Changlix ft. Jeongchan & Minsung

Straykids Oneshots (BXB)

“I don’t understand why I have to come with you”, Felix sighed, getting dragged along by one of his best friends Chan. Because I don’t want to go alone”, Chan retorted matter-of-factly . “Yeah, but why ask me? You could’ve asked Woojin hyung or Jisung. Besides, I don’t even like coffee”, Felix whined. “They had to work on a project and you know you can also get other drinks at a café. Now quit your whining or else I won’t pay for you”. That seemed to make Felix shut up, because although he would’ve liked to annoy his hyung some more, he was too broke to afford anything from the café.

The two boys walked across campus. Letting the sun hit his face, Chan hummed in satisfaction. “It’s way too hot today”, Felix moaned, shielding his eyes from the sun. “We used to live in Australia mate, how could you not be used to a little bit of heat. It’s not even that hot”. “Look who’s talking. You look like you haven’t seen the sunlight in years”. Chan let out an offended scoff accompanied by one of his signature eye rolls, whilst Felix doubled over laughing at his own joke.

Suddenly deciding a little extra teasing couldn’t hurt, Felix smirked before opening his mouth once again. “I get that you like that new barista, but do you really have to visit this café every day. Grow a pair and ask him out already”. That seemed to have struck a chord with Chan, as a frown took over his features. “First of all. He doesn’t work there every day, I only go on the days he’s working”, Chan stated. “Real smooth and unsuspicious”, Felix muttered under his breath. “And second of all”, Chan continued, sending Felix a small death glare at his not so quiet remark, “he probably doesn’t even know I exist”. Felix let out an exasperated sigh at Chan’s last remark. He was convinced that the younger worker had definitely noticed his hyung. He literally went to the café every day the younger was there, how could he not have noticed. Felix, as well as his two other friends, had grown tired of Chan’s constant love-struck rambling about this so called ‘Jeongin’.

As the two boys entered the café, the sound of a tiny bell could be heard, alerting the baristas that new customers have arrived. Chan was immediately greeted by a cheerful boy who was in the midst of operating the cash register, his smile so wide you could spot his braces from a mile away. “Felix recognised the boy as Jeongin, all thanks to Chan’s endless descriptions of said boy. Chan struck up a conversation with the boy, his eyes disappearing into crescents, whilst Felix stood to the side awkwardly, eyeing the two’s conversation a bit before deciding to go sit down in a booth in the corner of the café and wait for Chan there. He was convinced the older knew his order anyway. Taking his seat, his attention was still on the two boys, who seemed to be happily chatting away, both seemingly having forgotten about their surroundings. Felix grabbed his phone from his pocket, deciding on playing a game, as he was beginning to feel bored.

A few minutes later, Chan finally decided to join him, as one of Jeongin’s co-workers called him over. Chan was practically beaming with happiness, the slightest shade of pink still dusted on his cheeks. “They’ll bring our orders soon”. Felix looked up from his phone and nodded in response, before looking back down at his phone, leaving Chan to his business of blatantly staring in Jeongin’s direction.

It only took a few seconds before Felix got annoyed at Chan’s behaviour, internally sighing in the process. Chan was definitely smitten and, although Felix thought it was extremely cute, he felt like he was already third-wheeling, even though the two weren’t dating yet. Already bored with the game he was playing, he closed the app before opening his twitter and leisurely scrolling through his feed, patiently waiting for his tea and cake to arrive.

Felix expected Jeongin to be the one to bring Chan and his’ order to their table, so he was pleasantly surprised when another dark-haired boy placed his drink and cake in front of him. Felix couldn’t help but stare at him as he walked away from their table, his heartbeat increasing rapidly. The boy was slightly shorter than Felix himself and he wore an annoyed expression on his face. His mood seemed the exact opposite of Jeongin’s, who was still smiling brightly behind the counter, sending quick glances in Chan’s direction, before blushing and turning away when their eyes met. Chan, who was now twirling the spoon in his coffee, noticed Felix’ sudden change in attitude, as the latter’s eyes were still stuck on the servers retreating figure. He tapped the younger’s shoulder and, when he got his attention, suggestively wiggled his eyebrows at him. This in turn caused a blush to appear on Felix’ face. “What are you doing? Stop wiggling you’re eyebrows at me, you look like an idiot”, Felix groaned, clearly embarrassed that he had been caught staring at a stranger by none other than his lunatic of a best friend. “Don’t even try to deny it Felix, you’re interested in Changbin aren’t you?” “No I’m not”, Felix denied. “This is the first time I’ve ever seen this guy, I don’t know nor like him. I was just curious. How do you even know his name?” “It was on his nametag, which you would’ve noticed had you not been too busy staring at his face”, Chan teased before slowly sipping on his coffee. Felix let out a huff in response, trying to think up a comeback but ultimately failing to do so. It didn’t matter anyway, as Chan already had his full attention on Jeongin once again.

The two ended up spending a lot longer in the café as Felix would’ve liked, all courtesy of the incredible Bang Chan. Rather than just walking in for a few minutes, they spent almost an hour in the café already and it looked like Chan had no intentions to leave anytime soon. Felix wouldn’t have minded, hadn’t Changbin disappeared in the back of the café after bringing them their order. Not having anything to look at, as he had already remembered all the details of the décor of the café and as he had already checked every single app on his phone, was really starting to bore Felix. Chan had literally not said a single word to him ever since they set foot in the café, except for when he was teasing him about Changbin, and Felix had had enough of it. He pocketed his phone and got up, finally grabbing Chan’s focus away from Jeongin. “Where are you going”, Chan asked worriedly. “Home”, Felix said curtly, already heading for the door. “Wait for me”, Chan practically yelled at him, standing up and walking over to the clearly grumpy younger. “Channie hyung”, none other than Jeongin suddenly called. Said boy ran over to the older two, handing Chan a folded piece of paper , cheeks dusted in pink, before running back to the counter. Chan gave the younger one last smile before Felix and him left the café.

The way back to the Aussie’s shared dorm was painfully silent at first, as Felix was still grumpy about what he called ‘a wasted hour’, but Chan soon apologised to the younger for ignoring him and the conversation started back up again, both boys having some interesting news they had to tell the other. Both boys had a project coming up, which meant they would have to manage when they had people coming over to their dorm. Chan had been informed by his music teacher about a composing project, which he would get more details on later, whilst Felix’ dance teacher had given his class the task of creating their own choreography, something Felix was both very excited and nervous about. Luckily, he managed to get paired up with Minho and Hyunjin, both incredible dancers and his two closest friends in that class, who were also coming over to their dorm later today. Chan nodded in response, informing the other he had work tonight anyway, so the three boys could work in peace.

Later that day, after Chan had left for work, Felix was lazing around on his bed, waiting for Minho and Hyunjin to arrive so they could start brainstorming about their choreography. Felix tried to come up with some ideas, but every time he tried his thoughts drifted off to the short male from the café. ‘He was pretty handsome’, Felix thought to himself, before quickly shaking his head, pulling himself out of his daze. What was he thinking? He had only just met this Changbin guy and didn’t even know anything about him except for his name. He definitely shouldn’t be thinking about the other like that. Suddenly, the door to his dorm swung open, making a loud noise as it smashed into the wall. Felix jumped in surprise, laying a hand over his hammering heart, the empty piece of paper and pen he was holding discarded to the side, as Hyunjin and Minho noisily entered his room. “Jesus Christ, haven’t you guys heard of knocking before?” “You knew we were coming”, Minho shrugged before plopping down on Felix’ desk chair, grabbing a notebook and pen from his backpack. Hyunjin plopped down next to Felix on his bed, slinging his arm around the blonde’s shoulder. “So where do we start?” Felix asked, still having zero ideas in mind. “Let’s just listen to the song a couple of times and spit out some ideas afterwards”, Hyunjin proposed, the other two nodding in agreement.

A couple of days later, Hyunjin, Minho and Felix were in their assigned practise room, testing out some of their choreography, making adjustments and filling up some of the empty parts they had left. “Alright guys”, Minho spoke up, dabbing the sweat off of his forehead with his towel, “ten minute break”. The two others let their tired bodies hit the floor, Felix immediately chugging down the entire content of his water bottle. “I’m going to refill my bottle, I’ll be back in a few”, the blonde announced before jumping back on his feet and exiting the room. He stopped by the little boys room, quickly doing his business and filling his water bottle at the taps. Upon exiting the toilets, his gaze fell upon two boys, who were making their way down the hallway. One he could easily recognise, by both stature and voice, as Jisung, one of his closest friends, whilst the other, he wasn’t too sure about. The other was even shorter than Jisung and he was wearing a cap, making it impossible for Felix to see his face. “Hey Felix”, Jisung yelled upon spotting his Australian friend, “what are you doing out here looking all sweaty, I thought you had class. “I do”, Felix replied, still slightly out of breath. “Dance class”, the blonde continued, “Minho, Hyunjin and I are busy choreographing and now were on a quick break. “Where?”, Jisung suddenly asked extremely seriously, confusing Felix. “Third practise room to the left, why do you need to know?” Jisung immediately ran off in the direction of the practise room, leaving Felix’ question hanging in the air. Suddenly an unknown voice spoke up. “Jisung asked Minho out yesterday and apparently Minho told him he’d have an answer tomorrow. It’s all he has been talking about today. I’m Changbin by the way”, the dark-haired male said, stretching out his hand for Felix to shake. Felix’ eyes widened as he stared at the male who had been terrorising his mind, completely dumbfounded. ‘Changbin has really nice eyes’, he thought to himself as he cleared his throat. “Ah yes”, Felix replied hurriedly, realising he was probably staring, shaking the other’s warm hand shyly, a blush creeping up his neck. “You work in the café on campus. My name is Felix, but you probably knew that already”. The other boy nodded, an awkward silence surrounding the two boys as the conversation died down. “I have to go back to the practise room”, Felix stated, looking at the time on his phone. “ Is it alright if I tag along?”, Changbin asked. “I have to fetch Jisung, we have a class together in a few minutes and I know he’s going to forget about it, seeing as he is with Minho”. Felix nodded and the two boys walked side by side towards the practise room.

Upon entering, the first thing that caught Felix’ eyes was Jisung, who was cuddled up in Minho’s embrace. It was quite the sight, Felix thought to himself, but cute nonetheless. “Yah Jisung, our class starts in two minutes on the other side of the building. Get your up right now, or I’m going to be late because of you”, Changbin said angrily. Honestly, the short boy didn’t sound threatening at all, Felix thought he looked endearing even, trying to look all angry, but Jisung stood up nonetheless, clearly embarrassed about his earlier position, before walking out of the room after Changbin, shouting a quick ‘I’ll text you later’ to Minho. “So…”, Felix said, voice trailing off, “you and Jisung are dating now?” Minho nodded in response before looking down to his lap, fiddling with his hands, clearly not wanting to talk about the subject any longer. It was the first time Felix ever saw Minho acting shy, so he figured he must really like Jisung. “Let’s continue with our choreography, shall we”, Hyunjin suddenly spoke up, startling the two other males who were clearly elsewhere with their thoughts. Hyunjin merely snickered at the two before turning on the music.

"Oi Felix", Chan yelled across the campus, "wait for me". The curly haired boy ran up to the blonde, slinging his arm around the younger when he was within reach. "Hi", came the youngers distant response. "What's up with you?" Chan questioned. Felix' eyes were trained on the ground, his eyebrows knotted in confusion. Silence engulfed the Australian duo as Felix’ lips remained shut and he was lost in his own world. Chan decided not to pry and the two walked back to their shared dorm, Chan completely forgetting his plans of visiting the café. He was more worried about his best friend, whom he had never seen in such a state before. He could always text Jeongin later. He knew the younger would understand. Besides, the two had planned a meet-up, definitely not a date, tomorrow, so he wouldn’t have to miss the youngers smiling face for long.

As soon as Felix entered the room, he let his tired body flop onto his bed, physically exhausted by the choreographing he had done earlier today and mentally exhausted by his constant thoughts of a certain black-haired boy. A long sigh escaped his lips as he snuggled under his covers. "Hey Felix", Chan tried again, "I've noticed you're not feeling well and you don't have to tell me what is bothering you right now, but I want you to know that I have some people coming over later today, so be prepared for some visitors". "Can't you call them off or something", Felix whined from under his covers. "I wish", Chan replied, "but we have to work on that music project I told you about". "Alright, but I really want to sleep at the moment. Please tell me there aren't too many people coming over". "Don't worry bro, it's just Changbin and Jisung. I'll tell them to be as quiet as possible. We're only writing lyrics today, so there shouldn't be too much noise". "Did you just say Changbin", Felix said, shooting up into a sitting position, suddenly wide awake. "Yeah", Chan replied warily, "is there something wrong with that?" "No, not at all, why would something be wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong, He seems like a cool dude", Felix said, a light blush creeping on his cheeks. This didn't go unnoticed by Chan, whose worried expression turned into a sneaky one. "Do you, perhaps, like Changbin? Is that why you weren't responding to my questions before?" Chan questioned. Felix' face grew even more red and the boy quickly threw his covers back onto him, letting out a squeaky 'no way' in the process. "He'll be here in an hour", Chan teased before sitting down at his desk, headphones on his head as he started working on some beats for his project.

Felix ended up falling asleep not long after his and Chan’s short conversation and he remained that way until he felt a heavy wait on top of him. “Wakey, wakey”, Jisung teasingly cooed, Felix’ hair with one of his hands while propping himself up with the other in an attempt to not completely crush Felix. Opening his eyes, Felix grumbled incoherently before closing them once again at the satisfying feeling of Jisung’s hand combing through his hair. “You tired?” Jisung asked, not bothered by their close proximity in the slightest. Felix let out a low hum in response, slightly nodding his head as well. “Made some good progress after I left?” Jisung questioned jokingly, receiving another hum and nod from Felix. “Minho hyung seemed particularly inspired and motivated after you left”, Felix teased, opening his eyes and letting out a grunt as Jisung stopped combing his hair and started hitting him on the chest. The two boys eventually ended up as a giggling mess, Jisung promising to tell Felix the details of how his relationship with Minho started.

The two boys were interrupted by a stern cough and as Felix looked up, he saw an angry an annoyed looking Changbin. Chan was stood behind him, clearly amused by the whole situation. Jisung, sensing danger emanating from Changbin’s aura, quickly scrambled off of Felix’ bed, landing on the floor with a loud thud. ”We’ve got a project to work on, so let’s get started”, Changbin stated, ignoring the whines and moans coming from Jisung. “Do you need me to leave?” Felix asked Chan, not wanting to be a bother. He was honestly extremely intimidated by Changbin, who really looked like he could kill someone right now. He felt uncomfortable and sad, his thoughts coming to the conclusion that Changbin didn’t seem to like him at all. Felix wanted nothing more than to leave and go on a walk to try to clear his mind and he was hoping Chan would tell him to go so he’d have an excuse to leave. Fate, however, seemed to have something else in mind, as Chan replied with a ‘nah, you’re good, just try to make as little noise as possible’. Felix quickly grabbed some of his homework from his bag as well as his headphones and sat down at his desk, trying to ignore the burning stares Changbin was giving him.

It was about an hour later when Felix couldn’t take it anymore. He had been stuck on the same question for at least twenty minutes and he just couldn’t figure out how to solve it. Suddenly a head appeared next to his, which belonged to none other than Changbin, who had one finger pointing to some formula in Felix’ textbook, whilst his other hand was timidly placed on Felix’ shoulder, not that the younger was complaining. Felix took his headphones up and looked around, not seeing Chan and Jisung anywhere. As if he could read his mind, Changbin spoke up. “Chan hyung and Jisung went out to buy some dinner for the four of us. You need some help with your homework?”, he asked, the anger from earlier completely vanished. Felix only nodded, not trusting his voice to come out properly when his crush was at this close of a proximity. Changbin patiently explained everything that Felix didn’t understand, his voice calming and soothing, barely above a whisper. It didn’t take long for Felix to understand it and when he did, he let out a squeaky ‘thank you hyung’, which Changbin thought was very endearing. “You have a really nice voice”, Changbin suddenly said, making Felix blush even harder than he already was. “T-thanks”, he stammered, avoiding eye-contact. Time seemed to slow down for Felix, as he became extremely aware of everything Changbin did, ranging from his hand which was still resting on Felix’ shoulder, to the soft breaths the older rhythmically released. “How’s your project coming along?”, the blonde asked, not being able to bear the silence any longer. “I’d say quite well”, Changbin answered. “We’re actually almost finished, although we could use some feedback. Maybe you can listen to it during dinner later”. Felix nodded in agreement, excitement filling his eyes at the prospect of listening to what the others created. He knew Chan and Jisung were extremely talented producers and he expected Changbin to be a force to be reckoned with as well. The older smiled at the younger, the excitement in Felix’ response seemingly contagious. “Sorry about my sour mood earlier today, by the way. I wasn’t angry at you, it’s just that I had kind of a ty day”. “It’s alright hyung”, Felix smiled, both happy and relieved that Changbin wasn’t angry with him.

“Hey Felix”, Chan said while opening the door, his hands filled with food, “did you finish your homework?” “Yes hyung”, Felix replied quickly walking over to Jisung to help him, as he was struggling to close the door with his hands filled with drinks. “I bought you some Chinese take-away”, Chan said, placing down Felix’ food in front of him. “Thank you”, Felix said, sitting down on the floor with the rest of the guys. “You wanna here our song?”, Jisung asked, already skipping towards his laptop that held the audio file. Jisung didn’t even give Felix the chance to answer, not that he could’ve done so verbally, as his mouth was stuffed to the brim with food, slamming his finger down on the play button. “It’s called ‘Matryoshka’”, Chan quickly added before the beat filled the room.

The song was even better than Felix had first anticipated. He was astonished that the three males could make such a quality song in such a short time span. “Damn”, he muttered out in amazement, sending the other three males into a fit of giggles. “When do you have to hand this in?” “A week from now”, Changbin answered, getting up to throw away his trash. “You want me to throw that away for you”, he asked Felix, pointing at the trash in front of Felix. “Sure”, the blonde answered, shrugging his shoulders, “thanks”. Felix looked over to his left, only to see Chan and Jisung whispering to each other, giggling like little kids. “What’s so funny?” Felix asked, raising his eyebrow in confusion. “Nothing”, Jisung answered a little too quickly, only solidifying Felix’ thoughts that it had something to do with him. “I’ll tell you later”, Chan said, getting up to throw away his own trash.

The two guests ended up staying only a little while after dinner, as it was beginning to get late and soon enough it was only Chan and Felix left in their room. “So, what was the ‘oh so funny thing’ you couldn’t tell me earlier?” Felix immediately asked after his hyung had closed the door. “Jisung and I just found it cute that Changbin offered to throw your trash away”, his hyung shrugged. “Are you kidding me?”, Felix groaned. “It’s honestly not that big of a deal, he was just being polite, wasn’t he?” “That could’ve been a logical explanation”, Chan remarked, “had it been literally any other person than Changbin. He doesn’t really do small kind acts, except if he really likes someone”, Chan smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at Felix. “Quit it already”, Felix groaned, throwing his dirty towel square into Chan’s face. Felix was getting annoyed by his friends endless teasing. He was still trying to figure out what exactly he felt for Changbin. He wasn’t even sure he liked him yet, although his increasing heartbeat every time he thought of the shorter would beg to differ. “Alright, I’m sorry”, the older said, putting his hands up in the air. “It’s getting late though”, he continued, “so you should get some sleep”. “Alright mom”, the younger retorted, quickly running into the bathroom as a pillow was already being thrown in his direction. Giggling to himself, the younger brushed his teeth and got ready for bed.

The next day, Felix woke up with a pounding headache. Letting out a pained groan, he touched his own forehead, feeling an incredible heat radiate off of it. “Hyung”, he croaked out, a pain in his throat also starting to kick in. Chan, who had been awake for a while, rushed over to Felix’ side. Kneeling down next to his bed, he also put his hand against Felix’ forehead. “You’re burning up”, the older stated, before standing back up again. “I’ll go grab you some medicine and I’ll make you some food, just try to relax”. Chan did just that and, after forcing Felix to eat, he ended up sitting on the edge of his bed, combing his fingers through the youngers hair, something he knew the younger was extremely fond of and would definitely help him fall asleep. “I have something to do after school, so I’ll ask one of our friends to come over and take care of you”, Chan said. The younger, already half asleep, nodded in response as he stifled a yawn. ‘Goodnight Felix’, was the last thing he heard before he travelled off to dreamland.

It was already nearing lunchbreak when the younger woke up again. After lunchbreak he was supposed to have dance class, where he was supposed to continue his project. Not wanting to let his teammates down, he got up and got ready for the day. ‘Only dance class,’ he told himself, before entering the bathroom.

“Felix! What are you doing here?”, Hyunjin asked as soon as he stepped foot in the practice room. “Chan hyung told us you were ill and resting”, he continued, walking over to the blonde to check his condition. “I’m already feeling a lot better”, the blonde lied, dropping his bag next to the other’s, swatting Hyunjin’s hand away when the latter tried to feel his forehead as well. “Are you sure?” Hyunjin pressed, doubt clear in his voice as a worried Minho appeared besides him. “You don’t look that great”, he continued. “Did you eat something?” “Yes, Chan hyung made me some breakfast”. It’s almost one o’clock already, what about lunch?” “Jeez Hyunjin, calm down, I’m just not hungry right now”, Felix said, clearly starting to get annoyed by the other’s endless worrying. You shouldn’t have come”, Minho suddenly spoke up, making Felix even more angry as well as a bit sad. “We are already ahead on schedule”, the eldest continued, “missing a day or two is not bad and Hyunjin and I would’ve still been here, so the project would’ve still moved along, albeit a bit slower”. “Well, I’m here now, so I can help”, Felix stubbornly said whilst walking to the center of the room. The tallest of the group sighed, following suit, whilst Minho send a quick text to Chan, informing him that Felix was at the practice room and asking him to come pick the blonde up later.

It took only three full routines before Felix’ body gave in. Kneeling on the ground, he was breathing heavily, extremely sweaty and shivering. “I knew this would happen”, Minho muttered under his breath, grabbing Felix’ water and towel, whilst Hyunjin left the room in search for a blanket for the shivering boy. “Sorry hyung”, Felix croaked out, gulping down some water. “It’s just that I would’ve felt so guilty had I not shown up, I mean, it is a group project after all”. “You shouldn’t think like that”, Minho spoke softly, feeling empathy for the younger. “We already told you it was fine. Your health comes first, you know that right?” Felix nodded in response as he shifted in a more comfortable position. “For now, just try not to strain yourself and save your voice”, Minho continued to which the younger nodded. A few moments later, Hyunjin re-entered the room, three blankets and a pillow in his hands. He ran over to Felix wrapping all of the blankets around the blonde before patting his head. Placing the pillow on the floor behind him, he helped the blonde lay down, whispering a soft ‘try to get some sleep’ in the process. The latter replied with an almost inaudible ‘thank you’, before closing his eyes and snuggling deeper in the blankets, the other two boys slightly cooing at the adorable sight.

“Lee Felix!”, a loud voice boomed through the practice room. ”What the hell were you thinking!”, Chan yelled, storming over to the younger. Jisung and Changbin, who had decided to join Chan, looked at each other, slightly intimidated, before Jisung walked over to Minho, giving his boyfriend a hug, whilst Changbin kept his place at the door.

“I can’t take you home”, Chan said, his rage already died down. “I already told you I had plans after school”. “Can’t you call them off or something?”, Felix carefully tried, hoping to not enrage his hyung again. “No”, Chan replied sternly. “As much as I care about you,” he explained, “I’ve been planning this date with Jeongin for a week now and I don’t want to disappoint him”. “You’re going on a date with Jeongin, oh my god that’s so cute”, Felix squealed, making the older face palm. “What are you waiting for,” Felix continued, “go”. “But what about you”, Chan said, his eyes showing how conflicted he felt. “I can take him home”, Changbin suddenly spoke up, walking over to the two Aussies. “I mean,” he continued, clearing his throat. “If you’re fine with it, that is”, he said looking at Felix. Completely dumbfounded, Felix just nodded, his heartbeat already picking up speed at the mere thought of Changbin taking care of him. Felix immediately regretted his decision as he realised he probably looked extremely gross with his body covered in sweat and an extremely red face. “Alright, then it’s sorted. Here I’ll lend you my keys to the apartment”, Chan spoke up, handing his keys to Changbin. “I’ll be back somewhere in the early evening. If something comes up or if something goes horribly wrong, text me. Have fun”, Chan said, before sprinting out of the room. “Someone seems eager”, Felix muttered under his breath, making Changbin, who was the only one who heard the comment, let out a low chuckle.

When the two finally stopped staring at each other, they realised all the others had already left. “What great friends they are”, Changbin muttered, stretching his hand out to help Felix up. “Can you walk?”, Changbin asked, holding onto Felix’ waist just to be sure the younger wouldn’t fall, the younger blushing at the subtle action. “Yeah, I think I’ll be fine”, the younger replied, confidently stepping forwards. He only covered about three meters before his world started spinning again, almost making the younger fall. Changbin was by his side in lightning speed, wrapping his arm around Felix’ waist once again. “Hop onto my back, I’ll carry you”, the older said, causing Felix’ face to heat up even more. Felix froze in embarrassment and was about to start arguing that he didn’t have to be carried, when Changbin spoke up again. As if he had read the younger’s mind, he said: “You clearly can’t walk back yourself. Just hop on, it’s not even that far. I’m not going to argue with you on this one”. Not knowing how to reply, the younger just nodded before he carefully hopped onto Changbin’s back, wrapping his legs tightly around Changbin’s middle and his arms tightly around his neck, nearly choking the older. Changbin smiled softly as he felt Felix nuzzle his face into the crook of his neck, the younger’s blonde hair tickling his cheek. “Tell me something about yourself”, Felix said, voice slightly muffled due to Changbin’s coat, as the two males leisurely made their way back to the Aussie’s apartment. So the older started talking about this and that, at first only about his interests and recent events that had happened to him, but eventually he ended up talking about some funny childhood memories, Felix chuckling softly at almost everything he said, which made the elder’s heart flutter.

As the two entered the apartment, Felix’ stomach made a loud noise. “You want me to make you some food?” Changbin immediately asked, slowly letting Felix down off of his back. Changbin didn’t even wait for Felix’ response as he made a beeline for the fridge. “Go lay down in your bed, I’ll make you something to eat”, the older said, to which Felix replied with a short ‘yes’.

A couple of minutes later, the two were sat on Felix’ bed together, a plate with half a sandwich sitting in Felix’ lap and Felix’ laptop placed in front of them, a movie playing away in the background as the two males chatted away. As the day proceeded their sitting positions slowly shifted and in the evening, after the two males had ordered and eaten their respective dinners and moved from Felix’ bed to the couch, the two were cuddled up together, Felix’s head once again in the crook of Changbin’s neck whilst Changbin had protectively wrapped his muscular arms around Felix’ waist, a comfortable silence between the two as they watched another movie, stealing quick glances at each other from time to time.

When Chan entered the apartment, after a successful date with Jeongin, he wasn’t even surprised in the slightest at the two’s intimate position. “So you guys know, I’m back”, Chan spoke up after a couple of minutes, having noticed the duo hadn’t yet realised he had already returned, both blushing in embarrassment. “So, are the two of you dating yet?”, the eldest continued. “Not yet,” Changbin replied, “but I was about to ask him out”. Hearing his crush’s reply, Felix’ blush deepened as he hit his hyung’s chest softly in embarrassment. “Alright then. I’ll be in my room if you need something”, Chan said, leaving the room. “Oh and Changbin,” he continued, popping his head back into the room, “thanks for taking care of Felix. You’re free to stay the night, just don’t get ill as well”. Changbin chuckled, replying with a quick ‘no problem hyung’, before devoting his full attention to Felix once again. “So how about that date”, he said, a smirk creeping onto his face. “Uhh”, Felix replied, not knowing how to reply as he nervously started fiddling with his hoodie strings. “How about next week, I’m sure you won’t be ill anymore by then”, Changbin continued, not at all affected by the younger’s rather indecisive reply. The younger smiled softly and, in a sudden burst of confidence, gave the older a quick peck on the cheek, only to be pulled back into a real kiss by Changbin, their lips fitting together perfectly as the movie in the background came to an end, engulfing the two in darkness.
