Life is like an Evil Dragon

I’m called here

I’m called there.

The colours fading in my hair.

Everyone’s calling me everywhere.

My feelings are not to share.

I know life is never fair,

But at least show some care.

But I guess I walked into the dragon’s castle,

And now I’m trapped here.

Trapped in a big metal cage,

Isolated in a quiet room.

Becoming old before my age,

All the dragon left me was a broom.

Working hard in my early days,

Not going out to play…

The dragon says “Yesterday was like this

And every other day will be the same!”

The dragon plays me like a game,

I don’t know if it’s a he or she.

All I know is its name,

‘Life’ plays me evilly.

Treating me like a slave,

I feel its eyes staring at me.

Life is like an evil dragon,

Never setting me free.

But even though I’m trapped here,

It somehow protects me from the sins,

Protecting me with its castle

And fire breathing flames.

For saying such things should I be guilty?

Should I be the one in shame?

Coz all it did was protect me,

Even if it was the evilest way.

It controls my surroundings,

Which might never ever change?

But the evilness… and protection,

It all sounds a bit strange.

But I guess life is also misunderstood…

Work of art

Swishing the brush

Too and fro

Where I will stop

I don’t know

My feelings come

Out of my hand

Onto the brush

Then the canvas they land

Happy feelings

May turn to sad

Lord gave me this gift

And I am glad

Sketches, portraits…

Put up on an easel

I need to concentrate

Coz it’s not easy

I may cry

And sometimes laugh

Coz I got my own style

That’s not too daft

Coz I love art

Art is me

It’s where my feelings

Can be free

Be it happy

Be it sad

Lord gave me this gift

And I am glad
