“I-it’s over..”

Leaning her back on the wall, the traces of tears can be seen on Sua’s face. She reached out to take her phone that was placed on table next to her bed. Her fingers scrolled to find the number she always call when she had problem.

‘Yoohyeon’

After a few ring, a voice can be heard through the phone.

Hello? Sua?”

“Y-Yoohyeon ya..”

“Sua? What happened?”

“I- He- broke up with me.”

‘That jerk..’ Yoohyeon mumbled to herself, she had never believed that Kris is a good man. He has made her best friend cried so many times and it will be the last, will it? Those thought filled Yoohyeon’s head as she kept her phone on her ear.

“Yoohyeon? Are you there?”

“Y-yes! Stay where you are, I will be there in a minute.”

Not long after that, rushed footsteps were heard in front of Sua’s room.

“Sua ya—“ Yoohyeon said while knocking Sua’s door. 

They were bestfriends since childhood and Yoohyeon had a copy of Sua’s house key so it will be easy for them to visit each other.

“Sua ya— are you the—“ Yoohyeon’s hand were left hanging on the air as Sua opened the door.

Looking at Sua’s eyes, Yoohyeon’s expression immediately changed into a furious one.

“What— I mean, how? No, don’t say it to me. I don’t want to hear it.” Yoohyeon approached Sua and wrapped her arms around Sua, laying the latter’s head on her shoulder as she caressed her back to soothe the sad girl. Giving support to Sua was better than listening her talking about that jerk.

‘I promise I will always protect you.’
