Chapter 3: Seungcheol
TrioSeungcheol was in the school gymnasium waiting for his brothers Jihoon and Mingyu while watching his cousin from America, Vernon shoot a ball.
"Nice shot Vernonie" complimented Seungcheol
"Thanks hyung" replied Vernon "I have been practicing so I can make it in the team" he continued
"I'm sure you will" said Seungcheol "And I'm not saying this just because I'm your cousin and the team captain. But I'm saying this as someone who sees potential, and with your hard work I'm really sure you can make it" he continued
"Thanks hyung" said Vernon "I appreciate the support" he continued and as he was about to shoot again Jihoon and Mingyu entered the gymnasium, both carrying a paper bag filled with food and drinks
"Finally the food is here" announced Seungcheol
"Sorry we took a while hyung. Me and Jihoon-hyung didn't know what to buy so we just bought ice cream. Hope that's ok" explained Mingyu
"Wow ice cream for breakfast!" said Vernon "I have never tried that" he continued
"Neither have I" admitted Jihoon "But ice cream was what Mingyu here wanted so that's what we bought" he continued
"Well, there's always a first time for everything" said Seungcheol so the other 3 boys smiled. The Choi's left their house really early so they weren't able to eat breakfast, and since they got to school pretty early once they were done looking for their rooms they went to the school gymnasium to pass the time since they had an hour and a half more before school officially starts they decided to eat breakfast.
So Mingyu handed Seungcheol, Vernon and Jihoon a bottle of water, while Jihoon gave Vernon a vanilla ice cream, Mingyu a strawberry ice cream and Seungcheol a chocolate ice cream. Once Seungcheol received his ice cream he started to unwrap it.
"So young masters" said the ice cream maker "What flavor of ice cream would you want" he asked "Vanilla for me" said Joshua "Strawberry for me" said Jeonghan "Chocolate for me" said Seungcheol "Alright then just wait a moment" said the ice cream maker as he prepared the ice cream "Hey! How abiut we share ice creams" suggested Jeonghan "That's a great idea" said Jsohua "That way we all get to taste the different flavors" he continued "Alright if you guys say so. I don't mind sharing my ice cream" said Seungcheol "Me too" said Joshua "Me three" said Jeonghan which made the other two laugh and at that moment the ice cream maker came back with three glass bowls filled with ice cream "For master Joshua" said the ice cream maker "Vanilla ice cream" he continued while handing Joshua a glass bowl filled with vanilla ice cream that had chocolate and strawbery syrup with sprinkles on top "For master Seungcheol" said the ice cream maker "Chocolate ice cream" he continued while handing Seungcheol a glass bowl filled with chocolate ice cream that had chocolate bits at the top that was covered with chocolate syrup "For master Jeonghan" said the ice cream maker "Strawberry ice cream" he continued while handing Jeonghan a glass bowl filled with strawberry ice cream that had actual strawberries on top and chocolate syrup The three boys looked at their ice creams in awe and looked at each other first before eating their ice creams "Cheollie you gotta try this" said Joshua while feeding Seungcheol a spoonful of vanilla ice cream "Here you too Hannie" and also fed Jeonghan a spoonful of ice cream "YUMMY!!" said both Seungcheol and Jeonghan simultaneously which made Joshua laugh "Here Cheollie now try my ice cream" said Jeonghan and he fed Seungcheol his strawberry ice cream "You too Shua" he continued also feeding Joshua "I love the fact that there are real strawberries" said Joshua "I just love it cause its yummy" admitted Seungcheol which made the other two laugh "Ok. Now you can both try my ice cream" continued Seungcheol "A spoonful for Jeonghan and a spoonful for Joshua" he said while feeding the two ice cream "Chocolate ice cream is always yummy" said Jeonghan "Right" said Joshua agreeing "We should eat ice cream more often" Suggested Seungcheol "Yup! agreed Jeonghan "It makes us happy" he continued "I wouldn't want it any other way" admitted Joshua "So how about this" said Seungcheol "We will eat ice cream atleast once a week" he continued "Also when we're sad" added Joshua "Okieee I agree" said Jeonghan and the the three continued sharing their ice cream with smiles on their faces"And Jihoon-hyung here brought out his guitar then chased Seungcheol-hyung away" said Mingyu laughing "Right Seungcheol-hyung?" he asked
"O-oh uhmm yeah HEHE" replied Seungcheol "What are we talking about again?" he asked
"Mingyu-hyung was just telling me what happened when you said that Jihoon-hyung's songs aren't good" explained Vernon
"Seems like hyung wasn't listening" said Jihoon
"I was listening" replied Seungchol "I just remembered something" he continued
"Let me guess, was it Jeonghan-hyung and Joshua-hyung" replied Jihoon which caused the other three boys to look at him
"H-hyung I don't think this is the right time to mention them" said Mingyu nervously
"And why not?" asked Jihoon "Im sure Seungcheol-hyung as moved on. Right hyung?" he continued
"Y-yeah Jihoon is right Mingyu its ok" answered Seungcheol with a small smile
"Do you miss them?" asked Vernon
"Why do you ask?" replied Seungcheol
"Aunt used to always tell me that you, Jeonghan-hyung and Joshua-hyung did almost everyhing together" replied Vernon
"Yeah we used to." asnswered Seungcheol
"But not anymore" interrupted Jihoon "Jeonghan-hyung and Joshua-hyung broke Seungcheol-hyung's heart" he added
"Is that true hyung?" asked Mingyu
"Yes and no" admitted Seungcheol "They did hurt it me, but it was my fault for believing them" he continued
"Its ok hyung" said Vernon "People make mistakes" he continued
"Vernonie is right" added Mingyu "What's important is that you learn from them" he continued
"But that's gonna be hard since our hyung was elected Student Council Vice President meanwhile Joshua-hyung is President and Jeonghan-hyung is Secretary" explained Jihoon
"And they're in the same class" added Vernon
"No worries" said Seungcheol "Like what Mingyu said I learned my mistake. I won't make the same mistake twice" he continued. Suddenly the first bell rang signalling that's its time to head to class
"That's the bell" said Mingyu "We better get going" he continued so the 4 boys threw they're trash and headed out of the gym to get to their classrooms for the first day of classes if officially about to begin
