Jihoon was feeling strangely energetic today, he had a good sleep last night on his comfortable bed added on with Seungcheol’s arm wrapped around him, he hadn’t had that kind of experience for quite sometimes with both him and Seungcheol had busy months preparing for their comeback, he hummed sweetly to their new songs which creeped the hell out of other members ‘Stop it hyung it feels like you’re summoning your satan family to come here’ that was the only comment from Seungkwan before he nearly get thrown out of the window if other members weren’t around. Strangely ever since they reached show champion recording place the leader aka his boyfriend wasn’t seen around with other members, Jihoon clearly remembered the older guy was beside him when they reached

“Where is Seungcheol hyung?” Jihoon asked Mingyu who was joking around with Seokmin and Soonyoung

“You are the one who supposed to know where is he hyung, he’s not our boyfriend” Mingyu commented 

“Nevermind it’s hopeless to ask you guys” Jihoon sighed “I’ll go out for a while”

“Don’t get lost hyung we are starting in 20 minutes” Seokmin waved his hand while grinning

“I know”

He knew but he still get lost, he wandered around the area although a lot of people called him genius but he called himself an idiot if it comes about direction, he bumped into few other idols but didn’t dare to ask them where is the direction to go back to his waiting room. He nearly called his manager to pick him up when he spotted the one he had been looking for was seen nearby

“Hyun-“ Jihoon nearly called Seungcheol when he spotted the guy was with a girl group member Jihoon tried not to become a creepy boyfriend but he hid behind the wall listening to what Seungcheol and the girl was talking about

“I’m sorry” Jihoon could hear the leader mumbled, sorry? For?

“It’s fine oppa, I understand” the girl was facing the other way so Jihoon couldn’t see her but for sure he could imagine the girl was smiling at Seungcheol

“You are pretty… someone out there better than me deserves you more” Seungcheol smiled and Jihoon didn’t know why he felt terrible at that moment

“You too oppa… I bet you have someone really pretty who deserves you better than me, thank you for your kindness, I don’t regret I confessed to you” The girl said with emotion clearly heard through his voice. Jihoon bit his lips why did he have to listen to this, everything was blurry after that. He decided to make his move first before Seungcheol caught him, after he made sure Seungcheol was out of his sight he fished out his phone and dialed their manager number

“Hyung I’m lost” Jihoon wished he was just plainly lost direction, but now what he felt was a real lost… He knew Seungcheol rejected the girl but what if… what if… he wasn’t in this world and Seungcheol was supposed to be with the girl? Won’t the world will feel better? He was lost and he hoped Seungcheol helped him to get through this…

“Where is Jihoon?” Seungcheol asked when he reached seventeen’s waiting room

“I heard the same exact question 20 minutes ago but it was from Jihoon looking for you” Jeonghan snorted “What happened to the Romeo and Juliet? Lost their way to each other?”

“Not funny” Seungcheol rolled his eyes “Where is he?”

“Just now he called our manager to fetch him, he was lost from what I heard” Joshua explained 

“Oh? I’ll go find - Hi baby” Seungcheol was about to leave the room when he found Jihoon walked inside with their manager next to him “Thanks hyung” Seungcheol didn’t miss the sad face Jihoon had but decided to close the matter privately

“No problem and Lee Jihoon. You are banned from wandering around alone again” When Jihoon remained silent Seungcheol knew something was off

“Jihoon” Seungcheol called his boyfriend who just walked off left him standing in front of the door, he sighed watching Jihoon flopped on the sofa next to Seungkwan who immediately scooted away knew better than to sit near an angry Jihoon “Hey” Seungcheol sat next to Jihoon and the younger scowled

“What do you want?” Jihoon frowned “I’m tired”

“Us. Talk. Outside” Seungcheol said in a ‘don’t argue with me’ tone, Jihoon contemplating a bit but he stood up and walked off followed by Seungcheol, their members’ whispered didn’t go unnoticed by Seungcheol but his scolding would have to wait until he settled everything with his boyfriend

Jihoon stared at the view, frowned when the sun hit him so hard that afternoon, they decided to talk at the rooftop knew they will have better privacy than anywhere inside the building especially with how how Seoul was then for sure nobody would have the thought of going up to the rooftop

“Did anyone bother you?” Seungcheol asked directly once he stood next to the younger enjoying the view
“It’s stupid” Jihoon sighed after he recalled why in the first place he was angry

“Whatever it is, if it upsets you then it’s not stupid” Seungcheol turned around watching how cute Jihoon was

“Someone confessed to you just now right?” Jihoon finally turned to look at Seungcheol and that was a wrong move, Seungcheol looked so handsome with his new hair shinier under the sunlight

“How did you - Oh..” Seungcheol smiled now finally putting up all the puzzle pieces together 

“I know the meaning of that smile and Uh I TOLD YOU IT’S STUPID” Jihoon suddenly felt really idiot he shouldn’t be angry for that kind of thing knowing how famous his boyfriend is around girlgroups 

“Listen baby, first, you are not idiot even if you are remember that you are my idiot, second yes that girl confessed to me but I told her I already have someone whom I really love right now and even nobody knows how the future will be like but I know my future is fated to be with the person and that person is you, third… Don’t be jealous, I love you too much to move on from you” Seungcheol leaned down and peck Jihoon’s lips “and last… You look so cute when you are jealous - OUCH” Seungcheol held his left leg which was kicked by Jihoon 

“That’s for being annoying” Jihoon rolled his eyes he looked at Seungcheol who gave him a puppy look “Nope, I’m not going to fall for that look and kiss you just to make the pain goes away, how old do you think you are? 3? 5?” Seungcheol pouted and Jihoon couldn’t help but laughed, eventually he tip toed and put his arm around Seungcheol’s neck kissed the older guy gently which surprised the latter but it didn’t last long he put his arm around Jihoon’s waist pulling the smaller guy closer enjoying his boyfriend’s warm lips under the afternoon sun feeling content with what he had then

“So what was that for?” Seungcheol asked once they pulled apart from the kiss

“For rejecting that girl” Jihoon said in a flat face and Seungcheol laughed out loud, his Jihoon, his Lee Jihoon, his best friend, his boyfriend, Seungcheol couldn’t ask for a better one.

“Where have you guys been? Faster take a selfie so we can go home” Mingyu whined

“Omo… look at that glowing face of them” Seungkwan commented when Jihoon and Seungcheol took selfie together “Must be something good just happened”

“You don’t want to know Boo” Jihoon smirked and Seungkwan walked away while whispering ‘Damn cheesy couple I don’t need that image of them making out to comeback alive’
