Everything felt like such a blur upon leaving that hospital with Joohyun, and when they returned home, all Seulgi really remembered was being comforted by her fiance, urged to eat something, and held all night by the woman she loved. Joohyun was being more than incredible during this ordeal. The artist still couldn’t believe that just a day ago she was being told that her ex-girlfriend was in the hospital but living in the past thinking they were still romantically involved, and worst of all Seulgi had to witness the behavior for herself. A part of the monolid woman wonders why she even went to the hospital, had she known things would have gone as far as they had, she wouldn’t have, but then again, Seulgi also isn’t some heartless person. She does care what happens to Tiffany, despite everything that went down in the way it had. She still wants what’s best for her, just not at the expense of her relationship with Joohyun.

“Hey,” The singer whispers to her. It’s not quite yet daylight outside, but Seulgi could barely sleep anyway, and each time she tossed and turned, Joohyun was right there to offer comfort, by any means necessary. Even if it meant that the raven wasn’t getting much sleep herself, her main concern was for Seulgi, and although the artist wasn’t exactly happy that Joohyun was sacrificing so much of her own sleep, because in reality it wasn’t even just about the fact that she wasn’t sleeping, Joohyun in truth was sacrificing so much for her, and them too, all because of what had happened yesterday. Seulgi always knew that she was lucky to have met this beautiful and kind woman, yet she never imagined it would be proven to her in such a way as this, with her ex-girlfriend showing up in her life again in a way that makes things difficult.

“You alright, Seul?”

The fact that Joohyun looks and sounds so worried about her. Makes Seulgi feel touched but guilty too, as had it not been for her past then they wouldn’t be in this current situation. The monolid woman sighs and gently touches the side of her fiance’s face with this small smile on her face. Joohyun gazes at her with a slight frown, as she has been with Seulgi long enough to know when she is smiling for real, and when she isn’t.

“I should be asking if you’re alright, Hyun. We’re in this situation because of…”

Seulgi doesn’t get to finish because Joohyun hugs her tightly in one of those warm embraces that always makes Seulgi feel at ease and like the most special person in the world to this amazing woman right here, whom she loves, and is in love with. Then comes the back rub too and when Joohyun looks at her, Seulgi knows she’ll have to be honest, because there is no sense in lying either.

“I asked you if you were okay, honey. You shouldn’t hide from me, not now, Seul.”

The slightly taller woman gives a nod in understanding as she hears what Joohyun is saying to her really. They are partners, soon to be married, and there has never been any need for them to hide from one another. Seulgi leans forward to place a soft kiss on top of Joohyun’s forehead.

“I’m sorry, I won’t hide from you. I’m just sorry we’re even going through such a thing right now, we shouldn’t be, Hyunnie. We should be getting ready to talk about wedding plans, you know.”

Joohyun nods softly and agrees. They should be in the early beginning stages of planning their wedding, as it is really supposed to be the happiest time of their lives, the start of their new life together, and it will happen for them. Joohyun knows they will have the chance to resume life as normal, and talk about their wedding properly, to where their future will begin, this is only a minor setback and something they have to get through together as a couple. As they would face any challenge together as a couple.

“We’ll still have the time to talk about our wedding plans, because we’re still going to get married nothing has changed about that, Seul.”

“Yes, nothing has changed about us getting married, I proposed because I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Bae Joohyun.”

“And I want to spend mine with you, we just need to get through this, and we will.”

Joohyun sounds sure. She sounds confident, so much that all Seulgi wants is to believe her. If only this wasn’t happening right now, if only Seulgi never answered such a random and awful call about her ex that would lead to everything that ended up happening, which brings Seulgi to something else. Why did Joohyun tell Tiffany that she was only her friend? She didn’t have to do that either? Seulgi gets why on the one hand, because her wife-to-be is simply kindhearted, and surely she must have seen enough that it made her feel badly, but there was no need to do that.

“Hyun, why did you tell her you were my friend. I know you probably felt bad for her situation, I do too, but in no way was that fair to you.”

The singer knows, looking back, that probably wasn’t the best thing she could have done in the moment. She just saw how much pain the woman was in, and the words were leaving before she could really stop them. Worst of all, would be how Tiffany would be looking for Seulgi, Seulgi as who she thinks she still is, her girlfriend. Joohyun honestly doesn’t want to think about that, how Tiffany will want to hold her, kiss her, reach for her like a girlfriend will, all of that and more bothers her greatly. Seulgi is the woman she loves, her fiance, someone she lives with and intends to spend her life. It’s also not much of a secret, the two of them have a public relationship, so it would really be a matter of time before Tiffany would find out they are engaged. Would it not be better to sit her down and gently admit to her they are a couple?

“I know, I’m sorry, the words left me before I could stop them.”

“Don’t apologize, Hyun. You’re not to blame, we need to figure out a way to handle this, properly, together, okay.” Seulgi gives this smile, a little brighter than she did a while ago. Joohyun understands that it’s supposed to make her feel calm. She doesn’t feel entirely calm, but when the taller woman wraps her arms around her, pulling her into an embrace as they settle into bed. Seulgi whispers to her she loves her, and that should also be enough as well. Joohyun wants it to be enough, because she wants for everyone to be alright, not just herself and Seulgi, but for Tiffany too, as it’s very clear the woman is suffering in her own way. The singer simply hopes everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.

Sleep doesn’t come easy for the couple, but they manage to get a few hours of rest in before the sun does come up. Joohyun wakes first, today is another day of having to be in the studio, and normally she would be looking forward to it, only with so much on her mind with the previous events, it will be hard to not be distracted. She leaves a soft kiss onto Seulgi’s forehead and gets up to make breakfast, as a way to help get her mind off some of her thoughts. And to think just the other day she and Seulgi really were only thinking about their happy news. Joohyun has to remind herself that this is really only a temporary thing, because nothing will stop her and Seulgi from getting married. When she had first really met the artist, the woman had been reluctant, hesitant, and broken in ways because of her prior relationship. But still, the most kind, warm, and beautiful woman that Joohyun had ever met. The fact that Seulgi was able to eventually open up to her, trust in her, and give her entire heart was something that Joohyun never took lightly, and can still remember how her girlfriend at the time told her she loved her, and how words like that weren’t easy for Seulgi to say.

(Flashback)

The singer was dating the artist now for nearly seven months, and while not always an easy relationship, and not so much all because they were both public figures, with their own busy schedules to where sometimes it was hard to find the time to properly see one another, whether it was Joohyun having studio hours, comeback time, shows she was playing, and Seulgi busy with art gallery openings, or studio shows of her own, events that couldn’t be postponed. Still, what the two of them had was something very special that neither they could deny or anyone around them, and so they chose to make it work, because they genuinely cared for one another. The singer knew she personally more than just cared for the monolid artist and was very invested in a future with Seulgi, as she had never met someone like her, so talented, kind, and warm too.

“Hyun?” Seulgi speaks.

Tonight, is one of the first times they were able to meet in what feels like too long. Seulgi had surprised her after she was finished recording a show, showing up with flowers, and took her on what was a late night dinner picnic, a very sweet gesture, something very much like her girlfriend.

“Yes, Seul.”

“I’m really glad we were able to meet tonight, it feels like too long since we had a proper date. Although, this was more a random surprise.” The monolid woman smiles while taking a hold of one of her hands.

“I like random surprises, but I agree today this was very nice. I’ve been missing you and when I walked out of the broadcast station and saw you standing there, you have no idea how nice it was to see you waiting for me.”

Seulgi hoped by showing up as a surprise it would be a nice gesture. Truthfully, she has been really missing her girlfriend too, and has wanted to see her, Bae Joohyun has been the best thing to happen to her in a long time, and Seulgi thought it wasn’t possible for her to feel this happy again. The artist never imagined she would meet someone as wonderful as Joohyun, someone who could make her believe in love again, and that was exactly what she felt for Joohyun, love. She was in love with the most amazing, incredible, sweetest person she has met in a long time, and she was no longer afraid to tell her that.

“I’m glad then it was well received. Maybe I should make random surprises more often.”

“I think you should, Kang Seulgi.” The shorter woman gently leans her head onto one of the artist shoulders, today was a tiring day. The kind of day where Joohyun simply would like to be in bed, asleep, but nothing beats being next to Seulgi, it’s a perfect way to end any night, right here next to someone she loves.

“Joohyun?” Seulgi whispers softly, almost too softly to the point that Joohyun nearly misses her name. She looks up and over to the slightly taller woman, who has a smile on her face, one that is showing she is doing her best to not show how nervous she actually is. Joohyun frowns in concern and grabs her hands in an effort to help Seulgi know there’s nothing to be nervous about, and that she can tell her anything she needs.

“You can tell me what you need, Seulgi.”

Seulgi feels reassured by her calm words and tone. There is nothing to be afraid of, certainly not of telling Joohyun she loves her. It is scary in a way to express love to someone after so long, but Joohyun is nothing like Tiffany, and everything about their relationship feels right.

“Being with you has been like a most wonderful and unexpected surprise, so thank you for being patient with me, and thank you for loving me, thank you for loving me the same way that I love you too, Bae Joohyun.”

(End)

Joohyun remembers practically throwing herself into the artist's arms to tell her she loved her too. She also told Seulgi to never thank her because she loved her. She loved the woman so much, and it was her that was thankful for having met someone so remarkable in the most amazing woman she had ever met. Joohyun didn’t even realize she had tears in her eyes from such a powerful memory as that until she felt familiar warm arms around her waist, and Seulgi wiping away at her tears.

“S-Seul, hey, you’re up.” She smiles. “I’m almost finished with breakfast, so you can sit and we can eat soon. I do have to be at the studio today and…” The raven is cut off because of the way Seulgi gently turns her around to pull her into a hug. Joohyun returns the hug fast and they stay there, in one another’s arms, like nothing else in the world matters except for the two of them.

“I want to spend the day with the woman I love, my fiance, and not think about anything else, is that so wrong?” Seulgi asks.

“No, of course not.”

She pats the brown-haired woman’s back. “Come, sit down, let’s have breakfast first. I’m not going to be at the studio all day, we’ll have time after? We can meet for a late lunch, we’ll go to that ramen place we both love, does that sound good?”

It sounded perfect. Seulgi wanted to simply go to her art studio work on some projects, meet up with Joohyun, have lunch together later as planned, and then return later to their place, she didn’t want to think about anything else. They managed to get through breakfast to where Joohyun noticed how Seulgi seemed to have a hard time letting her go get ready to leave for the studio.

“Honey, it’s going to be alright.”

“Hyun…” She whispers, holding her tightly, as if terrified of the possibility that once she left out the door that was going to be the end of it.

“Don’t worry, it’s going to be alright.” The singer repeats. “I’ll call you after I’m done, and we can make plans to meet, I love you.”

“I love you too.”

With one kiss, Seulgi does let go, trying not to look like a crazy person in some way. She doesn’t want to seem like she’s overreacting but she feels this sudden dread taking over her, and it doesn’t feel right. She needs some air, she needs to leave the place too, time to think, and clear her mind. A lot has happened in the past few hours to them both, and once Joohyun’s car is gone from sight. She gets into her own car, and decides to take a drive, a change of scenery sounded really good right about now.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jung Jessica had her hands full with one particular patient, one who insisted on one thing only and that was being reunited with the person whom she thought was her girlfriend. Granted, Jessica knows it wasn’t the best course of action allowing for Tiffany to continue living in her current fantasy life. But at the time, the doctor could only see an agitated and distressed woman who could possibly hurt others or herself. It’s her job to care for her patients, and yet this situation seemed impossible, either way someone would be hurt, the only thing was how could she help correct this to where it could be as little harm done as possible. The poor woman would have to be told she is no longer dating Kang Seulgi, because Kang Seulgi belongs to someone else.

“Dr. Jung?” Tiffany calls out to her.

“Yes?” She looks up from her notes. Everything would suggest that Tiffany is fine, health-wise, which is good news considering how she came in, and Jessica has no reason to believe that she won’t make a full recovery once she is able to get out of here.

“Were you able to call Seul? I don’t have access to my phone, otherwise I would do it myself.” She smiles, and Jessica pauses, at the beautiful way, her eyes form such pretty crescent shapes.

“It’s still rather early, Ms. Hwang, visiting hours haven’t really begun yet. Why don’t you try and get some more rest before we try to contact Ms. Kang?”

Tiffany doesn’t look too thrilled by the idea of getting more rest. All she wants to do is see Seulgi and know when she can get out of the hospital, especially as she has been in here for a year already. The only thing that calms her is the fact that Seulgi did tell her she would come back today, and as long as she has known Seulgi. The younger woman wouldn’t lie or break a promise, and so Tiffany does as Dr. Jung asks and lays back down in bed.

“There, you need to heal properly, Ms. Hwang, and then we can discuss things like when you can get out of here, I know that has been on your mind.” She smiles knowingly.

“Can you blame me?” Tiffany chuckles. “I’d like to be able to know when I’m getting out of here, not that you and the rest of the staff haven’t been really great to me, I’m sure I’ve been a real joy of a patient too.” She says sarcastically and that makes Jessica shake her head, with a small laugh too.

“I understand, Ms. Hwang. Tell you what, if you take some rest now, I will see about at least having you get out into the hospital grounds for a while, there’s a beautiful garden area, you should find relaxing. Do we have a deal?” Jessica reaches out her hand for a bit of a handshake, and Tiffany takes her hand. She smiles back thanking the doctor who has been really caring and kind. Tiffany feels lucky that she has a doctor like Jessica, she can’t imagine if it was someone who didn’t care as much.

“Yes, thank you, Dr. Jung. We have a deal, but you’ll call Seul for me later, right?”

“Yes, I will. Get some rest, alright?”

Jessica leaves the room and sighs to herself. She has to find a way to hopefully fix some of this, before it gets even more out of hand. She will give Seulgi a call to see how they can move forward now. Jessica hopes it’s not too late to fix things.

But for Joohyun, some damage was already done as her mind was much too clouded as she could barely think straight at the studio. She tried her best to focus on the lyrics before her, but even her friends at the label could tell something just wasn’t right with the singer, only Joohyun didn’t want to talk about it, not even when they all tried to ask her. The first thing she did when she had the chance was take a moment to herself to be alone, to try and clear her head some. Only, Joohyun didn’t count on two very rambunctious younger friends of hers and Seulgi’s coming to the label for a random and surprise visit.

“Surprise!” Joy is heard first.

“Hi, Joohyun!” Yerim next, and both of them have wedding magazine’s in their hands. Looking like they were tired of waiting for Joohyun to get back to them when they could start talking about details, although it is her and Seulgi’s wedding in the first place.

“O-Oh, guys…” The older woman pauses, with a small smile, that only takes the two of them five seconds to notice she is not okay.

“What’s wrong!” Joy asks. “Are you about to cry?”

“What, no?”

“Did you and Seulgi break up!” Yerim asks, only realizes she is still wearing her engagement ring, so that can’t possibly be it. “No, that can’t be it, but clearly you’re upset, what’s wrong?”

The singer isn’t sure how much of this she should explain to their friends. It’s kind of not their business, but then again, who knows how long such a situation like this will go on, it could get noticeable, especially if Seulgi has to pretend to be with Tiffany for a while, and isn’t at home with her, what can she say? The two younger women are looking at her expectantly for answers.

“Joohyun, is everything alright?”

This time it’s asked more gently, in such a caring way that’s what breaks the raven down. The tears left her eyes and the two younger women rushed over to comfort her, everything was far from alright, and she did need someone to talk to. She needed to express what she herself was dealing with, because it wasn’t everyday the woman you loved so much, ex-lover showed back up in her life only to think she still belongs with her. By the time Joohyun explains to them what’s going on, Joy looks in between livid and confused, while Yerim looks more sad than anything.

“Wow, I’m really sorry, Joohyun.” Yerim tells her. “That’s crazy, I can’t believe…”

“Are you sure that she’s not faking it.” Joy interrupts. “I wouldn’t put it past her at this point.”

“Joy.” Joohyun shakes her head. She knows that the girl feels a sense of loyalty to Seulgi most of all when it comes to the whole Tiffany thing, as Seulgi did have her heart broken by her once upon a time. But Joohyun has personally seen with her own eyes the state of Tiffany at the hospital, and that would be rather messed up if the woman was faking simply to get back together with Seulgi, and it didn’t appear to be a case of someone faking a state of mind.

“She wasn’t faking, as of right now she does think it’s the past and she and Seul are together.”

“Well, you two are just going to have to tell her the truth. You are engaged and living together, it’s not like she can’t turn on a television and catch an entertainment program about the two of you.”

Joy isn’t wrong. How long would it be before Tiffany turns on a television, tablet, phone, or sees a magazine, with their photos on it? There’s no way it could remain a secret, perhaps it would be easier to simply sit her down and tell her the truth together?

“Joohyun, hey, whatever happens, you know Joy and I are here for you and Seulgi.” Yerim lets her know.

“Thanks, you two. I really appreciate that.”

“We still are going to have a wedding right, because I won’t let Seulgi’s ex ruin this for you two.”

Joohyun chuckles and shakes her head at how Joy looks all determined, like she’s about to march down to the hospital and cause a huge scene, although Joohyun truly hopes that’s not about to be the case.

“Yes, there will be a wedding, don’t worry.”

For now, she waits for Seulgi to call her as they do still have plans for lunch. In the meantime, Seulgi has finished with her drive to clear her head and has made it to her studio to work on some art projects. Art has always been a good escape for her, when she needed to not think for a while, and this was as good a time as any to empty her mind as much as she possibly could. Seulgi wanted to think she would get away for the day without having to deal with what was happening with Tiffany, and for a second she almost believed she could, that is until she did get the call from Dr. Jung, asking her when she could meet to talk. Dr. Jung specifically asked they meet at her office first because they should discuss what would be the best course of action for what was next, and that was something on Seulgi’s mind too. She needed to figure out what would be next too, because there was just no way she could pretend right along with Tiffany, it wasn’t fair to anyone, not herself, Joohyun, or even fair to Tiffany. Seulgi left Joohyun a text to let her know she would be going to the hospital first before meeting her for lunch, in case Joohyun was still busy at the studio. Or maybe she just didn’t want her fiance to be worried more so than necessary. Still, it shouldn’t have surprised her when Joohyun met her just outside of the place.

“Hyun, what are you…”

“You really thought you would come here without me?” The dark-haired woman smiled sadly as she walked over from her car. “I mean, really, hon. And we’re supposed to get married with you thinking you need to handle everything on your own like this?”

Seulgi finds that she has nothing to say, or rather no good comeback for that. Joohyun is right. She shouldn’t have come here by herself thinking she should handle this alone.

“I’m sorry, I have no excuse good enough. I shouldn’t have tried to come here without you thinking I should handle this alone, not after earlier telling you we would do this together. Do you accept my apology?”

“I’ll think about it.” Joohyun teases some, but still takes a hold of her hand. “Come, let’s go together to see what Dr. Jung will talk to us both about.”

“Alright, let’s go, together.”

Seulgi knows she can’t do this alone, and really there is no need. Whatever happens the two of them have to face it together, and so with Joohyun by her side, Seulgi heads to Dr. Jung’s office to where the couple sit with the woman who first apologizes to Seulgi for pressuring her, or placing pressuring her for trying to make her go along with the lie.

“I shouldn’t have done that, I was thinking too much in the moment, trying to look out for my patient, which might not have been the best course of action, so I do apologize to you both as well. We’ll have to find a way to gently break the news to her that you two are a couple, I hoped that perhaps she would remember on her own, but so far…”

“She still thinks we’re together.” Seulgi finishes.

“Yes, but still, that does not excuse my earlier decision, and I do hope you and Ms. Bae can both accept my sincere apologies, I am genuinely sorry.”

“Yes, Dr. Jung.” Joohyun nods. “We do accept your apology, so far there’s been no major harm done, and before there can be any serious harm. I think we really should try and talk to her, together, and soon.”

“I agree, and…” Jessica pauses because her pager rings, and she’s being notified about a patient. She excuses herself for a moment, telling the couple she will be back, when they are alone, Joohyun uses the time to tell Seulgi that now Joy and Yerim know about the current situation, as they made a visit earlier to the studio.

“That’s okay, I think they would have found out eventually. I think we should talk about how we’ll handle talking to her, I do want to be honest, but I would rather not hurt her too much, even though she hurt me all those years ago, I don’t want to cause her pain either.”

Joohyun gives Seulgi a soft peck against her lips, as this is truly the woman she adores so very much. Seulgi is not the type of person who would want to hurt someone simply because they hurt her first. It’s one of the reasons why the singer loves the artist, because of her compassion.

“You’re always thoughtful, Seul. I know you don’t want for her to be hurt, and I’ll be right there with you when we tell her, okay.” Joohyun has a hold of her hand, and gives a kiss to her knuckles.

“Thanks, Hyun. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Jessica returns before they have a chance to discuss anything more, and she mentions that Tiffany is awake and in the garden area of the hospital, if they would like to go there now. Seulgi feels nervous, but also there is no sense in putting this off any longer than necessary. Joohyun, as if reading her thoughts, exactly grabs her hand, and they follow after Dr. Jung to where Tiffany is. She only holds Seulgi’s hand for as long as she is able, making sure to let go when they get close to where the garden area is. Seulgi misses Joohyun’s hand and the warmth it brings to her for more than one reason. Still, it’s now or never, because they are heading over to where Tiffany is sitting and the moment she sees Seulgi, she smiles brightly, as if waiting all day just to see her.

“Seul, hi!” Tiffany reaches to hug her, and Joohyun tries her best not to look bothered in any way, by how tight the hug is.

“Hi, Fany.” Seulgi says. “How are you feeling?”

“I feel good, better today. I’ve missed you, oh, your friend came back too, hi, Irene.” Tiffany smiles politely.

Friend, there’s that word again. Joohyun wishes she had never called Seulgi as her friend, since Seulgi could never be just some friend to her.

“Hi, Tiffany.” Joohyun smiles politely. “It’s good to hear you’re feeling better today.” She means that genuinely. She isn’t some unfeeling or uncaring person. Joohyun does want for Tiffany to get better, and well. She wants for her to be alright, and for her to come to terms with her reality, one that can accept that she isn’t together with Seulgi any longer.

“Thank you, I’m glad Seul has a good friend by her side, like you. It must have been really hard for you, baby, worrying about me while I’m in the hospital like this.”

Seulgi is at a loss for words. What is she supposed to say to such words, when in truth she hasn’t been in Tiffany’s life in a long time, had no idea she was even in the hospital, and isn’t in love with her anymore? Tiffany looks at her still, with that look of love, like she once did, and then there’s guilt for another reason. She has to put a stop to all this.

“Fany, I…”

“Ms. Hwang,” Jessica begins, trying to see if there’s any way she can step in and offer some assistance. “Would you like to maybe go inside for a while, you’ve been out here for some time? Maybe we could all move this conversation to one of the inside longues.”

Tiffany eyes Dr. Jung curiously, wondering why the sudden need to go inside, but before she can question that. She turns back to Seulgi because really she is kind of hoping to have a moment alone with the monolid woman. They really haven’t had much time to be together.

“I really would like to spend some time with Seul alone, if that’s okay. None of you mind that, right?”

“Actually…” Joohyun speaks up.

Tiffany reaches over for one of Seulgi’s hands, and this is where she notices something. Something she hadn’t noticed before, or rather maybe she didn’t notice because of all the excitement going on, or just the fact she had woken up out of a coma, but there is an engagement ring on the brunette’s finger. Realization not only hits Seulgi as she sees where Tiffany is looking, but Joohyun too because Seulgi has her ring on, of course she does. They have both been proud, happy, ecstatic to wear their rings.

“Seul!” She grins, happily. “Are we engaged?”

“Tiffany…” Seulgi starts. How can she let her down easily now? Everything has only gone from bad to worse. All she wanted to do was tell her they were now longer dating, now the situation is spiraling even further, but Seulgi isn’t about to apologize because she has her engagement ring on, no, she would never be sorry about that. So the only question is now what is she to do? Rip and off, quick and fast like a bandaid, right?

“Are we, babe?” She has such a bright smile on her face as she asks again. “Are we engaged, Seul?”

A/N: So, originally I didn’t have this all planned, but things do change sometimes will writing, I think I’ll try and wrap this up by chapter 6? I think I can make it complete fully in two more chapters, with some closure for all three of them, so yeah, thanks. And thank you. I am doing my best here. I will complete everything, no matter how long it takes me to do that. Thank you everyone.

Chapter 6: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, this was very nice :)
I'm glad Tiffany got the closure she needed, because this would be very tough if Seulgi was capable of being vindictive. They had such a nice resolution and the care our main couple showed was amazing! They were so kind about everything and really willing to help someone that left Seulgi in such a bad state and a wrench in their plans, they still stayed so solid.
The angst was so good and I felt so bad for Tiffany, I just wanted her to be okay esp mentally. Like her mind and heart were hurting so much at the news and I know there was nothing they could do about the past but it was painful. I'm so glad she's got Jessica. After what she went through, it's so good she'll have someone by her to get through this!
Thank you for writing this and this ending is great! It's got that wistful feeling to past but aim for a better future.
Until next time!
