"I'll work hard." I smiled, "Good, Seohyun will send you and Yuri to Korea by tomorrow. She will advise you soon, farewell."

I landed softly on my feet and looked to see Yuri was already in front of me

"Seriously Taeng?" She rolled her eyes and shaked her wings in distress, I was only gone for a few minutes

"What? Also Yoona said that-"

"That Seohyun will send us back to Korea and blah blah blah."

I wondered for a second and then nodded, I wanted to ask how our missions are related

”The mission is useless, I don’t even get a promotion!” Yuri complained, I don’t think she really thought over it. But she’s a dominion so really I don’t understand why they assigned her to a mission like that

"I have to go back to stupid Korea just to help some girl get hooked up with some dude! Can you believe that?" She continued to rant until I was able to speak

"I think it's a nice mission, watching people fall in love. Who are you helping though?" I asked

"Some girl named Jessica Jung. The first name sounds American." Yuri huffed, but the name rung a bell

"Jessica Jung?" I slowly mumbled. She's helping the girl who's my ex..

"Mhm, she sounds like a bit-" Yuri chuckled

"Profanity."

"Right."

"I hope they don't send us to some abandonned ugly house." She prayed

"Sure? We should get some rest though, tomorrow is a long day ahead." I suggested it even though angels don't really need to sleep but our abilities drain

We parted out ways and went to our own places

I don't own much of a home in the Angel Realm, theres not much to do, sure you can sleep, cook, do some abnormally normal things but none of those things are needed here, I even forgot what it's like to eat or sleep

It makes me miss Korea a whole lot

I went to an empty lake, no fish, no nothing, just a peaceful lake

I closed my eyes and when I opened them I saw a figure being shown on the lake's reflection

I saw a girl with long dark brown hair

She's sleeping

I admired the view of this girl, even when her eyes were closed they were charming

I closed my eyes and to no surprise the reflection was gone as I sighed

I sat down next to the lake and burried my face into my arms

That felt like seconds, and up till now it still feels weird

That's technically sleeping for me

It just takes a second and it's already the next day for me

Better yet, today is when my mission begins, as well as Yuri's

"KIMMMMMMM!" I heard loud hissing out of nowhere, I scratched my eyes and turned my head to see Yuri

I stood up and stretched dusting my wings

"Seohyun is waiting for us, we're going now!" 

Yuri grabbed me and we teleported right in front of Seohyun

"I swear- Stop doing that!" I heard a shriek and of course it was Seohyun, she's still like a baby, she's known as the "purest angel"

"Serves you Seo!" Yuri giggled

"Gee. Oh and hi Taeyeon ssi!" She bowed and I bowed in response. "Do you guys seriously need to bow?" Yuri plainly said

We laughed, "Well, I should send you two to your location right away, Miss Lim-"

"Miss Lim. Wow ok." Yuri interrupted and started to laugh

"For god sake!" Seohyun started to use her abilities

It quickly sent us into a trance

I could no longer see anything

Just black

"Yuri? Seohyun?" I called out, but no reply

I stayed silent and soon I felt drowsy

The drowsy feeling was gone

The blurriness in my vision slowly disappeared and I opened my eyes to a ceiling with a fan

“Guys where are w-“

I had realized where I am and I stood up from my bed with my hand on my mouth in shock

“This is..”

I turned around and found an alarm clock

It’s my house

My house before I died

“Oh, my god..” I gasped, I reached for my back and my wings were completely gone

The sound of the ceiling fan went on while I stood there thinking what I’m supposed to do until I remembered

“Stupid alarm clock!”

I almost was about to smack it until I figured it was my phone with a notification on some old magazine I subscribed too years ago

I grabbed my phone slowly and scrolled down the lock screen

June 4th, the day they confirmed me dead

What a lie, I died the moment I got hit

But what is Sunny gonna think when she sees her dead best friend alive

Well not alive, maybe I still have my abilities

I started twirling my hand into specific positions to cast a healing

I could feel myself getting less tired and less strained

I tried to morph my body into something else

And as I thought it didn’t work, only certain abilities can be used

I can teleport, that I know for sure but everything is so unfamiliar, who knows if I try to teleport right now I’ll probably end up on the other side of the world

I went to my wardrobe closet and picked out some things to wear, just simple clothes

I went to the bathroom and showered fast, it’s been so long,

I’m so used to that angel aura that sticked to me every second

I looked at the mirror and could see my human self, no wings, no glow

I brushed my hair which was hard and I had to yank it sometimes which was painful

I groaned and put the denim long sleeve plus a pair of denim shorts that matched

I walked out the bathroom without even looking back at the mirror and unlocked my door with my house key which was in my room

I pushed the door open and could breathe until I noticed the door hit someones head

“Yuri? What the..” I looked at the tall girl who was annoyed with the door

“Took you long enough! You woke up like five hours later than me!” She crossed her arms and started stomping like a kid

“Not my fault, blame the purest angel.”

 I walked out and could smell it

Korea

“I miss it.” I muttered

“This is weird seeing you as a human, I forgot what being a human is like, I died when I was like 5.” Yuri went up to me, she told me this a billion times

But she says it so casually, how do you just say you died when you were 5, I guess she’s one of those people who can be really deep

“Right. Shouldn’t we get food because I.. Um, I.”

“Forgot to cook?” I finished her sentence and I say the same for myself, she nods and I chuckle

We walked all the way to a café and I stayed outside waiting for Yuri to get our drinks

I just asked for a hot chocolate

But I wanted to wander off for a while, not too far but near an outlet store

I heard someone speaking in anger and completely in English

I got a bit noisy so I was about to walk to the corner until I got bumped

My shoulder ached when I landed on the concrete ground

“Oh sh!t, sh!t!” I opened one of my eyes to see a girl with brown hair

And charming..Eyes
