being a youtuber was hard. won had 0 ideas for his next video and was contemplating on just not posting a video. he knew that he was in a priviledged position: not everyone could do something they were passionate in. and him, being able to do what he truly enjoyed, should be able to just pick up a camera and film something. he wished it was easier said than done.
sometimes, his boyfriend would help him with ideas. minghao was extremely talented and creative and seemed to have an unending pool of new content for won. it was then a brief idea of doing a 'boyfriend tag' came to mind but he knew he couldn't. not when his boyfriend was the xu minghao from popular group seventeen. not when it was his boyfriend and he too, was a boy. not when he was korean and his boyfriend was chinese. it was like their relationship existed to defy every single korean societal norm about relationships.
his said boyfriend was also busy in the dance practice room dancing his legs away and an idea (a more doable one, of course) came to mind. maybe he could do a dancing challenge? minghao thought him the dance to thanks ages ago (read: 3months ago) and won figured he could do something to support minghao who was going to comeback with a song in 3 days.
the problem now was that won barely remembered anything he was taught. the choreography to seventeen songs were too intricate, complicated and difficult and won didn't have the braincells and energy to do them. he wondered how minghao seemed to be able to dance so effortlessly and flawlessly. in fact, he wondered how anyone was able to do that at all. and so, won found himself watching several dance practice videos. he was addicted because they made dancing look so easy. but from the occasional "my legs feel like flying the off" from his boyfriend, he knew it wasn't. but for minghao and to hopefully garner more fans for him, won would try (even though he knew he would fail miserably).

joshua couldn't wait to get off practice. the analog clock on the wall read that it was currently 12am and him and the rest of the boys were still hard at work. they probably wouldn't be done until 5am. or later. the good thing about doing a really long distance relationship was that the difference in timezones allowed them to talk. comeback seasons were the absolute worst and joshua had almost no time for the girl he loved the most. his phone was cast aside somewhere with the rest of the member's phones. phones are a distraction! he remembers hearing one of the trainers say and since then, the members made it a point to not use their phones unless it was a designated rest timing. seventeen wanted a daesang and if using his phone for 5 minutes might risk that, joshua would rather not. still, time was ticking slowly and joshua couldn't wait for the long hand to turn back to 12 and the short hand to hit 4.
meanwhile, 9580km away in the streets of los angeles, elaine moon had just left her house to go for a jog. she's quite proud of her everyday routine and the amount of dedication she has to waking up at 6:30am every morning. as the thought slips into her head, she can also hear jasper, her long-time friend, say "why wake up at 630am when you can just not wake up lol" and she internally chuckles but carries on running. as much as she's thankful that jasper is one of her only friends who are still in los angeles, there's a part of her that wishes that joshua was still there. that he didn't fly miles and miles away to find a career and start his life there. he had left too soon. too soon. and while her plan was to go back home to take a nap, joshua had texted her 6 hours ago asking for a facetime and how could elaine say no to that?

honestly, woobin was surprised they made it that long. and by 'they', he meant mr-worldwide-handsome kim seokjin and himself. the nobody. the adoptee. he was so sure that someone would spot them together but it's been two years and nothing. no news, no sign of anyone finding out anytime soon. woobin wasn't sure if he could handle anyone outside his small circle of close friends and family finding out. knetizens were intimidating. he remembers in 2014 when seokjin was caught up in a '' scandal where fans noticed a box of condoms in a picture he posted. sure, seokjin (and bascially the whole world) has moved on from that because it was just condoms. but what happens when people see that bts seokjin was gay and in a relationship. what would happen then?
it's been two years. the length of time sinks in by woobin can't figure out if that's a long time or a short time. his ex-girlfriend, ahyeon, was with him for almost a year and things were so rough. but seokjin made everything seem like it was okay. ahyeon was always busy fawning over any handsome k-pop idol she worked with (woobin makes a note that seokjin was one of them). but seokjin never commented about any idol. ever. and woobin was sure that almost all of them were 100% better looking and definitely more talented than he'd ever be. despite being so busy, seokjin always made sure to accompany woobin for dinner — no matter how busy he was. even if he had a schedule while woobin was eating dinner, he was sure to either drop woobin a text or pretend to go to the bathroom to give woobin a short call.
it was things like that that made woobin sure the two years were short because they would last much longer than that.
