IT HAS BEEN ... A SOLID FEW MONTHS SINCE I LAST UPDATED THIS BUT I FINALLY HAVE TIME TO WRITE THIS. I WAS CONSIDERING A REVAMP BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO WASTE THE EFFORTS OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAD ALREADY APPLIED SO HERE I AM! WRITING THIS ,, IF YOU WERE CHOSEN AND ARE STILL ACTIVE IT WOULD MEAN A LOT IF YOU COMMENTED SOMETHING. I'D PROBABLY STILL WRITE THIS EVEN IF NO ONE IS AROUND BECAUSE 1) I REALLY NEED TO IMPROVE MY WRITING AND 2) I PROMISED MYSELF TO FINISH THIS SO ,, ANYWAY I HOPE THE FIRST CHAPTER WAS OKAY. the first few chapters would mainly be just short chapters with fluff(!!) since angst would be too much for the beginning of the story ,, this chapter features sujin, hakjoon and jian while the next one will feature the remaining three chosen characters. subsequently most of the chapters wouldn't be broken up this way but i really wanted to post something so ... i'll focus more on character x character interactions soon so !! please anticipate !! if i got anything about your characters wrong do let me know bc i'm kinda dumb haha ,, anyway this author's note is too long so let's just end this here.

"cheers to being unemployed ." sujin lifted what must have been her 5th glass sofa and knocked it against seongwu's empty glass. "i'm not unemployed. what are you talking about?" he was sure sujin would be a nuisance very soon and that he would probably have to carry her away from the gathering soon. "wannaone is disbanding! disbanding! i'm going to be the breadwinner of this family." sujin picked up her sixth glass and the clear liquid disappeared almost immediately. seongwu never thought conversing with a drunk sujin would be this entertaining. "firstly, you're unemployed too. and secondly. we literally just started dating. who says i want to have a family with you?" sujin shot seongwu a hurtful glare. "excuse you. i'd be the perfect wife." sujin crossed her arms and turned her back away from him before speaking again, "i'm sure minhyun would agree with me." seongwu rolled his eyes before engulfing her in a big, warm and cosy hug. sujin wasn't sure if her cheeks were turning red because of her asian flush or because seongwu was being so cheesy in front of all of their friends. "i hate to burst your bubble but... you're not even minhyun hyung's type," seongwu whispered into her ear before patting her head and pouring another glass for himself.
"remind me why i said yes to being your girlfriend again?"
"because you fell in love with me at that welcome party in freshman year and you literally couldn't get me out of your head."
"i'm drunk but even i know that's a ing lie you ."

nothing could make him feel more proud of her than the moment he was in now. hakjoon waited for the perfect moment to go back stage to congratulate her. their concert tickets sold out in 3 minutes and he was glad that he had the 'my-girlfriend-is-an-apink-member' pass to get a ticket for himself and his sister. it's been a while since he saw her. she was so busy promoting eung eung that when hakjoon finally spotted her figure, he felt his heart sink. he thought he'd be over the moon but she had lost so much weight that he was sure play m entertainment made her starve. still, he reminded himself not to spoil the moment for her by nagging at her. she was still engrossed with the conversation she was having with a staff member when hakjoon walked up behind her to wrap his arms around her frail frame. "you did great, jakji." stunned by the sudden contact, eunji wouldn't probably screamed if she didn't recognise the nickname. the staff member eunji was previously talking to had a surprised look painted on her face and hakjoon immediately released his hands around her waist. "boyfriend?" the staff member asked and eunji nodded sheepishly, "keep it a secret, okay? we don't want anything announced yet." the staff member nodded before leaving the lovebirds alone.
"you made it. i thought you had to work overtime at the station today." eunji asked but she was glad he was there supporting her.
"i asked junghwan-sunbae to cover for me today." hakjoon didn't entirely enjoy talking to junghwan. the senior was constantly talking about apink and it was uncomfortable hearing him talk about eunji. and now that hakjoon asked junghwan for a favour, he knew he was at a disadvantage and would probably be the one who'd have to drive his drunk team captain during their next team dinner. it wasn't fun but eunji was worth it.

jian heard some shuffling outside her room door and became suspicious. it was almost 11pm and she was this close to falling asleep. kyunghwa wasn't supposed to home until late and she really wasn't expecting anyone to visit. she contemplated between finding a potted plant and smashing it into the intruder's head and hiding under her bed. before she could make her decision, though, the door clicked open and a familiar face filled the entrance of her doorway. byun baekhyun. jian couldn't decide whether to be happy that her boyfriend was finally with her or to be annoyed at him because she had to wake up early for work tomorrow. "my baby! i missed you." baekhyun broke the silence before walking and sitting at the corner of her bed. jian noticed he was still buried in thick makeup and his hair still looked as though it was abused by hairspray. "you really didn't bother washing up before you came, huh?" jian remarked, patting the empty space beside her. the way baekhyun's face lit up stirred a strange feeling that jian forgot about. "exo won an award at the award show today and the first person i thought of celebrating it with was you." he flashed a boyish grin and assumed the position beside her, "at least i changed, right?" "yeah but now you're going to get makeup all over my clean white sheets." jian pouted and baekhyun took that opportunity to press his lips agasint hers. "i literally washed my own lipstick off my lips hours ago, why are you making me do that again." baekhyun knew it was a joke and that he was supposed to laugh. in response, he chuckled and buried his face in the crook of her neck, smearing more of his makeup off. instead of coming up with a sarcastic remark, he felt whole being with her like this. instead of fighting with her like he normally would, baekhyun decided that mumbling an "i love you so much" would suffice.
