8:45am and we’re still both stuck in the middle of the road turned into a big parking space due to a massive intestine-like traffic. 

‘That’s it I’m taking the shortcut.’ I managed to pull the car and dodge it towards the left to make a turn. But as soon as we’ve almost completed the turn, we were hit. It wasn’t an alarming hit but we were both shocked by the loud thud and made the car lurch forward a bit. What a great day to get ing fired isn’t it? Great job Mina, great job. I grabbed my hair in frustration and fixed it right away. Plastering a smile on my face,  I got off of the car to meet this lunatic driver who bumped onto my car. I walked towards the car only to see that it’s a C-class Mercedes Benz. It had fully black tinted windows that’s why I couldn’t figure out if it’s a male or a female. Must’ve been a female to drive this bad

‘Woah this guy is piss head rich.’ I muffled under my breath.

Before I could even stand by the driver’s door and knock on the window, the driver stepped out of the car and out of surprise it was a guy. He wore a grey check long coat with a white turtle neck inside, maroon trousers and shiny platform brogues. The guy was magnificently tall maybe around 6’0 or 6’1, bulky but a y kind of bulky, hair slicked back black and skin a little bit tanned for a Korean man. Oh god he’s so attractive. He walked towards me with a straight face, mysterious but not offensive. He stood in front of me and mouthed,

‘Didn’t you saw the sign?’ He pointed at the blue circular sign showing a picture of an arrow turning left with a big red circle and cross on top of it.

God. It was the no left turn sign. Since when was it placed there? No wonder I kept paying charges for driving on the wrong roads. 

‘Oh.. uhmm..yeah..shjoldn hve not..’ I was left in awe not only by my honest mistake but by his presence too.

He looked flustered by my gibberish language. For a minute I couldn’t speak properly.

‘She meant sorry and she knows she’s in the wrong. We’re just rushing to go to work because of this traffic, me and my sister got caught up.’ Minji reprimanded whatever it was that escaped my mouth and pinched my left hand.

‘Oh yes, I am truly sorry about that. I will pay for your car and any other repairs.’ I insisted.

He chuckled and it was the cutest thing that I’ve seen this whole morning. I was slightly enlightened when I saw his smile, but the next words that came out of his pipe hole were contradictory to his angelic laughter. 

‘You won’t be able to afford it. Plus you work a 9-5 shift of what 5 out of 7 days? Earning minimum wage an hour? Surely you can pay enough for your cheap car.’ He smirked and chuckled that made me so annoyed.

I was about to say something but he cut me off. 

‘Here’s my business card, call me when you’ve got the money to fix my car.’ He handed it over after he pulled it out from his LV wallet.

 ‘In the meantime, I’ll get your plate number and pay you any expenses for the repairs or might as well replace your car. Might be more worth it.’ He smirked again to annoy the out of me.

Again, I couldn’t speak nor mutter a single word when I looked at the card in my hand and my eyes widened when I saw what company he was working for.
