A very long time ago......... In a time long forgotten by man an Era where man and the heavens still lived in unity and harmony. The power of the elements of nature, were entrusted by God, to the care of 5 majestic creatures created by the lord himself, in order to aid him in ensuring peace amongst nature and man 

The mythical spirits The Crimson phoenix, The Topaz Tortoise, The azure dragon, The jade tiger and The sparkling nine tails or better known as the ‘Crystal fox’ adored their creator, their master deeply  and did everything they could to please the lord by being rightful virtuous guardians of the tremendous power granted upon them by their benevolent creator 

God in turn loved them very very much and held them dearly close to his heart like a father would his children 

 however  it was no secret to those living at that time that the lord though unbiased still held one particular guardian closer to his heart than the rest.......... The lovely  lonely crystal fox

The nine tailed fox, ruled over the ice element, its elegant movements always leaving in its wake an unending trail of snowflakes and a cold winter breeze which  froze everything around it wherever it went

 Due to its strong powers , the spirits of the other elements earth air and water usually avoided the fox as they couldn’t stand the bite of cold that followed the ice guardian always 

The Only spirit that didn’t avoid the ninetails was the crimson Phoenix, the guardian of the fire element who solely had the ability to resist the foxes cold aura

 The Phoenix extended its wings to the lonely fox in friendship and the overjoyed ice guardian accepted it happily

But the fox wasn’t blind, he could see the effects his friendship with the Phoenix had on the his relationship with the other spirits, who subtly started avoiding the Phoenix as the fire guardian perpetually emitted an intense scorching heat from its body in order to withstand the chill of winter from the crystal fox 

Thus the fox not wanting the Phoenix to be isolated like him.... choosing his friend’s welfare above his own, forcefully pushed his one and only friend the Phoenix away avoiding and turning down every single invitation from the crimson bird

The Phoenix could only watch helplessly and confused as the crystal fox rebuked all his attempts at closeness and silently distanced himself from the fire keeper

The sparkling fox then focused its entire life and being in serving its creator to the best of its abilities....... Making him God’s favoured child

There were many reasons for this favouritism. One being the fox loved his creator above all others a love so intense  pure and incomparable to any other

  And the other being the fact the nine tails was undoubtedly the most honest and  honorable amongst the caretakers never abusing his powers even in the haze of anger or despair 

Infact stepping down many a times to avoid conflict amongst the guardians never blaming another for his faults even if it may not have been his fault in the first place 

 It was quite obvious that the fox had won God’s favour entirely by his own efforts, but even still the others spirits sometimes curiously wondered what was so special about the fox for God to love him so

That is except for the Phoenix who was very happy for his friend as he always knew the fox spirit was special, more so than the rest of them

 The sacred entities always carried out their duties peacefully and rightfully changing the seasons with the passage of time and ensuring the safety of the mortals on earth everyday until one day God’s worst enemy, the devil having thought the world had become far too boring these past few years, decided to add a little drama in his ‘friend’ God’s life

thus the devil waited for the perfect opportunity, for the hour God would be resting, on the creation day, entrusting on this special day, everything completely into the hands of the guardians as he immersed himself in deep prayer and meditation, which could never be broken till the next sunrise of the lunar lest a catastrophe should be avoided. 

 The devil then slyly cornered the guardian who had the most ill feelings towards the crystal fox, the emotional azure dragon. 

Using sweet words and a gentle tone, he craftily tricked the guardian into believing the cunning fox was deceiving their creator and using God for his own benefit

The devil successfully implanted the seeds of jealousy and disgust in the dragons mind

It wasn’t soon before the azure dragon succumbing to its ugly emotions in a fit of rage cornered and attacked the sparkling ninetails as the devil cackled in the sidelines

And  though the fox felt betrayed, he refused to defend himself not wanting to hurt the dragon instead choosing to receive the brunt of the attacks

 As the azure dragon prepared to deal its final blow upon the injured fox

 The crimson Phoenix magically arrived at that moment standing in between them sacrificing itself to protect the innocent fox spirit 

As the ninetails cried in sorrow and held his dear friends body,  the Phoenix confessed its undying love to the shocked broken fox as it passed away happy to be in the arms of his beloved

This made way for more jealousy from the azure dragon who was, also deeply in love with the phoenix

When the other spirits arrived at the scene the dragon now possessed by the devil falsely accused the fox for killing the Phoenix

The Topaz Tortoise was highly skeptical of the accusation though being ever observant and questioned the dragon as neither the turtle nor tiger believed the fox was capable of such a cruel act, especially the tiger who had a hidden soft spot for the fox 

The fact the other spirits were also siding with the fox drove the dragon blind with rage making the fire guardian attack the unsuspecting caretakers, ensuing a vicious fight of the elements. 

The conflict had resulted in the death of all the spirits, the crystal fox willingly accepting his death from the immense guilt in his heart 

With no one left to control the elements and God deep in meditation, nature started creating a havoc turning uncontrollable and wild

The whole world was struck by calamities floods tornados hurricanes........ The earth itself was on the verge of destruction

 When the people called out to God for redemption. God woke up from prayer, knowing immediately what the devil had done, lamented the lose of his beloved 5 children

God banished the devil into eternal darkness and sorrow condemning him to a life of pain and suffering 

The devil hissed as the shackles encased his limbs and started dragging him into the endless pits of despair, cursing the 5 guardians to always have the same fate and never truly be happy no matter how many times God resurrected them

God distraught by the suffering befallen on the world and Not wanting his 5 guardians to suffer anymore gathered the souls of the 5 sacred entities and created five sacred shards  

 God then heeded the prayers of his subjects by blessing the north, south, east and west kingdoms with five blessed children placing in each child a shard, each one representing one of the 5 caretaker spirits....... the children human reincarnations of the spirits with no memories of their past life

A/N MY EXAM WENT REALLY BADLY...... MY mom SAID IF I DON'T PASS THE NEXT PAPER SHE'S TAKING MY PHONE AWAY..... I REALLY DID STUDY HARD SO WHY T T

Thinking about the 2nd paper is making me cry T T
