Help Me Choose My Next Story?

 

Nominee 2/4 - Single Father AU

 

Genre: Humor, Romance 
Warnings: May include Mpreg(or I give Taemin a previous female partner - that is still to be decided)
Length: Chaptered fic maybe 10-15 chapters?
Pairing: Either JongTae or 2min. - Jonghyun and Minho will share the roles of neighbor and boss. - who will be who is not yet decided on, so feel free to leave your opinion in the poll below or in the comments.

 

Synopsis:

Taemin (25) is a single father of twins (6years), struggling to balance his work (He is an assistant at an architecture firm) and his children. He usually gets help from his next door neighbor who looks after the kids from time to time. The latter is slightly younger (24) and a student at university. He is secretly in love with Taemin, which is why he takes his classes at the time when the kids are in Kindergarten so he can look after them in the afternoon.

Taemin on the other hand has feelings for his boss even though he treats him badly, not knowing about Taemin's family situation he scolds him for being late to work and not finishing tasks on time.

The boss (27) is a well educated man from a good family that wants him to marry soon. He is not interested in the women his family chooses since he is into men. On one arranged marriage meeting he sees Taemin with his sons at the aquarium. He likes Taemin's happy face a little too much - he had never seen it before because Taemin always looks so tired and worn out at work.

 

 

A/N

The story would be based on that clichée "love triangle" probably full of cute interactions with the kids and struggling Taemin who still does a great job with his boys. Maybe the problem of Taemin needing to go to the military will come up as well. (Neighbor and Boss have already gone but he couldn't due to his sons' young age)

Some jealousy going on and ... well like I said, pretty clichée and feelgood story. next to all of these depressing fics hahahhaha

It will also include ONKEY in some way or another for sure.

But being expressed mostly through small kisses, each other's comforting presence after a slaughter, crying together, opening up to the other and holding their bodies during the night sjfjejdjejsi but not in the cheesy way bc?? Nobody would be INVOLVED IN A SUGARLY RELATIONSHIP DURING THE WAR


A companionship filled with ACTUAL love that is obviosuly shown in a rather diverse way

You could include the romantic relationship but obviously keeping in mind the situation where it's developing. Surely an amazing plot which might perfectly hold some affection♡

Chapter 3: I LIKE the single father AU, i'm curious to know how you'll build taemin's character. I mean, it's pretty easy to imagine how jonghyun or minho would be like as fathers, but taemin hardly gives out a mature or fatherly vibe(AND WHEN HE'S WITH CHILDREN HE'S SO CUTE ) , so i'm really looking forward to reading this!

As for the pairing, i think jonghyun fits both the boss and the neighbor role, but YOU KNOW THE CRUSH AND SECRETLY IN LOVE THING DEFINITELY BELONG TO JJONG.
I'd rather have it 2min, MAYBE NOT TO LET JJONG ALOne YOU COULD DROP A RANDOM KIBUM ;-)))

Chapter 3: Ok including Onkey is a big yes. I’m a bit... stressed about Jonghyun being in the love triangle. I obviously won’t tell you what to do bc it’s not my place but I’m not ready for that personally >< Taem being a dad sounds super cute though!!! I seriously can’t with mpreg though... it’s one of the things that are too absurd for me. Minho being the university student next door sounds so cuuuuute.... him being the boss would be a bit cliché but it would work. but I know you prefer writing a different type of minho? I think as a boss he’d be wuite dominant but tbh that would be interesting reading from you for a change too ;) sry lots of random thoughts.

Chapter 2: All 3 stories sound great! A Jongkey Korean War story sounds cool!
as far as the 2min stories, the shape shifting story sounds quite intriguing and I don't think I've seen this story line written before, so it sounds quite unique (plus, badass Taemin and family man Minho with cute little siblings!).
I think the 2min-jongtae love triangle story sounds cute if only to see Taemin with cute twins, a younger Minho(student, young, cute!!) and tough boss Jonghyun who's secretly a softie, yes! I obviously would choose the story to go 2min(bias, what can I say), but I'm sure all their interactions would be great to read.
