Sunggyu used to be a prince, infact the eldest prince of the Ice Kingdom, The heir to the throne,  but had long ago denounced his title, wanting nothing to do with his hypocritical kingdom, especially the king, his father Howon. 

The Only thing preventing him from leaving is his unfairly imprisoned, precious mother, Dongwoo and innocent step brother Sungjong. 

Sunggyu doesn't believe in love anymore so why then does his heart beat so erratically when the arrogant heir of the fire kingdom so much as glances at him? What is this feeling in his heart? Is selling himself to the devil supposed to feel so good?
