“I will be the one to call you okay? And I will ask my Dad if we can visit you” Sinb said sadly. It’s the last day of the event and it’s their time to leave.

“I will wait for your call, and I will wait for your visit” Irene replied. “Congratulations anyway” She continued. Sinb won the championship game and Irene didn’t miss the chance to make an article about it.

“Thank you. Congratulations for your articles also. Each of those is so great” Sinb smiles.

“I’ll send you one once it’s published” Irene sighs, she can’t hide her sadness

“Thank you for everything Sinb. Like what I’ve said before, you’ll always have a piece of my heart” Irene said in teary eyes, she then hug Sinb as tight as she could and  Sinb hugged her back and they shared it for a little while.

“It’s funny but I consider you as my bestfriend. You know, I never had one before” Sinb said. “I am just so comfortable with you, and I feel like we’re sisters” Sinb smiles in glee

“I wish we really are” Irene giggles

“Yeah. I hope so too” And they both laughed

“Anyway, here for you Irene” Sinb suddenly handed her a sunglass

“What is this Sinb?” Irene can see it’s a sunglass from her favorite brand, but she’s not sure what to say

“A sunglass silly” Sinb chuckles “This is my Mom’s first finished product, she gave it to me” Sinb explained

“This is from your mom, I can’t have it though” Irene shakes her head, trying to give the sunglass back to Sinb

“But you love my mom’s brand” Sinb said, but still Irene shakes her head

“No. Keep it. For sure your mom gave that to you as a sign that her hard work is for you” She said

“But I want us to remember each other everyday”

“Oh!” Irene remembers something “Okay. This.” She rummages her bag as fast as she could

“What is that?”

“There you are!” Irene got a small jewelry box, a shell shaped. She opened it and a necklace with a heart shaped pendant is in it.

“Take this. This is from my mom. She told me, her bestfriend gave this to her when they’re kids. I should give it to my future bestfriend. I have lots of friends, but I don’t feel like giving it to them. But I’m sure you deserve this” Irene said

“Wow! Really? For real Irene?” Sinb asks in tears and Irene nods

“If that so, you should accept this sunglass from my mom too. Please Irene? Please?” Sinb plead, and Irene took a deep breath before finally giving in

“Okay”

They’ve exchanged their items and smiled sincerely to each other

LAX AIRPORT

“Daddy!!” Sinb ran to her dad as soon as she sees him waiting outside the airport. She has many things to tell him and she can’t wait to do so.

“Omo!” Taeyeon smiles as he carried his daughter. “You got lighter sweetie” Taeyeon said

“Dad, you know I came from sport’s fest. And I won! Champion!” Sinb said proudly, showing her dad the medal and trophy she got

“Wow. I think someone deserve a treat” Taeyeon said and gain a toothy grin from his little princess

“Let’s go?” He said putting Sinb down

RESTAURANT

“You know dad, I am so happy. This is the first sports fest I’ve joined that made me so happy” Taeyeon can’t help not to smile seeing his daughter being so talkative. He can’t believe Sinb can talk as fast as she is doing right now. Taeyeon is just listening to the girl

“You know Dad, you should meet Irene, she’s so sweet. And She is so – so --- so-- smart” Sinb continued

“I asked her why she wasn’t there in sports fest last year held in Canada, but she told me her mother can’t afford because the only free is the fare, she has to buy her own camera ---”

“You know Dad, I pity her, really, I just don’t want to show her because she might feel bad”

“Her mom’s a café assistant and her father left them. Poor Irene” Sinb stops when she noticed her dad smiling

“Why dad?”

“It’s just, I can’t believe it sweetheart, that you can talk so fast like that” Taeyeon said shaking his head. Sinb smiles

“Excuse me Sir, your order” The waiter came with their order

“Thank you”

“Mmm, this is so nice” Taeyeon as he focused on his soup. Sinb can only smile as she remembers Irene

“Dad, I forgot to share with you. Do you know that you and Irene has so much in common ---” Sinb said still enjoying her steak

“You both like soup, any kind, you know dad, she can eat two bowl of soup or more, she is allergic with prawns and some seafoods as well, also, she loves jelly so much, she ate everything you’ve put in my bag.”

Taeyeon look at his daughter, amazed with what he heard

 “And what else?” Sinb looked up, as if thinking
