Seems the day is just repeating..

Smile, because there's nothing I can do about it.

"Oh Jisoo!" I smiled widely to this beautiful girl.

Whenever I look to this girl, I can see the face of a woman who seems problem is not part of her life.

 

"Sorry, Jisoo.. but I can't.."

 

I'm not yet done explaining when she speaks

 

"You have part time job again and you can't join me. You need money for a living. No one will suffice your need, so you have no choice but to work all day and night. Is that what you will say?"

 

I just smiled timidly, feeling embarassed that she already memorized my repetitive excuse whenever she will ask me out.

 

"Come on Dara, just join me. it's just one night. I'll pay everything, just accompany me. We'll just go to the bar and party."

 

"Jisoo, you know... even it's just one night, that means a lot to me cause every minute is a big deal in my life."

 

I can see the pity in her eyes. I don't want to be pitied. I smiled once again to Jisoo.

 

"Don't be disappointed Jisoo."

 

"Tell me Dara, how many part time job, do you have right now?"

 

"I got 4 part time jobs and I'm really happy with that."

 

Jisoo sigh. And with that sight, I know that she gives up in convincing me to accompany her.

 

"Ok. I think, I can't really change your mind. So I'll better be going."

 

I smiled at her.

 

"Sorry once again Jisoo... Maybe next time."

 

"When is that next time? Aigoo... Dara..."

 

When Jisoo is at the door, she called me once again.

 

"Dara..."

 

"Yes?"

 

I asked confusely.

 

"Take also a rest, you also have life, remember that."

 

After saying that, she just left...

 

I just look down... trying to figure out..

 

I also have life?

But why do I feel dead inside?

I went out the store.

 

I can see alot of people laughing with their friends and family. The sound of the place is full of joy. I look at myself on the mirror.

 

Do I really belong to this place?

I just bite my lip trying to suppress the emotion building inside me.

 

I look at the sky, it's dark but still there are lights given by the stars.

 

"I wish somehow I could also be a star.."

 

"You're already a star, my baby."

 

Am I? What a foolish idea.

 

I started to walk, letting the past eat me...

 

 

This is my life... This is the life of a simple girl.

 

A life of a woman who's still looking the reason of her existence.

A lady wearing a haebok can be seen looking at the sky.

The lady just nodded and look once again to the sky.
