocked. I can't move. My mom is asking me to kill a person.

 

 

"M-mom I-I c-can't."

 

I see the irritation in the eyes of my mother.

 

"Don't worry baby, you'll not be put in jail."

 

 

"But mom killing someone will put me to jail."

 

"Don't worry, this will be easy..."

 

"Mom it's..."

 

I was about to say something when my mother puts her finger to lips telling me to shut my mouth.

 

 

"Shhhh... Baby. Will you not ask first who will you kill?"

 

 

I don't know, but it's as if that there's something telling me, not to ask the question.

 

 

"Come on baby, ask your mom."

 

she's really waiting to ask me the question.

 

 

"W-Who is it m-mom?"

 

 

She then looks once again to me.

 

 

 

 

"It's YOU baby" then she smiled innocently.

 

I was horrified... It seems everything stop..

 

 

 

"M-mom..."

 

"Can you do it for mom Dara?" it's as if she's waiting me to say yes.

 

"Mom I c-can't"

 

 

No... I can't...

 

 

 

 

 

 I can't kill myself..

 

My mom stands in front of me and holds tightly the knife.

 

 

"I'm trying to be a good mother here baby. But you disobey your mom. Don't worry baby since mother know's best, I'll do the best for you."

 

Mom lift high the knife she was holding.

 

"M-mom..."

 

"Bye my ing daughter!"

 

 

Then I saw the knife which is about to kill me.

 

 

 

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

 

 

 

 

"Dara! Wake up!"

 

What happened?

 

"Are you alright?"

 

I see the worried face of face of Jisoo. But still I can't move.

 

"You're just having a dream."

 

"Dream?" I asked 

 

"Yes... I was really worried. You didn't even respond when I'm calling you."

 

"Jisoo..."

 

"Yes? Do you need water?"

 

She immediately gets the water an assists me.

 

 

"It's not a dream."

 

I look at the glass I was holding.

 

 

"Dara.."

 

"It's a nightmare Jisoo.."

 

Jisoo holds my hands to comfort me.

 

 

"It's your past again..." 

 

 

I don't know what to say. I just keep silent. 

 

 

That nightmare... When will it stop following me?

 

 

 

JISOO'S POV

 

I'm worried. Yes I'm really worried to my best friend.

 

 

I know.. It's her past again

 

Why would an angel like her be punished like this. She's too good to experience all the hardships in life.

 

I look at Dara who only looks at nothingness. 

 

I wish I can do something for her.

 

 

What can I do??? Jisoo think...

 

 

I'm biting my nails, going back and forth, thinking of what could make Dara happy.. Then a book falls down because of what I'm doing. 

 

 

AHA!!!! 

 

 

 

"DARA MY LOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

 

 

Dara just look at me with no excitement

 

 

"Why are you shouting Jisoo? You're just near to me as you can see."

 

 

"Aixts... Can't you see I'm excited here?"

 

 

"And what is the excitement all about?"

 

 

I happily cling to the arms of my best friend.

 

 

"Hmmm... you know what?"

 

 

"I don't know." she answered quickly 

 

 

"Yah! Dara! You're so mean... jeez.."

 

 

"But I really don't know." she said innocently

 

 

really... this girl...

 

 

 

"You'll come with me."

 

 

"No, thanks."

 

 

She said nonchalantly

 

I immediately pouted.

 

 

"You're really mean today. You promise me that next time I'll ask you out, you'll come."

 

 

I stomp my feet and face my back at her.

 

Come on best friend, fall to my act.

 

"But you'll just go to the bar again Jisoo ah"

 

 

"Who says I will go there?"

 

I irritably said.

 

"Then where my good best friend?"

 

 

"Tsk... I'm saying here that we'll go to NATIONAL... LIBRARY..."

 

 

I really emphasized the place, if I know Dara is really addicted to books.

 

I heard no response. this is not what I expect.... I'm curious, so I immediately face the direction where Dara was, but she's not there.

 

 

"Yah! Dara!"

 

 

Where did that girl go? She just left me here? I know that I'm too loud. But leaving me here?Jeez... 

 

 

"DARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 

 

"Yah! Why are you shouting. You look like an amazona!"

 

 

 

I saw Dara already dressed up. 

 

 

I immediately grin..

 

 

"So, I thought you're not interested."

 

 

"Well if it's not about books, I will not come."

 

 

"Tsk... nerd"

 

 

I then cling my arms again to my best friend...

 

 

"Whatever.."

 

We laugh to our silliness and went to the National Library.

YG'S POV

 

"King, the lady is already here."

 

"Let her in"

 

A lady wearing the habeok went inside, and directly met the eyes of the king. She then bowed as a form of respect.

 

 

"It's been a long time king."

 

 

"Yes.. Lady Gummy.. It's been a long time that you didn't even visit this palace."

 

 

The lady smiled timidly,

 

 

"I'm sorry king. It's just that I'm busy reading what Gods want to say."

 

 

"So did you get realization on those busy days of yours."

 

 

The king get the glass of beverage brought by the maid. 

 

 

"Why suddenly ask for that king? Why not just get straight to the point. It will be easier."

 

 

The lady directly look to the intimidating eyes of the king.

 

 

"The prophecy when will it happen?"

 

 

"You know the answer to that king, no one can say when will that happen."

 

 

The lady stands near the window and looks at the sky.

 

 

"Are you afraid king?"

 

 

 

The king sarcastically smiled. 

 

 

 

"I'm hypocrite if I will say I'm not lady. But I'm also waiting for that day to come."

 

 

 

"I'm also waiting king. I'm curious of what that chosen one can bring to this kingdom. Will it be a recreation or destruction?"

 

 

Both the Lady and King look at the moon which is the only thing that lights up the whole kingdom
