The basis: the iconic first interaction of Donghyuk and Junhwe in their instagram accounts
The theme: A post-valentine's, lunar new year, mash-up SNS dump in which Junhwe misses Donghyuk (with a behind-the-scenes of the Instagram inteaction. Somewhere... ^^;;)

“Surprise! Welcome back!”
, he almost dropped his phone. Sounds of a beloved laughter fills up his room but Junhwe remains in a half-dazed state. Why does he hear and see Donghyuk laughing on his bed?
Wait. Donghyuk really is laughing on his bed. When did he arrive? Didn’t he say he’s about to buy tacos? They were just chatting a second ago--
“The face you made!” Donghyuk snorts and collapses on his sheets, arms wrapped around his stomach. “So funny!”
Junhwe still doesn’t quite get it.
“What?” he kicks his door close while still staring. “Why are you-- We were just--... How?”
“Didn’t you hear? Surprise!” Donghyuk sits up and raises his arms in a mock surprise gesture. “Got back here earlier than planned. I figured I should do an event for you.” He grins.
Junhwe takes another moment to fully realize what happened. He releases a soft laugh that sounds more like a snort, before shaking his head. Obviously, he didn’t expect such a thing to happen and setting aside the slight annoyance from being played with, he feels very much revived and appreciated.
Playfully clicking his tongue, he crosses his arms and approaches his bed. He lifts a leg to kick his boyfriend, but Donghyuk grabs a pillow and shields himself with it.
“An event huh?” he nudges Donghyuk’s leg with his foot. “It’s nice but you could do better.”
“Wow, that’s what I get? Not even a simple thanks?” Donghyuk kicks his foot away. He sways but catches his footing before he could make a fool of himself. Donghyuk still snickers at him so he huffs out air.
“Thanks for deciding you miss me enough to do a surprise.” he blurts out. A sarcastic comment or a retort always works to hide his embarrassment.
“You’re welcome. I thought I wouldn’t, but I did miss you more than I expected.”
But not when a sincere statement is said.
He feels his ears and cheeks grow hot so he (awkwardly) coughs into a fist. There’s a reflex to say a quip but no words are forming; not when Donghyuk is smiling so brightly at him. He just stands there, arms still crossed and swallowing a lump that formed in his throat.
Donghyuk thankfully spares him by letting go of his pillow and opening up his arms to him. “Come here” is implied, and Junhwe didn’t waste a second to do so. Donghyuk giggles as he pulls him into a bear hug and drag him to his sheets. He takes a moment to stare at Donghyuk’s face, appreciating the pink on his cheeks and the clarity of his reflection on his eyes, before he lets Donghyuk lead him down for a kiss.
Then he remembers something important so he pulls back a bit.
“You still haven’t told me you love me too.”
Donghyuk sighs lowly in exasperation. He makes a finger heart, to which Junhwe prepares to scowl at, but Donghyuk stops him from complaining by mouthing the words in between kisses.
Junhwe grins after each. That’s much better.

“Sweet! Who bought these tacos?”
Bobby promptly drops his bag to grab one of the takeouts. He winces at the aroma of heavy spiciness that greets him, so even though the hefty amount of cheese tempts him to claim the food for himself, he closes it and grabs another one instead. Thankfully, the 2nd one is the original flavor.
Then Jinhwan comes in from his room, bringing his charger and a pillow. Bobby watches as the mat-hyung grabs one of the taco takeouts too.
“Let’s go.”
Bobby stops mid-bite. “Where?”
“Upstairs.”
“Why?”
Jinhwan slowly shrugs and points towards the rooms with a jerk of his head.
“Donghyuk said he and June will have a post-lunar new year apartment date.”
“...A what…?”
“A post-lunar new year apartment date.”
Bobby takes about two seconds before snorting. Clamping a hand to his mouth to prevent a laugh, he crouches down to get his bag and slings it onto his shoulder. Jinhwan is biting his lip to stop himself from laughing too. So that’s why one of their dongsaengs bought tacos for them. Compensation for kicking them out for the night, huh?
“Okay then.” Bobby snickers. “So, is this June or Donggu’s idea?”
“June’s whining and Donghyuk’s generosity, I'm sure.” Jinhwan answers sagely, a smirk on his face when Bobby blurts out “aigoo” in amusement as they leave.
