Help Me Choose My Next Story?

Synopsis:

Taemin (23) is an experiment of the South Korean military. He can change his appearance by killing a person and taking theirs, has a principle of not killing civilians. Just vaguely remembers his childhood (longing for love he once knew but cannot have anymore) all he knows is living in a research facility getting trained into a killing machine.

Minho (25), a young North Korean man who takes care of his 3 younger half siblings - they are from his mother's second man as his father had been publicly executed for stealing rice, together with Minho's older brother when he was 16. His mother had died when birthing the youngest child (which is 6 years now) (the others are 9 and 13) Minho works every day at a coal mine to take care of the siblings. The younger two go to school while the 13 year old takes care of everything at home, sometimes working a few jobs during school time for other people.

Taemin is on a mission in North Korea, to get back 3 South Koreans who are kept captive.

When Minho is on the way home from work close to 11 at night (he never sees the light of the day) He sees Taemin (wearing the looks of a middle aged man) who is installing a device at a house near the mine (it is one of the undercover bases of a North Korean military fraktion that is rumored to be behind the holding of the three South Koreans). The place is in a prohibited area, that was cordoned off with barriers.

Minho tries to get the male's attention, knowing that it wasn't alowed to be hanging out around this area. When Taemin sees Minho he is curses silently and works faster. He cannot be exposed. But the civilian does not leave, telling him to get out of there, that he could get killed if someone saw him there, just loud enough for Taemin to hear it. - As if he didn't know that this could get him killed, he was very much aware of that.

Suddenly two men come outside, trying to get rid of the intruder when they spot him. But Taemin knocks one of them out  fast and clean without killing him, he couldn't change appearance infront of a civilian, otherwise he would have to get rid of him as well. His existance a highly guarded secret. But before he could take care of the unconcious man, the other attacked and the first one falls to the floor, his head cracking open on a stone. As soon as he does, Taemin's appearance changes right in front of Minho, and the taller is terrified. And after Taemin takes care of the second guard, he turnes around to the shocked man.

Taemin cannot risk Minho spilling the tea because he is a top secret experiment after all. So, he decides to keep the taller close and use him as cover.
Afraid for his own life, Minho takes the man home, his siblings already sleeping in the dark and cold room.

 

 

A/N

The story would develop around their lives in North Korea and then how they fall in love. Without Minho knowing Taemin's real appearance (or maybe he changes back and forth, but that is something to decide on later) Let me know what you think in the poll below!!

But being expressed mostly through small kisses, each other's comforting presence after a slaughter, crying together, opening up to the other and holding their bodies during the night sjfjejdjejsi but not in the cheesy way bc?? Nobody would be INVOLVED IN A SUGARLY RELATIONSHIP DURING THE WAR


A companionship filled with ACTUAL love that is obviosuly shown in a rather diverse way

You could include the romantic relationship but obviously keeping in mind the situation where it's developing. Surely an amazing plot which might perfectly hold some affection♡

Chapter 3: I LIKE the single father AU, i'm curious to know how you'll build taemin's character. I mean, it's pretty easy to imagine how jonghyun or minho would be like as fathers, but taemin hardly gives out a mature or fatherly vibe(AND WHEN HE'S WITH CHILDREN HE'S SO CUTE ) , so i'm really looking forward to reading this!

As for the pairing, i think jonghyun fits both the boss and the neighbor role, but YOU KNOW THE CRUSH AND SECRETLY IN LOVE THING DEFINITELY BELONG TO JJONG.
I'd rather have it 2min, MAYBE NOT TO LET JJONG ALOne YOU COULD DROP A RANDOM KIBUM ;-)))

Chapter 3: Ok including Onkey is a big yes. I’m a bit... stressed about Jonghyun being in the love triangle. I obviously won’t tell you what to do bc it’s not my place but I’m not ready for that personally >< Taem being a dad sounds super cute though!!! I seriously can’t with mpreg though... it’s one of the things that are too absurd for me. Minho being the university student next door sounds so cuuuuute.... him being the boss would be a bit cliché but it would work. but I know you prefer writing a different type of minho? I think as a boss he’d be wuite dominant but tbh that would be interesting reading from you for a change too ;) sry lots of random thoughts.

Chapter 2: All 3 stories sound great! A Jongkey Korean War story sounds cool!
as far as the 2min stories, the shape shifting story sounds quite intriguing and I don't think I've seen this story line written before, so it sounds quite unique (plus, badass Taemin and family man Minho with cute little siblings!).
I think the 2min-jongtae love triangle story sounds cute if only to see Taemin with cute twins, a younger Minho(student, young, cute!!) and tough boss Jonghyun who's secretly a softie, yes! I obviously would choose the story to go 2min(bias, what can I say), but I'm sure all their interactions would be great to read.
